    IMPLEMENTASI PENGELOLAAN PROGRAM SHIMIN CENTER DI JEPANG DAN PUSAT KEGIATAN BELAJAR MASYARAKAT (PKBM ) DI INDONESIA

    This study examines the governance of Community Learning Centers (CLC) in 2 countries, namely the Shimin Center in Japan and PKBM in Indonesia. This study explores governance that includes program implementation in managerial aspects, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation functions carried out by Community Learning Centers in Indonesia and Japan. The theory underlying this research is the concept of lifelong education, the concept of community-based education and the concept of community education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique used in this research is through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interview, observation, literature study and documentation study. The research subjects were 6 people, where 3 people from Shimin Center and 3 people from PKBM. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the community learning center program both in Japan and in Indonesia in terms of aspects; a) program planning is always based on needs, formulation of objectives, program design, recruitment of facilitators and socialization and always refers to government policies; b) Implementation of programs developed by PKBM in Indonesia through a) Program Inputs (raw input, instrumental input, environmental input, process, output, other input and impact). As for the Shimin Center institution in Japan, it adheres to 3 main characteristics, namely the information center, a center for participation and self-actualization and is open to all ages and circles and is a place that guarantees freedom and equal rights, free services, has autonomy as a learning and cultural institution, has staff, is affordable (accessibility), adequate facilities and community participation; c) Evaluation of programs carried out by the Shimin Center in Japan and PKBM in Indonesia is carried out through evaluation of learning (formative and summative), evaluation of program services, personnel, and evaluation of educational unit institutions through unit quality assurance (accreditation). The evaluation carried out by the Japanese Government in managing the Shimin Center includes evaluation of learning carried out by volunteers/facilitators, in addition, evaluation is also carried out by asking for opinions from the community and community leaders.Â

    Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan perbaikan mutu bibit dan pupuk organik swakelola bertujuan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan dalam mengelola sampah. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa menerapkan teknologi informasi sebagai perangkat publikasi, sosialisasi yang dilakukan secara masif kepada masyarakat dengan aplikasi edu-environment akan memberikan kemudahan informasi bagi warga untuk selalu mengelola sampah dengan baik. Perancangan teknologi informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu permasalahan yang terdapat di masyarakat dan mengelola sampah serta menerapkan metode teknologi informasi agar memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah tersebut. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2022 di Kelurahan Kebun Bunga Kec. Sukarami Kota Palembang. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan dan menggunakan metode mix Method. Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, yaitu penyuluhan aplikasi, pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM berupa pelatihan pengelolaan sampah melalui aplikasi Edu-Environment di Kelurahan kebun Bunga Kec. Sukarami Kota Palembang, disimpulkan bahwa untuk pengelolaan sampah dengan melalui aplikasi Edu-Environment ini dapat membawa peningkatan pada masyarakat dan tentunya memberikan pemanfaatan dalam mengelola sampah dan membuat sebuah aplikasi yang bisa digunakan dan di terapkan di masyaraka

    Purpose: The aim of this research is to carry out an empowerment process in the Kebun Bunga village through the Edu-Environment application to increase public awareness of waste.   Theoretical Framework: The theory applied or used in this article is empowerment, training and use of the Edu-Environment application.   Design/Methodology/Approaches: This service activity is carried out using a mixed method or mix methods. Explains that mixed methods research is a research method that collects, analyzes and integrates both quantitative and qualitative research approaches.   Findings: This research shows a form of community empowerment, especially for people in Kebun Bunga who run a waste management program through the Edu-Environment application. This activity includes training and utilization of unused goods into items of sale value and can be utilized by the local community.   Research, Practical & Social Implications: In this study, the community can feel the benefits of having an edu-environment application to be able to manage waste and be able to make advantage of the information provided in the application and it is hoped that the community can use and apply it in their daily lives.   Implications/Originality/Values: For this study the implications that can be accepted by the community are being able to take advantage of the facilities of this edi-environment application to be able to obtain information about waste cleanliness and manage waste into goods with economic selling value

