An Approach of Stipulation Change Management Using Cloud Computing

    Get PDF
Every technology project's successful implementation depends on the requirements. Changes in stipulations at any point of the software development life cycle are considered a healthy operation. Nevertheless, this transition is a little simpler in a co-located setting than in a decentralized system in which participants are spread over more than one area. This presents numerous challenges, such as coordination, communication & control, effective and efficient management of changes and the management of central repositories. Cloud computing can therefore be used to mitigate these stakeholder problems. We used a case study to test the system of cloud computing

Applying Three Port Converter with Dual Battery Storage System for Hybrid Power Generation

    Get PDF
640-646The proposed research work used three power sources, namely wind energy, solar energy and grid. Wind and solar constitute the primary energy sources while the grid acted as the secondary one; added to that, we have the battery storage system. The priority between the two forms of energy in the primary source is determined by their availability. The solar irradiance is available during daytime, whereas during cloudy and night times, energy extraction is impossible; besides that wind energy is also not reliable. Thus the central level controller (CLC) is used, which serves as a deciding authority for the selection of primary source. When none of the energies in the primary sources are available the grid supplies the required power to the load. When there is a surplus energy from primary sources, it is stored in a battery or exported to the grid. In addition DBSS is also introduced for effective utilization of battery storage system. The proposed model is connected with micro grid to provide utilization path for surplus power. The overall design and simulation is performed by using MATLAB/SIMULINK

Tensile Properties of Martensitic Stainless Steels at Elevated Temperatures

Tensile properties of quenched and tempered martensitic alloys EP-823, HT-9, and 422 were evaluated at temperatures ranging from ambient to 600 °C as a function of three different tempering times. The results indicated that the yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and the failure strength were gradually reduced with increasing temperature. The ductility parameters were enhanced at elevated temperatures due to increased plastic flow. However, the tempering time did not significantly influence these properties. The evaluation of the fracture surfaces by scanning electron microscopy revealed reduced cracking and dimpled microstructures, indicating enhanced ductility at higher testing temperatures

Large spontaneous exchange bias in a weak ferromagnet Pb6Ni9(TeO6)5

We report the magnetic and dielectric behavior of Pb6Ni9(TeO6)5, a new compound comprising the honeycomb-like layers of S=1 spins, through detailed structural, magnetic and dielectric investigation. An antiferromagnetic-type transition at 25 K (TN) with weak-ferromagnetic behavior is revealed. Interestingly, a large value of coercive field of 1.32 T at 2 K is observed. The isothermal magnetization after zero-field-cooled condition, it exhibits the presence of large spontaneous exchange bias (SEB) with a magnitude of 0.19 T at 2 K; which is rare in single bulk materials, especially without external doping. The value of |HEB| further enhances to 0.24 T under 16 T field-cooled condition, confirming the presence of large exchange bias in the material. In addition, the dielectric constant shows an anomaly at the onset of TN, indicating the presence of magnetodielectric coupling.Comment: 16 pages, 6 figures, 2 supplimentory figures, under revision of Scientific Report

ABSTRACT A simple, rapid, and stability indicating reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic assay method was developed for pinaverium bromide in the presence of its degradation products generated from decomposition studies.LC separation was achieved isocratic mode on a Zorbax SB C8 (4.6x250) mm, 5 µm column using mobile phase containing solution A (0.1% ortho phosphoric acid) with solution B (acetonitrile) (30:70) (v/v) at flow rate 1.0 ml/min. The UV detector was operated at 245 nm and temperature was 25˚C. The retention time was 4.84 min and linearity was observed in the concentration range of 20-150µg/ml with correlation coefficient of 0.9999. The percentage relative standard deviation in accuracy and precision studies was found to be less than 2%. The method was successfully validated as per International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. pinaverium bromide undergoes degradation under acidic, basic, oxidation, dry heat and photolytic conditions, degradation impurities did not interfere with the retention time of pinaverium bromide, and assay method is thus stability indicating
