    PENAMAAN HALAMAN DAN RUBRIK DALAM SURAT KABAR SOLOPOS (THE NAMING OF PAGES AND RUBRICSIN SOLOPOS NEWSPAPER)

    This article describes journalistics language variety of Solopos newspaper in naming the news pages. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data of this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences in Solopos newspaper published in March and June 2015. The data are collected using notes, then classified, and analyzed using contextual approach. The results showed that Solopos was a newspaper published in Surakarta that the pages contained news found around Surakarta areas , such as Solo, Wonogiri, Sragen, Klaten, Boyolali, and Sukoharjo. Solopos presented standard and nonstandard pages. The standard page were Headlines, Business Economics, Sports, Special Reports, and International news. All standard pages nomenclatures of Solopos used Indonesian language. The name of standard pages in Solopos newspapers consist of words and phrases. The name of non-standard pages used Indonesian language, local language (Javanese), and a foreign language (English). Solopos newspapers also put the rubric name to show its object or writing content. The Solopos rubric nomenclature also used Indonesian language, local language (Javanese), and foreign language (English)

    Studi Indikator Pengukuran Literasi Keuangan untuk UMKM Kedai Kopi Independen; Sebuah Literature Review

    This study aims to find a synthesis of journal publications related to standard indicators for measuring financial literacy in MSMEs that can be adapted to measure financial literacy in independent coffee shops. The research method used is a systematic literature review (SLR). The databases used are Google Scholar, Emerald, SAGE, and Taylor and Francis. The results showed that the measurements were carried out using item response theory (IRT), interviews, and secondary data studies. Aspec that is measured includes knowledge, awareness, attitudes, behaviors, skills, performance, investment instruments, and general information related to the macroeconomy. The researcher recommends conducting research to measure the level of financial literacy in independent coffee shops in Indonesia.   Keywords: financial literacy, SLR, indicators, independent coffee shop   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan sintesis dari publikasi-publikasi jurnal terkait standar indikator pengukuran literasi keuangan pada UMKM yang dapat diadaptasi untuk mengukur literasi keuangan pada kedai kopi independen.     This paper described the language choice used in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools)environment, namely Al-Itqon Pesantren, Bugen, Semarang. This research belongs todescriptive-qualitative research. The data of the research were in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences used by speakers in the pesantren. The data were takenfrom February to June 2016 and collected by recording and noting techniques. Next, theywere classified and analyzed by means of a contextual approach. The results of analysisshowed that the language choice in the traditional pesantren was local language(Javanese), Indonesian, and foreign language (Arabic)

    POLA PILIHAN BAHASA DALAM JUAL BELI DI PASAR TRADISIONAL (STUDI KASUS DI PASAR WINONG, KABUPATEN PATI)

    The research is aimed to describe the language choice patterns in purchasing at traditional market Kecamatan Winong, Kabupaten Pati. This research uses linguistics, sociology, anthropology and social psychology approach; in a frame of sociolinguistics study. The data of this research are utterance of the sellers and the buyers in traditional market Kecamatan Winong, Kabupaten Pati. The sources of the data are the sellers and the buyers in traditional market Kecamatan Winong, Kabupaten Pati. The data were collected using the methods of observation, recording, and interview. The data were analyzed by using contextual-sociolinguistics approach. The language choice patterns in purchasing in PW are: the single language of ngoko-Javanese tends to be chosen by the sellers and the buyers as much as 72.5%, madya-Javanese 7.5%, and krama-Javanese 20.5%. The restricted code tends to be used as much as 97.5 %. However, the elaborated code is only 2.5%. Pati dialect Javanese tends to be used as much as 75%, but the standard Javanese is only 25%. The code-mixing tends to be used more than the code switching that is 17 compare to 11 speech events