    Pentahelix Based Entrepreneurship Management at PKBM Asholahiyah

    Purpose: This study aims to find out how to manage the entrepreneurial potential of the village with the method of building cross-stakeholder cooperation (penta helix), then to improve entrepreneurship skills in an effort to improve the welfare of rural communities. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework used is entrepreneurship theory, pentahelix theory and community learning center (PKBM). Design/Methodology/Approach: This study uses a quantitative approach, namely research based on assumptions, then determined several variables through the right research instruments. The number of respondents was 30 PKBM students.   Findings: The results of the study show extraordinary results, meaning that the contributors have proven to benefit from this research, starting from the skill factor in mapping business capabilities, besides showing positive results, meaning that participants have proven to benefit from this research starting from the knowledge aspect of mapping business potential. , determination of marketing strategies, and business management techniques. Research, Practical & Social implications: The practical implication is that the program has succeeded in increasing participants' knowledge of the penta helix principle, the use of various media to market products, and the flow of entrepreneurial capital. loans for MSME development. Implications/Originality/Value: Furthermore, pentahelix-based entrepreneurial management has an impact on increasing the ability of entrepreneurship skills according to the entrepreneurial potential of the existing village, carried out systematically and sustainably, then managing appropriate marketing strategies, and business control techniques

    Derasnya arus perubahan saat ini, meningkatkan kualitas diri adalah sebuah keharusan. Artinya, pendidikan secara formal saja tidak cukup, jalur nonformal dan/ informal menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri sesuai dengan perubahan zaman. Kemudahan akses terhadap sumber-sumber belajar berbasis teknologi memungkinkan pembelajaran informal dilakukan banyak pihak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan  pembelajaran Informal Bagi Pengelola Taman Bacaan Masyarakat dalam memberdayakan masyarakat di TBM Sukamulya Cerdas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 3 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) ada beragam modus pembelajaran informal yang dilakukan para pengelola TBM, yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan enam literasi dasar; 2) pembelajaran informal merupakan pendekatan efektif dalam proses pemberdayaan TBM dan masyarakat; 3) Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) dapat berfungsi sebagai salah satu pendekatan dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran informal untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat

    THE RELATIONSHIP OF FAMILY LIFE EDUCATION AND CHILDREN’S LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT

    Family is the primary social institution, the first place where the process of education and learning for children occurs. Studies with various social and cultural backgrounds show that family factors have a significant contribution to children's learning achievement in school and their social-personal development. Sociologically, family has dimensions of structure and process. The research focuses on family process factors that significantly influence children's learning achievement in school. The study was involving 121 families who have 5th-grade elementary school children from two selected elementary schools to represent the characteristics of urban and suburban families. The data analysis was performed by Pearson Product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the process factors which consist of intimacy in family life, the ability to adapt families to changes and aspirations of parents in children's education, are factors that significantly correlated with children's learning achievement in school

     Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Assolahiyah Kabupaten Karawang Provinsi Jawa Barat melalui satuan pendidikan nonformal melaksanakan Pelatihan kewirausahaan yang kreatif dan inovatif. PKBM Assolahiyah sebagai lembaga yang berkomitmen untuk memberdayakan masyarakat memiliki inovasi dalam pengelolaan usaha sebagai produk yang dapat mengangkat perekonomian masyarakat ke arah yang lebih baik. Pengelolaan unit-unit usaha yang terpusat di PKBM Assolahiyah memungkinkan masyarakat sekitar untuk lebih fokus dalam memaksimalkan potensi lingkungan alam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdadyaan masyarakat melalui program pendidikan dan pelatihan Kewirausahaan di PKBM Assohaliyah melalui 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan, dan evaluasi pendidikan dan pelatihan yang sudah berjalan dengan baik dan manfaat sudah dirasakan oleh kedua peserta untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikirnya. tetapi juga mampu meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka dengan menciptakan usaha mandiri baru. Selain meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi, mereka juga mampu mengubah pola pikir menjadi lebih kritis dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya dengan tidak selalu mengandalkan bantuan pemerintah.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Pengelolaan Program, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan KewirausahaanAbstractThe Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) Assolahiyah, Karawang Regency, West Java Province, through non-formal education units, carries out creative and innovative entrepreneurship training. PKBM Assolahiyah as an institution that is committed to empowering the community to have innovation in business management as a product that can lift the community's economy in a better direction. Management of business units that are centralized in PKBM Assolahiyah allows the surrounding community to focus more on maximizing the potential of the natural environment. The results showed that community empowerment through the Entrepreneurship education and training program at PKBM Assohaliyah went through 3 stages, namely planning education and training, implementing education and training, and evaluating education and training which had gone well and the benefits had been felt by both participants to improve their thinking skills . but also able to improve their standard of living by creating new independent businesses. In addition to increasing economic income, they are also able to change their mindset to be more critical in meeting their needs by not always relying on government assistance.Keywords: Community Empowerment, Program Management, Entrepreneurship Education and Trainin
