    This study explores the perceptions of nurses on the role in improving patient safety at the Deli Medan General Hospital. This research is qualitative research using the method of Focus Group Discussion (FGD). This study's results reveal four themes related to the nurse's perception of the role in carrying outpatients at the Deli Medan General Hospital. In conclusion, there are four themes of nurses' perceptions about the role in implementing patient safety, namely: 1) events that almost cause harm to patients; 2) role in improving patient safety; 3) supporting factors for the implementation of roles in improving patient safety; 4) factors inhibiting the implementation of the role in improving patient safety.     Persepsi Perawat Manager tentang Pelaksanaan Audit Mutu Keperawatan di Ruang Rawat Inap

    This study aims to explore nurse managers' perceptions about the implementation of Nursing Quality Audit in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. H. Yuliddin Away. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The participants in this study were 15 nurse managers. Data was collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and analyzed using content analysis. The results showed that there were five themes related to the nurse manager's perception of the implementation of a quality audit of nursing in the inpatient ward, namely: 1) the meaning of audit according to the nurse manager; 2) the implementation of nursing quality audits; 3) nursing quality indicators; 4) obstacles in the implementation of nursing quality audits; 5) supporting factors for audit implementation.     Kohesivitas dan Kecerdasan Emosional Perawat terhadap Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana

    This study aims to analyze the effect of nurse cohesiveness and emotional intelligence on the performance of nurses at Bina Kasih General Hospital Medan. The research method used is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that the nurse's cohesiveness and emotional intelligence obtained a p-value of 0.001 < = 0.05. The most dominant variable affecting the performance of the implementing nurse is the emotional intelligence variable with a regression coefficient of OR 89.514. In conclusion, nurses' cohesiveness and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on the performance of implementing nurses at Bina Kasih General Hospital Medan.     Pelaksanaan Bedside Handover terhadap Komunikasi Interprofesional Perawat

      This study aims to determine the effect of bedside handover implementation on nurse interprofessional communication at Cut Meutia General Hospital. The research used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control two-group pre-post test design. The results showed an effect of bedside handover on interprofessional communication at the Cut Meutia General Hospital ((p=0.001 <0.05). In conclusion, the performance of bedside handover affected the nurse's interprofessional communication, among others, in conveying information and discussions, receiving information, respecting the uniqueness of nurses, and better teamwork.   Keywords: Bedside Handover, Nurse Interprofessional Communicatio

    Kepemimpinan Klinis terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Keperawatan

    This study aims to analyze the effect of clinical leadership (quality of self, collaboration, managing services, improving service quality and setting goals) on the quality of nursing services at the University Hospital of North Sumatra. The method used is a cross-sectional survey of 94 respondents. The results showed that the p-value for the self-quality variable was 0.000, clinical leadership was 0.001 and the variable improved service quality was 0.004 for the quality of nursing services. In conclusion, there is an effect of self-quality, clinical leadership, managing services, improving service quality and setting goals on the quality of nursing services at the University Hospital of North Sumatra.     A SURVEY ON YOUNG PEOPLE’S PURPOSES AND COMMUNICATIONS ACTIVITIES IN COFFEE SHOPS IN BANDA ACEH

    The purpose of this study was to investigate the young people communication activities and purposes in coffee shops in Banda Aceh. The objectives of this study were to investigating why young people either male or female (in Banda Aceh) hang out at coffee shops and what they are doing there. The method employs in this study are quantitative in nature.  Survey is used to collect the data needed for this study. A set of questionnaire is distributed to 1,500 young people who were hanging out in coffee shops in Banda Aceh. The data collected were analyzed through SPSS in the form of percentages.  The results showed that the main reasons for hanging out in the coffee shops, apart from drinking coffee, were to chat with friends, look for entertainment and fill in time. The main form of communication was small talk and amusement. At the same time, those who talked about their studies did not get satisfaction. These young people also usually used the internet while they were in the coffee shops – to play games, chat with (other) friends and also to get materials for study. Limitations of this study was that onlyquestionnaire was used to get the data. As a matter of fact, the interview should be done to get the detail data. However, this study has given valuable information for readers in general in relation to the activities and purposes of hanging out at the coffee shops among young people in Aceh.     Job Demands–Resources Model Affects the Performance of Associate Nurses in Hospital

