    EVALUASI TINGGI EMBANKMENT JALAN PADA TANAH LUNAK DIPERKUAT GEOTEXTILE DAN FONDASI CERUCUK

    Abstrak Kalimantan memiliki daratan rendah tanah lunak mencapai kedalaman 25 m. Tanah lunak memiliki kapasitas dukung rendah dan deformasi besar untuk menopang beban-beban. Infrastruktur seperti embankment untuk konstruksi jalan di atas tanah dasar lunak, biasanya direncanakan dengan suatu tinggi rencana, meskipun embankment untuk konstruksi jalan sering runtuh akibat lemahnya kekakukan tanah dasar tersebut. Ada beberapa pedoman teknik telah dipublikasikan bagaimana cara membangun embankment di atas tanah lunak, tetapi pedoman tersebut hanya menunjukkan prosedur kerja konstruksi, di mana ujung pangkal fondasi cerucuk seperti kayu atau bambu adalah diikat dengan cara konvensional. Konstruksi embankment harus memenuhi untuk kriteria stabilitas dan penurunan. Penelitian ini untuk pemenuhan persyaratan stabilitas seperti faktor keamanan embankment dihubungkan dengan kapasitas dukung tanah lunak dengan perkuatan untuk mengevaluasi tinggi embankment disediakan dengan beberapa formula empiris berdasarkan aturan geoteknik. Hasil simulasi perhitungan diperoleh tinggi embankment kritis Hcr sebesar 1,06 m untuk kohesi tanah cu sebesar 11,5 kN/m2 dan Hcr sebesar 1,70~1,73 m untuk kohesi cu sebesar 17,5 kN/m2 dengan fondasi cerucuk berjarak s sebesar 10D. Variasi susunan cerucuk berjarak s of 3,3D memberikan nilai signifikan kapasitas dukung batas dan konstruksi embankment lebih tinggi, hal ini adalah tidak memberikan nilai signifikan oleh indeks plastisitas tanah. Kata kunci: tinggi embankment, tanah lunak, geotextile, fondasi cerucuk  Abstract Kalimantan island has lowlands of soft soil in down depth 25 m. The soft soil has low bearing capacity and large deformation to support loads. Infrastructure such as embankment for road construction on the soft soil, it is usually planned by a height target. However, the embankment for road construction is often collapsed due to weak stiffness of soil subgrade. Therefore, the local government has been used geotextile and installed timber pile for reinforcing the soft soil.  There are several technique guidelines published how to build embankment on soft soil, but that guidelines are only shown the prosedure for working the construction. The soft soil installed timber pile perior to lay geotextile and construct an embankment. Where the top of cerucuk foundation such as timber or bamboo is tied by conventional system. The embankment construction have to satisfy for stability and settlement criteria. In this research, the stability requirement such as factor of safety of embankment is conducted by bearing capacity of soft soil with reinforcement to evaluated a critical height of its embankment, which is provided by several empirical formula based on rule of geotechnics. The simulation results were obtained critical height of embankmentt Hcr of 1,06 m for soil cohesion cu of 11,5 kN/m2 and Hcr of1,70 ~ 1,73 m for cohesion cu of 17,5 kN/m2 with cerucuk foundation on spacing s of 10D. Variation of rearrange of cerucuk spacing s of 3,3D are given significant values of ultimate bearing capacities, and more heighly of embankment construction, it is not given a significant value by plasticity index of soil. Keywords: Embankment height, soft soil, geotextile, cerucuk foundatio

    The Effect of Shape Test in History Subject

    The objective of the research is to find out the effect of the formative test form, learning style, and the students' achievement in history by controlling the students' reasoning capacity. Research data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed by using the Analysis of Covariate (ANACOVA). The research result after controlling the students' reasoning capacity shows that: the students'achievement in history for group of students who was given the essay test is higher than that of the students which was given the multiple choice test, the students' achievement in history for group of students who tended to apply lateral thinking style is higher than that of the students applying the vertikal thinking style, there is an interaction effect between the formative test and the thinking style on the students' achievement in history, the students' achievement  in history for group of students who tended to apply the lateral thinking style and at the same time was given the essay test is higher than that of the students who were given the multiple choice test,  the students' achievement in history for group of students who tended to apply the vertikal thinking style and same time were given the essay test is lower than that of the students who were given the multiple choice test, and the students'  achievement in history for the students who applied the lateral thinking style and at the same time were given the essay test is higher than that of the students who applied the vertikal thinking style

    AbstractThe low level of community welfare and poor environmental quality are almost the same problems for all settlements in rural areas. A bad environment can be identified by looking at the aspects that affect the quality of the shelter, such as clean water networks, drainage, solid waste, sanitary facilities, density and poverty levels. The purpose of this research is to find out people's perceptions and attitudes towards healthy lifestyles related to the use of good toilets. The data analysis technique was used to determine the relationship between variables using Chi-Square Test Analysis. It can be seen that from some of the question items used as variables in this study, there are no variables that have Asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 and it can be concluded that based on the answers from a number of respondents more variables are acceptable and it can be concluded that the respondents' answers relate to several aspects of the later use of the MCK. So from these answers it can be concluded that the respondents prefer the answer "yes" with an overall percentage of 85%, which means that each question variable in the questionnaire is correct, so the characteristics of the Pinggirpapas Village community have met the standard in the category of understanding, being aware and able to change. improper behavior.  AbstrakRendahnya tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat serta kualitas lingkungan yang buruk merupakan permasalahan yang hampir sama bagi seluruh permukiman daerah pedesaan. Lingkungan yang buruk dapat diidentifikasi dengan melihat aspek-aspek yang yang berpengaruh pada kualitas hunian tersebut seperti jaringan air bersih, drainase, persampahan, fasilitas MCK, tingkat kepadatan dan kemiskinan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui persepsi serta prilaku masyarakat terhadap pola hidup sehat terkait dengan penggunaan MCK yang baik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara variabel dengan menggunakan Analisis Chi-SquareTest. Dapat diketahui bahwa dari beberapa item pertanyaan yang dijadikan variabel dalam penelitian ini tidak terdapat variabel yang memiliki nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan pada jawaban dari sejumlah responden lebih banyak variabel yang dapat diterima dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa jawaban responden berkaitan dengan beberapa aspek dalam pennggunaan MCK nantinya. Sehingga dari jawaban tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa responden lebih banyak memilih jawaban “ya” dengan persentase keseluruhan sebesar 85 % yang berarti masing-masing variabel pertanyaan pada kuesioner tersebut benar, jadi Karakteristik masyarakat Desa Pinggirpapas sudah memenuhi standart dalam kategori mengerti, sadar dan sanggup untuk merubah prilaku yang tidak benar