    PEMILIHAN BAHASA DALAM JUAL BELI DI PASAR TRADISIONAL KECAMATAN WINONG KABUPATEN PATI: KAJIAN SOSIOLINGUISTIK

    INTISARI Aspek-aspek kebahasaan dan konteks sosial di luar kebahasaan dikaitkan dengan kondisi kebahasaan di Indonesia merupakan topik yang menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan wujud kode pilihan bahasa, menjelaskan variasi pilihan bahasa, menemukan pola pilihan bahasa, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemilihan bahasa, dan mendeskripsikan fungsi bahasa dalam jual beli di Pasar Winong (PW), Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan linguistik, sosiologi, antropologi, dan psikologi sosial dalam kerangka kajian sosiolinguistik. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan lisan penjual dan pembeli di pasar tradisional tersebut. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual dan pembeli di PW. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode pengamatan observasi, rekaman, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan sebagai berikut. Pertama, kode yang berwujud bahasa dalam jual-beli di PW terdiri atas (a) bahasa Jawa dan (b)) bahasa Indonesia. Kode yang berwujud tingkat tutur terdiri atas bahasa Jawa ngoko, madya, dan krama. Kode yang berwujud ragam (style) terdiri atas ragam lengkap (elaborated code) dan ragam ringkas (restricted code). Kode yang berwujud dialek terdiri atas bahasa Jawa dialek Pati dan bahasa Jawa standar. Kedua, variasi pilihan bahasa dalam jual beli di PW berupa tunggal bahasa, alih kode, dan campur kode. Pilihan tunggal bahasa ditemukan pada penggunaan bahasa Jawa ngoko dan bahasa Jawa krama. Alih kode mencakupi alih kode dari bahasa Jawa ngoko ke bahasa Jawa krama dan alih kode dari bahasa Jawa krama ke bahasa Jawa ngoko. Variasi pilihan bahasa yang berupa campur kode meliputi campur kode bahasa Indonesia dalam bahasa Jawa ngoko, campur kode bahasa Indonesia dalam bahasa Jawa krama, campur kode bahasa Jawa ngoko dalam bahasa Jawa krama, dan campur kode bahasa Jawa krama dalam bahasa Jawa ngoko. Campur kode tersebut berbentuk kata, frasa, dan baster. Ketiga, pola pilihan bahasa dalam jual beli di PW mencakupi: pilihan tunggal bahasa Jawa ngoko cenderung dipilih Pj dan Pb di PW sebesar 70%, bahasa Jawa madya 7,5%, dan bahasa Jawa krama 22,5%. Ragam ringkas cenderung dipilih sebesar 97,5%, sedangkan ragam lengkap hanya 2,5%. Bahasa Jawa dialek Pati cenderung dipilih sebesar 75%, sedangkan bahasa Jawa standar hanya 25%. Adapun kecenderungan variasi pilihan campur kode lebih banyak daripada alih kode, yaitu 17 peristiwa tutur berbanding 11 peristiwa tutur. Keempat, faktor-faktor yang menentukan pemilihan bahasa dalam jual beli di PW meliputi: (1) status sosial, (2) usia, (3) tingkat keakraban, (4) tujuan tutur, (5) kehadiran peserta tutur lain (orang ketiga), dan (6) pokok tutur. Kelima, fungsi bahasa dalam jual beli di PW mencakupi fungsi informatif, fungsi ekspresif, fungsi direktif, dan fungsi fatis.     Employees’ Self-Worth: Psychological and sociological factors influencing job satisfaction

    This study aimed to examine whether individual self-worth influences job satisfaction through the mediating role of employee engagement at Kedai Ayamas, a convenience food store chain. Data were collected from 120 employees from Kedai Ayamas outlets throughout Malaysia. Questionnaires were developed and distributed via Google form link through emails. Perceived organizational support outperformed self-worth and value congruence in enhancing employee engagement and job satisfaction in convenience stores. Moreover, perceived organizational support makes employees feel accountable for the organization and helps it achieve its goals. The findings assist managers understand how employee engagement affects job satisfaction and view their personal traits.     Glosarium istilah kenelayanan di Jawa Tengah

    Topik ini menarik karena ternyata banyak ditemukan penggunaan istilah kenelayanan di wilayah pantai utara wilayah Jawa Tengah. Istilah-istilah yang digunakan para nelayan tersebut memiliki perbedaan dengan istilah yang digunakan masyarakat pada umumnya. Oleh sebab itu, demi pelestarian dan pelindungan istilah kenelayanan di Jawa Tengah, tim peneliti Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah berusaha mendata istilah kenelayanan di wilayah Jawa Tengah dan kemudian diterbitkan dalam bentuk buku ini (2017). Diharapkan buku “Glosarium Istilah Kenelayanan di Jawa Tengah” ini bermanfaat bagi pembaca, khususnya bagi para mahasiswa dan peneliti. Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah juga berharap agar hasil penyusunan ini berdampak positif pada penggunaan istilah kenelayanan di Jawa Tengah

    The purpose of this study, among others, first, is to analyze the laws and regulations concerning the right to choose illiterates in the 2019 simultaneous elections in the City of Singkawang. Second, for the evaluation of the legal aspects of the Election, specifically talking about the substance of the contents of the laws and regulations concerning providing assistance to illiterate voters. Third, to remind us together that the issue of the right to choose illiterates is an important issue that must be regulated in the election laws and regulations. The focus of the study in this paper is related to how to provide assistance to illiterate voters in the implementation of the 2019 simultaneous elections in Singkawang City. This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative method, meaning that the writer is directly involved with the resource person to reveal the social reality in the community. To obtain data the authors conducted observations and interviews. The findings can be concluded that illiterate voters cannot be provided with assistance when voting on the 2019 simultaneous elections in Singkawang City because there is no legal basis governing the provision of assistance to illiterate voters. So that the impact of the lack of legal basis, illiterate voters who come to polling stations and enter the voting booths, do not vote because of the confusion of the voters themselves.Keywords: Right to Choose, Illiteracy
