    Foreign Direct Investment, Portfolio Investment, and Economic Growth in Indonesia: Vector Auto Regression Approach

    The goal of this research is to examine the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Portfolio Investment (PI) and Economic Growth (EG) correlation in Indonesia.  This research is using the Economic growth, foreign direct investment and portfolio investment data during 2010-2016, which is accessed from  www.bps.go.id; www.bkpm.go.id and www.bi.go.id, and using Vector Auto Regression method. The result shows that FDI and EG have two way correlationship, meaning the connection between  past Indonesia FDI and recent Indonesia EG are exist. PI and EG have the same correlationship yet it does not influence the investors to invest at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as they, particularly foreign investors, are looking forward to the Indonesia Macro-economy policies or recent information about it

WorldBank, 2003, social capital is defined as institutions, social relations, networks, honesty,establishment of norms of quality and quantity of social interaction with the community. Akdere,2005 made in three forms of social capital, are; macro level, messo and micro levels level. Socialcapital at the macro level is measures of social capital which is used on a wider scope.     The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets to changes in earnings in telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is a secondary data from financial statements on six telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Method of data analysis used in this study is multiple regression models. The study found that simultaneous operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets influence the change in earnings in telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The same findings were also found partial test results. This indicates that the operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets is a variable for investors to consider before making a decision to invest.     Fdi & Idx: a Causality Test

    This study aims to examine the causal relationship between foreign net purchase and stock market capitalization, as well as to examine the effect of foreign direct investments towards the development of stock markets in Indonesia. The data used in this study were secondary data of FDI and market capitalization issued quarterly in the form of time series during the period of January 2000 to September 2010 obtained from the Board of Investment, Bank Indonesia, Central Bureau of Statistics and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data were analyzed by using Granger's Causality method to test the causal relationship between the two variables. The predictive power of prior information may indicate a causal relationship between y and z in the long term. The results indicate that there is a pattern of one-way causal relationship between foreign net purchase and market capitalization, which means foreign net purchase significantly, affects market capitalization. The results also found the effect FDI has on market capitalization and this indicates that the Indonesian stock market is getting better. This condition is also supported by the strengthening of Indonesian economy fundamentals that led to foreign investors interested to invest in Indonesia.

    INTEREST RATES AND CURRENCIES EFFECTS ON ISLAMIC AND CONVENTIONAL BONDS

    Bond markets have not been well developed in emerging countries. Realizing its important role, especially after the 1997 crises and the islamic economics development, emerging countries have started to develop such markets. This research examines the effect of interest rates and currencies on Islamic and conventional bonds in Bursa Malaysia. The analysis on Islamic bonds shows that interest rates and currencies do not influence Islamic bonds, which supports the prohibition of interest in Islam. The analysis on conventional bonds finds evidence that both interest rates and currencies affect conventional bond. It also finds evidence of a negative association between interest rates and a conventional bond.     This study examined the influence of dividend policy, asset structure, and managerial ownership on debt policy in mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study used secondary data obtained from the financial statements and annual reports of each company as many as 23 mining companies as the sample. The data analysis method used was a multiple linear regression analysis with the help of Eviews 10. The results partially showed that dividend policy and asset structure partially did not influence debt policy, while ownership partially positively and significantly influence debt policy. Meanwhile simultaneously, dividend policy, asset structure, and ownership affected the debt policy of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Factors Affecting SOEs Returns in IDX

    This study aims to examine the effect of corporate social responsibility programs, fundamental and macroeconomic variables on returns in SOEs on the IDX. This study uses financial report documentation data obtained from the pages of the Financial Services Authority, Bank Indonesia, and the Central Statistics Agency for the period 2018-2021 so that the number of observations is 80. The data analysis method uses a static panel regression approach. The results of the study found that the stock returns of SOEs were only determined by the price earning ratio. While there are no other variables that affect stock returns, including the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs that have been carried out by state owned companies. Furthermore, this study finds that the return on assets of state owned companies is determined by inflation, current ratio, leverage and earnings per share. While the variables of corporate social responsibility, price earning ratio, gross domestic product and exchange rate have no effect on return on assets. Meanwhile, other findings of this study found that corporate social responsibility has a negative effect on return on assets, while in addition to earnings per share, exchange rates and inflation. While the other variables used do not affect the return on equity

    The objectives this research is to analyze the relationship legal revenue to expenditures in North Aceh. The data used in this study are reported revenue realization consisting of local taxes, retribution, and other legal revenue to particular expenditure direct in North Aceh for 30 years from 1982 -2011. The method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results found that the revenue associated with direct expenditure in the North Aceh. This indicates that the higher the revenue, the greater the direct spending by an area. Subsequently other findings in this study are all components of tax revenue in this case, retribution, etc. legitimate income also affect direct spending.
