    This study develops instructional materials in the form of textbooks and is packaged in the form of e-Learning. The material that was raised was Fundamental Physics devoted to Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This is a Research and Development research with 3D model (define, design and development). The results showed that the validation of teaching materials and materials in teaching materials included in the category is “very good”. The practitioners 'assessment showed that the basic physics teaching materials based on e-learning were included in the "very good" category while the students' perceptions of the Teaching Materials were included in the "good" category. Thus e-learning materials based on fundamental physics materials for biology department worthy of use in the process of learning in fundamental physics courses in biology department

    Project Based Learning Based on Laboratory Experiments to Produce Laser Diffraction Experimental Devices on CD and DVD with 2 Measurement Methods

    All the CDs and DVDs that we find in the market have a large capacitance. This capacitance states how much storage capacity can be stored on the CD or DVD. Several studies have been conducted to determine or prove the capacitance of CDs and DVDs using laser light diffraction, but the measurement process is carried out conventionally, so the results obtained are less accurate. This research is an experimental study that aims to determine the capacitance of CDs and DVDs through red and green laser diffraction with the help of digital image measurements. To complete this research, the team followed the steps of Project Based Learning (PBL) which consisted of 7 stages, namely Challenging Problems or Questions, Sustained Inquiry, Authenticity, Student Voice and Choice, Reflection, Critique and Revision, and Public Product. By following the PBL stages, the team succeeded in producing an experimental device with good results. The results obtained with digital images are then compared with the results obtained conventionally to determine which measurements produce a more accurate value. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusion is that measurements with digital images are better than using conventional measurements. From this process also, the team acquired more skills, namely critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration

    IDENTIFY ACHIEVEMENT AND LEARNING ACTIVITY OF PHYSICS PROSPECTIVE TEACHER THROUGH UTILIZATION OF WAVE-PARTICLE DUALITY TECHNOLOGY ENABLED ACTIVE LEARNING SIMULATIONS

    Study about utilization of interactive multimedia simulation as a learning media on physics learning is very crucial. Currently, the use of interactive simulations with various learning methods has been widely used.This study aims to identify achievement and learning activity of physics teacher candidate by harnessing Technology Enabled Active Learning Simulation (TEALSim) on physics concept. The research type is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of the study was 41 student of physics education department at Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data analysis of this study using descriptive and quantitative analysis for research result. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant improvement on before and after giving treatment where the value of N-Gain is mayority on “enough” category by 73,09%. This indicate that the implementation of TEALSim can enhance of student’s achievement in Physics Education Department. Beside of that, according to result of student’s activity analysis, the average is above 80% that is on “very good” category which means that students are very active on doing learning of physics by the utilization of TEALSimKajian tentang pemanfaatan simulasi interaktif sebagai media pada pembelajaran fisika sangatlah penting. Saat ini penggunaan simulasi interaktif dengan berbagai metode pembelajaran telah banyak digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar calon guru fisika dengan memanfaatkan Technology Enabled Active Learning Simulation (TEALSim) pada konsep fisika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pra Eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 41 mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika Universitas Negeri Makassar. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dimana nilai N-Gain mayoritas berada pada kategori “cukup” sebesar 73,09%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TEALSim dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa di Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil analisis aktivitas mahasiswa rata-rata berada di atas 80% yaitu pada kategori “sangat baik” yang artinya siswa sangat aktif dalam melakukan pembelajaran fisika dengan pemanfaatan TEALsi

    Sistem pembelajaran daring membuat kegiatan praktikum tidak dapat terlaksana. Salah satu cara mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis laboratrorium virtual melalui program PKM yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan menggunakan blended learning.  Program pelatihan terstruktur dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara dosen dari Program Studi Fisika FMIPA Universitas Muslim Maros dengan guru-guru IPA di SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. Pelatihan ini sebagai metode yang tepat untuk mencapai tujuan PKM dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (i) orientasi guru terhadap perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan blended learning, (ii) mempresentasi/demonstrasi, perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual,  (iii) memberikan latihan terbimbing kepada guru cara mengembangka dan menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan blended learning pada 1 (satu) kelas, (iv) memberikan latihan mandiri kepada guru untuk mengembangkan dan mengemplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual pada beberapa kelas. Diakhir kegiatan para peserta diberi angket mengenai penilaian mereka terhadap kegiatan PKM yang telah berlangsun

    Pengembangan Simulasi Interaktif Gerak Parabola Menggunakan VBA Excel Dalam Pembelajaran Fisika