    Low nurses’ performance is related with increased job demands and unprofessional job resources. This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze the effects of the job demands–resources model on the performance of associate nurses. The study population was composed of 126 nurses randomly selected. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression test. The results showed that job demands and job resources significantly affected the performance of associate nurses. A moderate or heavy level of job demands supported with good job resources will have a positive effect on nurse motivation; thus, nurse’s performance remains good. Job demands must be balanced with job resources, which is important in formulating an organizational policy model that contributes to improving nurse performance.Abstrak Model Tuntutan-Sumber Daya Pekerjaan Memengaruhi Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana di Rumah Sakit. Kurangnya kinerja perawat berkaitan dengan tuntutan pekerjaan yang meningkat dan sumber daya pekerjaan yang tidak profesional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job demands-resources model terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana dengan menggunakan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 126 perawat ruangan rawat inap dan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan persamaan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job demands-resources model berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana. Tuntutan pekerjaan pada kategori sedang maupun berat namun diimbangi dengan sumber daya pekerjaan yang baik, maka perawat memiliki motivasi yang bersifat positif sehingga kinerja perawat tetap baik. Direkomendasikan pada pihak manajemen agar tuntutan pekerjaan yang diberikan harus diseimbangkan dengan sumber daya pekerjaan sehingga pada akhirnya dapat dirumuskan model kebijakan organisasi yang berkonstribusi dalam meningkatkan kinerja perawat. Kata Kunci: job demands-resources model, kinerja perawa

    SIMULASI TEGANGAN PROPELLER Al-Mg YANG DIRANCANG UNTUK PROPELLER RENDAH BISING

    Salah satu bagian dari pesawat UAV adalah propeller, dimana fungsi propeller ini adalah sebagai gaya dorong (trush) bagi sebuah pesawat. namun dalam sebuah propeller terdapat gaya dorong yang menyebabkan terjadi beberapa macam tegangan yang terjadi propeller Untuk mempermudah mendapatkan tegangan, regangan dan deformasi yang terjadi pada bilah propeller maka dilakukan simulasi aliran maupun static structural yang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Kegunaan dilakukannya simulasi ini adalah untuk mendapatkan nilai tegangan, regangan dan deformasi yang terjadi pada setiap elemen propeller. Dalam hal ini setiap bagian pada propeller akan mendapatkan tegangan yang berbeda pada setiap titik. Dalam melakukan simulasi pada propeller peneliti menggunakan software ansys 15.0 yaitu fluent dan static structural dengan variasi kecepatan fluida sebesar 10 – 50 m/s. Propeller dibagi dalam 198827 meshing yang dilakukan di fluent, setelah hasil aliran didapat maka hasil tersebut menjadi input di uji static structural. Dari hasil uji static structural deformasi, tegangan dan regangan yang didapat pada kecepatan 10 m/s sebesar 2.9742x10- 7m, 1.2676 x 10-6dan51.46 Pa. pada kecepatan 20 m/s sebesar 1.0941 x 10-6 m, 4.6729 x 10-6 dan 19134 Pa. pada kecepatan 30 m/s sebesar 2.1874 x 10-6 m, 9.3428x10-6 dan 38322 Pa. pada kecepatan 40 m/s sebesar 3.5028x10-6,3.5028x10-6 dan 1.4962x10-5.Pada kecepatan 50 m/s sebesar 5.0521 x 10-6 m, 2.1581 x 10-5dan 89077 Pa. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa deformasi yang paling besar terjadi pada bilah propeller terletak pada bagian terluar propeller sedangkan regangan dan tegangan yang terjadi pada bilah propeller terletak pada bagian hub propeller
