Bubbling and bistability in two parameter discrete systems

We present a graphical analysis of the mechanisms underlying the occurrences of bubbling sequences and bistability regions in the bifurcation scenario of a special class of one dimensional two parameter maps. The main result of the analysis is that whether it is bubbling or bistability is decided by the sign of the third derivative at the inflection point of the map function.Comment: LaTeX v2.09, 14 pages with 4 PNG figure

The stipulation of electronic services, such as Transactional, Non-transactional, Financial institution administration, Management of multiple users having varying levels of authority and Transaction approval process, by banking organizations evolves and spreads with the introduction of enhanced communication technologies.  Though, this novel business occasion for the provision of banking products and services increases the need for security, especially due to the sensitive nature of the information exchanged.  The specific nature of Internet banking systems creates the necessity for focused facts on security issues to be able to successfully demeanor an assessment or security evaluation process.  More specifically, the information systems (IS) auditor should have the necessary technical and operational skills and knowledge to carry out the review of the technology employed and risks associated with Internet banking.  Following this requirement, this paper presents a novel authentication approach to provide security to the end users.  This proposed system, Analysis of Text-Based Authentication using Images in Banking System (ATBAIBS) provides great value in terms of convenience, customer intimacy, time saving, inexpensiveness and coherence in banking sectors

From the 300 respondents, 43 responses were rejected because the response is not clear, so a total of 257 responses are taken. By using a 5-point Likert scale, the questionnaire was prepared.   Finding: The relationship between the team effectiveness, team performance, and empowering the leadership of the hypothesis are empirically tested. The result indicated that the empowerment and leadership of a virtual team enhanced the performance and productivity of a virtual team.   Research, Practical & Social Implication: The paper contributes to a better understanding of the internal processes within a virtual team in order to develop the effectiveness through Leadership and empowerment which increase the productivity.   Originality/value: Notwithstanding the inescapability of overseeing virtual groups, associations find it especially provoking for virtual colleagues to display and deal with their initiative ways of behaving

Dynamics of resonant optical waveguide semiconductor laser arrays

A propagation model is presented for the dynamics of antiguided semiconductor laser arrays. The model takes into account diffraction, carrier diffusion, spatial hole burning, and carrier‐induced antiguiding. Numerical results reveal a variety of spatiotemporal behaviors ranging from stable, quiescent operation to periodic and erratic intensity oscillations.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/71202/2/APPLAB-62-25-3226-1.pd
