This article deals with the issue of working out and incorporating in educational process of higher educational institutions of the innovative technology for developing skills of critical thinking for the future Management specialists. The research is aimed at revealing both theoretical and practical ideas about critical thinking development in English language teaching. To enhance critical thinking in learners, foreign language teachers use various methods and techniques, consequently there have been described the following methods such as “Lead-in”, “Socratic Questioning”, “Business role play”, “Active reading”, and “Translation”. The use of the above methods by foreign language teachers in classes contribute to the development of critical thinking among students and motivate them for learning a foreign language, as well as making the study process be possible to turn from routine work into interactive, interesting and challenging activities. This article deals with the issue of working out and incorporating in educational process of higher educational institutions of the innovative technology for developing skills of critical thinking for the future Management specialists. The article presents a study of the corruption perception and the involvement of SMEs in corruption practices. The main goal of the paper is to provide an analysis of corruption perception of the SMEs representatives, its parts and research methodology to provide an adequate picture and analysis of corruption of the Kazakhstan. For obtaining a comparative picture, we interviewed 500 representatives of SMEs and 500 civil servants. We used a mass survey (face-to-face) method. The results show that the presence of “gap” between perception of corruption and degree of the respondents’ involvement in corrupt practices. The respondents believe that corruption is widespread, but they themselves were rarely involved in corrupt practices. The key message is that the SMEs representatives consider this problem to be acute, but they are not ready to talk about their own experience in this regard

Complementary information on the biology of Bactrian camels (Camelus bactrianus) in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan

The morphometric body parameters of male and female Bactrian camels, Kazakh Bactrian, were studied. Compared to camels of other breeds, the Kazakh Bactrian turned out to be one of the largest camels, having up to 750 kg for males and 690 kg for females, as well as powerful musculature and thick fur. Sexual dimorphism in body size and weight of males and females has been shown. The height at the withers of males was higher than in females by about 3.2 %, oblique length of the trunk by 4.5 %, chest girth by 1.3 %, and tibia girth by 6.6 % higher than in females. The greatest difference was in the live weight of the animals - 23,4 %. A histological study of one of the important internal organs - kidneys - was carried out, which allow camels to adapt to the conditions of waterless deserts. As a result of histological study of the kidneys of Kazakh Bactrians, the following characteristics of camel kidneys were established: the kidney capsule is rather thick (470±12 μm) and is made up of two layers: a layer of collagen fibres (400 μm) and thin (70 μm) inner smooth muscle cells. The relative thickness of the capsule and the presence of the smooth muscle cell layer within it appear to be related to the kidney’s ability to hold high intrarenal pressure while producing highly concentrated urine. The second feature of the Bactrian kidney was that the medullary layer was much thicker than the cortical layer. Their ratio was 1:4. The thick cerebral layer in camels provides relatively long renal tubules and loops of Henle, which are essential for the excretion of concentrated urine

Thermodynamic Simulation of Simultaneous Extraction of Metals During Waste Processing Industry

The depletion of ores, a rise in the cost of their extraction, enrichment and processing led in the last 10‒15 years to a sharp rise in prices for tungsten products. Therefore, the processing began to involve technogenic waste ‒ dumps of enrichment factories and metallurgical industries, which previously did not represent the commercial interest on this case, we present the information on the results of the thermodynamic modeling of tungsten and bismuth chloride distillation in the processing of industrial waste using NaCl as a chlorinating agent. To calculate thermodynamic models for the associated extraction of tungsten and bismuth from industrial wastes, the ASTRA-4 software complex was used which created on basis of the maximum entropy of all possible reactions occurring during the retrieval of refractory metals from waste. Thus, the calculations carried out and experimental studies of the main provisions of thermodynamic calculation have shown the possibility of using NaCl salts for bismuth chlorination. At the same time, the maximum degree of sublimation of bismuth not be lower than 98% and can be achieved even at a temperature of 1200 K and a pressure of 0.01–0.1 MPa. At the same time, NaCl is not an effective chlorinating agent for retrieving of tungsten during high-temperature processing of industrial wastes

Self-Propagating High Temperature Synthesis of Composition Materials using Mineral Raw Materials

The possibility of obtaining multicomponent refractory composition materials on the basis of quarts containing raw material by SHS method was studied. The use of a modifying carbon additive in the form of graphite power, carbonized rice husk, apricot stones and shungit was considered. It is shown that a complex use of preliminary mechanochemical activation (MA) and modification of the charge mixture with carbon containing additives contributes to formation of carbide and nitride phases in synthesis products

Innovation of Tourism Supply Chain Management: A New Agenda for Optimization. The Case of Kazakhstan

Despite the recognition of tourism as a priority sector, the development pace and indicators remain low. Innovation management methods are required that will positively affect the entire industry. The main article goal is to identify the problems of tourism sector development for the positive effects achievement and the system transition to a new, qualitative one, as well as identifying barriers and constraints. The problems raised by the authors in the article require comprehensive study and analysis. The authors conducted a comparative analysis of travel and tourism competitiveness index of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017 and 2019 years. The authors also analyzed the main indicators of the development of the tourism sector, financial and economic activities of tourism companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan, studied the tourism potential of Nur-Sultan city and Akmola region. As a result of the conducted research, conclusions are drawn, and recommendations are given

The functioning of any organization, in particular public administration, directly depends on the staff. Ineffective implementation of the employees’ work potential leads to economic unprofitability of projects, as well as to their half-way implementation. The article examines the hypothesis on the subject of influence of public servants’ motivation on the effectiveness of the state support for entrepreneurship. A survey for public servants of local executive bodies responsible for the implementing of the state program "Business Roadmap 2020" in Kazakhstan was held to achieve this goal. In November 2016, the survey was conducted among 158 public servants from fourteen regions and two cities of RESUMEN: El funcionamiento de cualquier organización, en particular la administración pública, depende directamente del personal. En noviembre de 2016, la the republican significance, who were responsible for the development of entrepreneurship. The statistical analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS program (21 version). The analysis and synthesis of the native and foreign scientists’ researches on the subject of the study was carried out as a theoretical basis. As a result of the survey the main motivational factors for public servants, who were responsible for the development of entrepreneurship, were identified. There are a number of serious problems in the organizational culture and motivational system, which have an impact on the employees’ effectiveness of public authorities in the sphere of the development of entrepreneurship. There are some practical recommendations which are offered to improve the motivational level for public servants, who are responsible for the development of entrepreneurship