    Character education discourse in Indonesia is still an important study that needs to develop along with the emergence of increasingly complex and complicated social problems. This study aims to explain the implementation of character education during the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular about the opportunities and challenges of implementing character education in three religious-based high schools in East Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of character education in the three high schools that became the locus of this research has in common the dominant challenges that emerged during the covid 19 pandemic, namely order and student discipline in online learning that have not been optimal. Although there are similarities in challenges, each of these schools has differences, especially in terms of efforts to develop character education in each school itself. The difference in efforts to develop character education based on the existence of educational institution resources such as teacher human resources, school finance, technological infrastructure, student readiness and the existence of parental support in each school.ABSTRAKDiskursus pendidikan karakter di Indonesia masih menjadi kajian penting yang perlu dikembangkan bersamaan dengan munculnya masalah sosial yang kian kompleks dan rumit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan implementasi pendidikan karakter dimasa pademi covid 19, khususnya tentang peluang dan tantangan implementasi pendidikan karakter di tiga SMA berbasis keagamaan di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di tiga SMA yang menjadi locus riset ini memiliki tantangan yang dominan muncul dimasa pandemi covid 19 yaitu ketertiban dan kedisiplinan siswa dalam pembelajaran daring yang belum optimal. Kemudian dalam hal upaya mengembangkan pendidikan karakter di masing-masing sekolah dilatari oleh keberadan sumber daya lembaga pendidikan seperti SDM guru, finansial sekolah, sara-prasarana teknologi, kesiapan siswa dan keberadaan dukungan orang tua siswa di masing-masing sekolah

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setelah mengontrol kemampuan penalaran siswa bahwa: hasil belajar sejarah pada kelompok siswa yang diberi tes bentuk tes esai lebih tinggi dari pada tes bentuk pilihan ganda, hasil belajar sejarah pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya berpikir lateral lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya berpikir vertikal, terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara bentuk tes formatif dan kecenderungan gaya berpikir terhadap hasil belajar sejarah, pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya berpikir lateral hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa yang diberikan tes bentuk esai lebih tinggi dari pada bentuk pilihan ganda, pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya berpikir vertikal hasil belajar tes esai lebih rendah dari pada tes pilihan ganda, dan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki gaya berpikir lateral lebih tinggi dari pada gaya berpikir vertikal yang menggunakan tes esai

    The problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction on student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of student learning motivation, the relationship between the direct instruction model and the student learning motivation, and the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction towards the students' learning motivation in history subjects in class X MAN 2, Palu city. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is 250 students. Sampling was done by random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used was correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a strong relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of learning motivation with a sig value of 0.002, the relationship between direct instruction models and learning motivation also showed a strong relationship with a sig value of 0.048, while the relationship between problem-basic learning models. -learning and direct instruction on history learning motivation obtained a strong relationship with a value of 0.7484

    This research aims to; (1) describe the ability of teachers in designing and evaluating learning through the 2013 curriculum in Class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi; (2) knowing the ability of teachers to implement learning strategies through the 2013 curriculum in class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi. 3) determine the impact of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on student learning outcomes in class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis. The results obtained are: 1) The ability of teachers in designing planning for the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SMAN 2 Sigi, teachers are able to link basic competencies, learning materials, learning activities, indicators of competency achievement, assessment, learning resources and the application of information and communication technology that they design in one wholeness learning experience. 2) the ability of teachers to implement learning strategies through the 2013 curriculum using direct learning strategies and indirect learning strategies. 3) the impact of applying the 2013 curriculum to student learning outcomes is the value of student semester exam results on average by more than 70%, this is because teachers use scientific approach models, project based learning, discovery learning, and various forms of strategies to improve student learning outcomes

    KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN NELAYAN TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI DESA LERO KECAMATAN KABUPATEN DONGGALA

    This study aims to analyze (1) the level of income of fishermen in Lero Village and Lero Tatari Village, Sindue District, Donggala Regency and (2) the contribution of fishermen's income to children's education in Lero Village Sindue District, Donggala Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaire and in-depth documentation with the results of the study. The data analysis technique is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS Version 16. Statistical program The results of this study are that the income level of fishermen in Lero Village shows a low income level of 29.3%, at a moderate income level of 46.3%, at a high income level of 14.6% and at a very high income level of 9.8%. The level of education of children at the elementary level is 41.2%, the level of education of children at junior high school level is 16.3%, the level of education of children at the high school level is 29.1%, and the level of education of children at tertiary level is 10.5%. The contribution of fishermen's income to children's education in the village of Lero obtained X ^ 2 tables of 16.919 and X2 2 counts for 70,960 and was determined using the contribution formula (X2 2 count-X ^ 2 table) X 100% (Contribution = 70,960-16,919 = 54,041 X 100% = 54,041%). Fishermen's income contributes to children's education by 54.041%, the remaining 45.959%
