Development of burdock leaves dense extract obtaining technology

    Get PDF
Optimum conditions of extraction have been selected and a technology for producing a thick extract from the leaves of burdock has been developed. The optimum parameters are: extraction with 40% ethyl alcohol in a ratio of raw material – the extractant as 1:7. The yield under the predetermined conditions is more than 25%, the quantitative content of flavonoids – 1.50%. In the future, it is advisable to standardize the resulting extract, which will create the preconditions for expanding the range of sources of raw materials for herbal remedies with anti-inflammatory action

Temporal Correlations of Local Network Losses

We introduce a continuum model describing data losses in a single node of a packet-switched network (like the Internet) which preserves the discrete nature of the data loss process. {\em By construction}, the model has critical behavior with a sharp transition from exponentially small to finite losses with increasing data arrival rate. We show that such a model exhibits strong fluctuations in the loss rate at the critical point and non-Markovian power-law correlations in time, in spite of the Markovian character of the data arrival process. The continuum model allows for rather general incoming data packet distributions and can be naturally generalized to consider the buffer server idleness statistics

    Get PDF
Purpose: At present, high and sometimes record indicators have been achieved for the individual branches of agricultural production. Further intensive development of agriculture is due to the search for new ways to increase labor productivity and lower production costs which is the main aim of this research. Design/Methodology/Approach: The methodological basis served as a systematic approach, which ensured comprehensiveness and purposefulness. Analytical, abstract-logical, economic-statistical, monographic and experimental research methods were also used in this work to examine problems and prospects of sectoral digitalization. Findings: The agro-industrial complex demonstrates the growth of production indicators and is on the rise. The target indicators, laid down in the Food Security Doctrine, have already been achieved by many indices. To a large extent, it is due to a significant increase in the agro-industrial complex. Practical implications: A proposed platform that would ensure a breakthrough in further technical modernization of production, can be created only if the technologies are improved based on their digitalization and orientation towards a specific consumer. Originality/Value: The pin-point introduction of digital technologies in agricultural production confirms the high efficiency of the full innovative technical modernization. The proposed digital transformation of management in the agro-industrial complex of Russia is the value of this research with its originality compared to other ideas.peer-reviewe

The paper presents the data of complex epidemiological analysis of infectious diseases from fecal-oral transmission. in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) from 2002 to 2011. We found increased levels of acute intestinal infections of unknown etiology, and. set against a background of reducing the incidence of dysentery. It was found that in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) the epidemiological situation is characterized by greater intensity in comparison with the Russian Federation. We identified area of risk for the incidence of acute intestinal infections and. dysentery in adult and. child population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

Random Walks in Local Dynamics of Network Losses

We suggest a model for data losses in a single node of a packet-switched network (like the Internet) which reduces to one-dimensional discrete random walks with unusual boundary conditions. The model shows critical behavior with an abrupt transition from exponentially small to finite losses as the data arrival rate increases. The critical point is characterized by strong fluctuations of the loss rate. Although we consider the packet arrival being a Markovian process, the loss rate exhibits non-Markovian power-law correlations in time at the critical point.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure

INTRODUCTION: Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) is a significant health problem in some parts of the world. Three major cytokines involved in TB immunopathogenesis include IL-2, IL-4 and IL-10. The susceptibility to MDR TB may be genetically determined. The aim of the study was to assess the association of IL-2, IL-4, IL-10 gene polymorphisms with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) in Ukrainian population. MATERIAL AND METHODS: We observed 140 patients suffering from infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis (PT) and 30 apparently healthy subjects. The patients were assigned to two groups whether they suffer or do not suffer from pulmonary MDR TB. Interleukin gene (IL) polymorphisms, particularly T330G polymorphism in the IL-2 gene, C589T polymorphism in the IL-4 gene and G1082A polymorphism in the IL-10 gene were studied through polymerase chain reaction. Circulating levels of IL-2, IL-4 and IL-10 in venous blood were estimated using ELISA. RESULTS: Prior to treatment, patients with PT showed significant increase of IL-2 levels and decrease of IL-4 and IL-10 levels compared to apparently healthy subjects. Circulating IL-4 and IL-10 levels were significantly decreased whilst serum IL-2 level was significantly increased in patients with MDR TB compared to non-MDR TB. Low IL-4 and IL-10 secretion and considerable IL-2 alterations were shown to be significantly associated with mutations of homozygous and heterozygous genotypes affecting C589T polymorphism in the IL-4 gene, G1082A polymorphism in the IL-10 gene and T330G polymorphism in the IL-2 gene in patients with PT. CONCLUSIONS: Heterozygous genotype and mutations homozygous genotypes gene in polymorphisms determining specified cytokines’ production is a PT risk factor and may lead to disease progression into chronic phase. Heterozygous genotype of aforementioned cytokine genetic polymorphisms was significantly the most frequent in patients with MDR TB.INTRODUCTION: Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) is a significant health problem in some parts of the world. Evaluation of wear and physical qualities of traditional and biodegradable polymeric films with Braille under vibrations

    Get PDF
Physical parameters of Braille elements formed on polymeric films including biodegradable ones were tested in the investigation presented in this paper. A separate Braille element is analyzed. Plane strain and axisymmetric problems are investigated. At the places of maximum equivalent stresses deterioration of quality of material of a Braille element is expected. Equivalent stresses are used for determination of the number of cycles till the start of wear at the surfaces of the Braille element when the film performs vibrations according to the eigenmode. Graphical representations are obtained. The results of performed investigations are used in the process of interpretation of measurements of wear of vibrating Braille elements
