Pesantren and the Preservation of Islam Nusantara

This article describes the background of the rise of an Indonesian moderate Islamic understanding in the midst of a trans-national Islamic movement with the scriptural-puritanical in it's character which spread out pervasively in the country; and this new Islamic model is intolerant to local traditions. Meanwhile, historically, Islam Nusantara has been deeply rooted among the Moslems in archipelago, and this traditional-moderate Islam has been developed by Wali-songo. Islam Nusantara is accommodative to the local cultures and traditions. It produces a moderate and tolerant model of Islam. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Berbasis Karakter Untuk Meningkatan Nilai-nilai Afektif Di Sekolah Dasar

: This research aims at developing character-based physical education teaching and learning module to provide the students with an opportunity to learn affective values. To achieve the target, this research and development study was organized in five stages: conducting product analysis, designing the the initial product, expert validation, small scale try-out, product revision, and large scale try-out. The learning modul was validated by the experts on charracter education and physical education teaching and learning in elementary school. The research subjects were Grade V elementary school students. The small scale try-out was done to 60 students in three elementary schools, while the large scale was conducted in six elementary schools involving 120 students. The research instrument was self-prepared observation sheet or the product evaluation sheet. The data were analyzed using a descriptive statistic analysis. The research product consisted of teaching and learning module developed in two forms. The students\u27 responses after using the module shows that most of them were able to use the character-based physical education teaching and learning module developed

Pengetahuan Guru Tentang Nilai-nilai Karakter Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Sekolah Dasar

: The main goal of research was to identify character values in the physical education (PE) teaching and learning. This was a descriptive research study using a mixed quantitative and quailtative approach. The population consisted of 144 teachers and 60 PE teachers were selected as the sample using a cluster random sampling as the sampling technique. The instruments used were observation sheet and interview guide. The result of the research shows that: (1) the PE teachers\u27 pedagogical competence in writing Lesson Plans (RPP) containing character vision was still low; (2) the PE teachers\u27 understanding about character teaching and learning was good; (3) the description about character inclusion in PE practice in elementary school was not clear; (4) the prototype character values at PE comprised: cooperation, sportsmanship, honesty, justice, care, responsibility, respect, firmness, friendliness, competitiveness, perseverance, togetherness, empathy, and resistance

Automatic Transfer Switch (Suatu Tinjauan)

— Sumber tegangan listrik utama yaitu PLN (Pembangkit Listrik Negara) tidak selamanya kontinyu dalam penyaluranya, suatu saat pasti terjadi pemadaman yang kemungkinan dapat disebabkan oleh gangguan pada sistem transmisi atau sistem distribusi. Untuk mengantisipasi dari pemadaman tersebut, perlu didesain sebuah kontrol otomatis yang disebut ATS (Autamatic Transfer Switch). Automatic Transfer Switch adalah sebuah rangkaian kontrol sakelar Power Inverter dengan PLN yang sudah Full Automatic. Alat ini berguna untuk Menghidupkan, dan Menghubungkan Power Inverter ke Beban secara otomatis pada saat PLN padam. Pada saat PLN hidup kembali, alat ini akan Memindahkan sumber daya ke Beban dari Power Inverter ke PLN. Media Audio Visual Akuatik Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Renang

The aim of this classroom action research is to improve the quality of aquaticlearning for FIK undergraduate student. The samples of research are sixty D-II PGSDphysical education program. The research methods used are descriptive analytictechnique and analytic data process consisting of: (1) describing data, (2) validity ofdata, and (3) interpretation of data. The steps of research process are: (1) preparation,(2) process: planning, acting, observing, reflecting, (3) conclusion. The acting preparationsof the research are three cycles. The result of that audio visual can improve theresearch showed quality of aquatic learning for D-II PGSD physical education program.In the first and second cycle, the qualities of aquatic learning were still low. The thirdcycle, the qualities of aquatic learning were improve by playing compact disk audiovisual of kind of swimming
