Objective. To study the health status of women from among the small-numbered indigenous peoples of the North (SIPN), including those leading a traditional way of life in camps and rural areas. Patients and methods. Using continuous sampling method, a prospective analysis of complaints, anamnestic, anthropometric, and laboratory data was carried out in female patients from among SIPN (Khanty and Mansi) living in rural areas and camps, as well as in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk. The comparison group consisted of women from the migrant population (Russians) living in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk. Results. The greatest number of health disorders was found among SIPN who migrated to the city in the first and second generations. Overweight was observed in 46.2% of women in this cohort, obesity was diagnosed in 19.2% of women. Heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding was the main cause of iron deficiency (11.5%) and iron deficiency anemia (IDA) (30.8%) in the group of SIPN living in the city. IDA of mild severity occurred in 19.2% of patients, and of moderate severity – in 11.5%. Conclusion. Iron metabolism disorders were observed in 42.3% of women from among SIPN who migrated to the city. Iron(III)-hydroxide polymaltose complex (Ferrum Lek®), which is used in the complex therapy of gynecological diseases (menstrual disorders) and gastrointestinal diseases, has high efficiency, good tolerability and the least number of adverse effects. This makes it possible to recommend it for the treatment of IDA and for the replenishment of iron stores in women in both SIPN and newcomer populations. © 2021, Dynasty Publishing House. This article examines the antique style and examines the features of the interiors of Soviet Russia in the period of 30-50 years. The aim of the work is to compare the features of the two periods and identify their similarities. To do this, we studied domestic and foreign scientific literature on this topic and materials with the use of media technologies. Then, on the basis of the collected and studied material, a comparative analysis was carried out, which allowed us to conclude that in the interiors of Soviet Russia in the 30-50 years, interior elements characteristic of the ancient style were used, especially those related to Ancient Rome.

The development of management of medical organizations providing specialized primary medical sanitary care to mental patients

    No full text
Actually, in Russian health care, the organization of community-based medical care of patients with mental disorders is considered as one of requested problems to be resolved. The in-patient substituting forms of specialized primary medical and social care for mental patients create optimal conditions for treatment and rehabilitation of this group of patients without separation from familiar social environment, that in many ways reduces "personality stigmatization" and promotes returning of individual to full-fledged social life, decreasing the load on the most expensive hospital care. One of such organizational forms implemented in Moscow under the new model of provision of mental care is out-patient mental module that provides specialized primary medical and social care and is tested in conditions of basic medical organization. Hence, the purpose of the study is to develop system of indices for continuous information support of management of implemented innovations

Objective. To analyze the role and character of tuberculosis (TB) among all respiratory diseases in HIV-infected patients treated in a therapeutic hospital Patients and methods. This longitudinal retrospective study included all consecutive HIV-positive patients with respiratory diseases (n = 185) treated in the Therapeutic Department of the City Hospital No 2 in Novokuznetsk in 2017–2018. Results. TB was diagnosed in 50 HIV-infected patients (27.0%) admitted to hospital. Median CD4 count was 124 cells/µL. Only 14.3% of patients were adherent to antiretroviral therapy. Sputum smear microscopy in TB dispensary was positive twice as often as in the therapeutic hospital (54.4% vs 23.4%). Abdominal lymphadenopathy was detected in 52.8% of patients examined, regardless of the pulmonary lesion pattern (p >0.05); 25.0% of patients were diagnosed with endobronchial TB. The main radiological syndromes of TB in the HIV-infected population included dissemination (52.0%), infiltration (26.0%), and intrathoracic lymphadenopathy (10.0%). Pleural lesions were identified in 28% of participants with TB and HIV coinfection. Conclusion. TB was the only cause of focal dissemination (100.0%, p < 0.001), while pleural lesions and intrathoracic lymphadenopathy were significantly more common in TB patients than in individuals with non-tuberculosis diseases (11.6% and 0.8%, respectively, p < 0.05). Hospital mortality rate among TB patients in a therapeutic hospital was 8.0%. © 2020, Dynasty Publishing House. All rights reserved

Minimum Information about a Cardiac Electrophysiology Experiment (MICEE): Standardised reporting for model reproducibility, interoperability, and data sharing

    Get PDF
Cardiac experimental electrophysiology is in need of a well-defined Minimum Information Standard for recording, annotating, and reporting experimental data. As a step towards establishing this, we present a draft standard, called Minimum Information about a Cardiac Electrophysiology Experiment (MICEE). The ultimate goal is to develop a useful tool for cardiac electrophysiologists which facilitates and improves dissemination of the minimum information necessary for reproduction of cardiac electrophysiology research, allowing for easier comparison and utilisation of findings by others. It is hoped that this will enhance the integration of individual results into experimental, computational, and conceptual models. In its present form, this draft is intended for assessment and development by the research community. We invite the reader to join this effort, and, if deemed productive, implement the Minimum Information about a Cardiac Electrophysiology Experiment standard in their own work.T.A. Quinn... D.A.