    Berbagai macam simulasi telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh guru dalam menyajikan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Sebagian besar simulasi tersebut diperoleh dari sumber open source di internet baik yang gratis maupun berbayar. Namun, tidak semua simulasi tersebut sesuai dengan kurikulum atau konsep yang dibutuhkan oleh guru dan siswa. Pengajar dapat membuat sendiri simulasi yang menarik dan interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang gratis dan mudah digunakan seperti Visual Basic for Application Excel.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media simulasi interaktif pada materi gerak parabola. Prosedur pengembangannya menggunakan model three-D yang diadaptasi dari model four-D terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media simulasi interaktif dan perangkat pembelajarn berupa lembar kerja diperoleh hasil valid dan reliabel. Produk dalam penelitian ini, selanjutnya diuji coba dalam pembelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan persentasi respon penilaian peserta didik yaitu 86,7% yang berada pada katergori sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media simulasi yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Namun pengembangan lanjutan perlu dilakukan agar diperoleh media simulasi yang lebih menarik dan lebih lengkap

    Trial of DC Submersible Pump 12 Volt 50 Watt with Solar Power and Relationship between Water Discharge and Storage Height

    One of the biggest problems for farmers in the dry season is the lack of water supply for irrigation. Currently, various types of pumps have been widely used, such as fuel pumps and pumps with PLN electricity. However, the costs required to operate these tools are pretty expensive. The solution to overcome this is using DC submersible pumps using solar panels as an energy source. The purposes of this study are to (1) determine the duration of operation of the DC submersible pump with the specifications of the battery and solar panels used, and (2) determine the productivity of the DC submersible pump in terms of the resulting discharge for various storage height conditions used. The research method used is an experimental research method using a quantitative approach. The results of this study are (1) DC submersible pump can operate for 240 minutes with 20 Ah battery at maximum voltage and uses 60 Wp solar panels, and (2) the height of the storage has an effect on the resulting discharge, there is a reduction in the resulting discharge every 0.5 meters increase in the height of the storage. Based on the analysis results, the maximum height limit for submersible pump push is 3.7 meters using a 3 per 4 inch hose. The results of this study can be a reference for farmers or users to determine the height of the water storage.DOI: 10.17977/um024v6i22021p06

    The Development of Student’s Worksheet of Physics Based on Virtual Simulation and Its Influence on Physics Learning Outcomes of Students

    Have been conducted the development research of student’s worksheet based on virtual simulation. The aims of this research were (1) to produce a physics students worksheet that was valid; (2) to improve physics learning outcomes of students by applying students worksheet that have been developed. This study was development using 4-D model which is covering define phase, design, develop, and disseminate to produce the student’s worksheet and the method was pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design by involving students of XII IPA 1 of SMAN 11 Unggulan Pinrang at 30 people. Physics learning outcomes collected by using choices test form instrument that was taken after students complete the assignments in student’s worksheet. The improvement of learning outcomes of physics evaluated according to the comparison of normalization gain value average, N-gain. The result of this research shows (1) student’s worksheet based on virtual simulation was valid. (2) the result of N-gain percentage to evaluate students shows that the implementation of student’s worksheet of physics based on e-learning can improve student’s learning outcomes in high level

    The Relationship between Students’ Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes through Guided Discovery Model Assisted Video and Interactive Simulation

    This study aims to (1) implement the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted Video and Interactive Simulation (GDM-VIS) in physics learning on the concept of statistical fluids; (2) identify the relationship between students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a pre-experimental research employing One Shoot Case Study design. The learning model and instruments that have been developed were used in a class of 38 students before the distance learning was applied. The data of learning motivation were obtained through motivation questionnaire, while learning outcome data were obtained by means of a conceptual understanding test instrument. To see whether there is a correlation between students’ motivation and learning outcomes, the Bivariate Pearson analysis with SPSS was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the value obtained based on the value or relationship (R) was 0.613. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.375, meaning that the effect of learning motivation with the application of GDM-VIS toward concept understanding is 37.5%. Based on the Output Coefficients, decision making in a simple regression test, and based on the significance value of the Coefficients table, it was obtained that the significance value was 0.00 0.05, which means that the application of the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted with Video and Interactive Simulation affects the students’ concept understanding. This study implies that the learning using simulations with systematic stages can improve the quality of learning

    Development of Physics Learning Instrument Based on Hypermedia and Its Influence on Concept Comprehension of Physics Student

    The aim of this research was to know the effect of implementation of learning instrument based on hypermedia on concept comprehension s of physics s with non equivalent posttest-only control group design. randomly. ICP as experimental class at 30 students was taught by using l hypermedia and Education Class A as control average of score in experiment class was 84,80% with deviation standard at 12,97 and variant at 168,42 whereas the average of score in control class was 51,29% with deviation standard 9,91 and variant at 247,64. From this case, we can conclude that the result of test of concept comprehension of physics student using learning instrument based on hypermedia is different significantly with physic Student's concept comprehension in experiment class is much higher than students in control class to the perception data, students agree with the implementation of learning instrument based on hypermedia and also it can improve students activity by reaching above 90% respectively. The implementation of learning instrument based on hypermedia is suggested to be developed in the other concepts in physics learning
