    This study was a descriptive qualitative research aiming to describe the role of Social Capital for the poor farmer to sustain their household life. The subject of research consisted of poor farmers having a less-than-0.13 ha land conducted in RT 4 RW 6 Bulu II Hamlet, Randusongo Village, Gerih Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, East Java Province.This study was conducted using in-depth interview, observation, and library study techniques. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used was maximum variation sampling taken seven informants as the sample, consisting of four informants: poor old, very poor old, poor young, and very poor young farmers, as the case informant, while the key informant of research consisted of: elders of Randusongo Village, Carik/Secretary of Randusongo Village, and Head of Bulu II Hamlet. Key informant was also used as the instrument of validating the field data from the informant.The case informants were selected based on the criterion specified by Statistical Central Agency (BPS), that was, those belonging to poor family, while key informants were the village elders considered as knowledgeable and understanding about the daily condition of poor farmers because they domiciled in the same hamlet, and the village apparatus considered as knowing the poor farmers' condition because they often gave them service regarding Bantuan Langsung Tunai ((BLT= Cash Direct Grant) now called Bantuan Langsung Sementara Masyarakat (BLSM = Temporary Public Grant), Raskin (rice for poor people) and other services.The result showed that bonding social capital played an important role for the poor farmers in sustaining their household life. It could be seen from those helping their poor close relatives in meeting their daily life needs. Bridging social capital is the strongest out of the three social capitals existing because many poor farmer household could survive because of their close neighbor's help. Linking social capital did not play a role at al because such organization as PKK (Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga = Family Welfare Education) or organization at either RT or RW level in Randusongo village did not work thereby could not contribute to reinforcing social capital within the society

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan dan menjelaskan: (1) Perjuangan perempuan dalam membela ketidakadilan gender dalam novel Air Mata Terkhir Bunda karya Kirana Kejora; (2) Keadaan sosial masyarakat yang terdapat dalam novel Air Mata Terkhir Bunda karya Kirana Kejora, dan (3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan yang ada dalam novel Air Mata Terkhir Bunda karya Kirana Kejora. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis konten. Sumber data primer berupa hasil telaah dokumen novel air Mata Terakhir Bunda. Data sekunder jurnal internasional, buku-buku kajian feminisme, hakekat nilai pendidikan, serta wawancara terhadap pembaca. Prosedur penelitiannya mengikuti prosedur penelitian data kualitatif, meliputi pengumpulan data, melakukan dua tahap pembacaan sastra, menganalisis objek data penelitian. Data direduksi, penyajian data berdasarkan rumusan masalah, penarikan kesimpulan secara deskriptif, dan pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian novel ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) perjuangan perempuan dalam membela ketidakadilan gender dalam novel Air Mata Terkhir Bunda karya Kirana Kejora, Sriyani seorang ibu yang berhati baja, berjuang menghidupi kedua anaknya dengan berjualan lontong kupang serta menjadi buruh cuci dan seterika.Keperkasaan wanita itulah yang menjadi ratu di singgasana hati sang anak. Wanita yang dengan keserhanaannya mampu berjuang tanpa batas, untuk anak-anaknya yang harus diantarkannya ke gerbang perbaikan kualitas hidup. (2) Keadaan sosial masyarakat di desa Renokenongo, Sidoarjo Jatim, seorang kurban lumpur lapindo dan juga kurban penelantaran suami yang nikah sirih dengan janda kaya. (3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel adalah (a) nilai religius, (b) Nilai moral, (c) Nilai sosial, (d) Nilai Estetis / keindahan.     Pemberitaan Hoax di Media Online Ditinjau dari Konstruksi Berita dan Respon Netizen

    Media online/internet mempunyai peranan penting yang terletak pada kemampuannya untuk menyajikan berita-berita tentang perkembangan masyarakat yang bisa mempengaruhi kehidupan modern pada saat ini. Oleh karena individu diyakini sangat terpengaruh oleh pesan-pesan media mengingat media dianggap sangat kuat dalam membentuk opini masyarakat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori komunikasi, komunikasi massa, konstruksi berita, respon netizen, media online. Riset ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data online. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Kontruksi berita berpengaruh positif terhadap pemberitaan hoax di media online. Artinya konstruksi berita yang dimuat dan diciptakan oleh media online akan mempengaruhi penyebaran pemberitaan hoax di media online; (2) Respon netizen berpengaruh positif terhadap pemberitaan hoax di media online. Arinya semakin banyak netizen yang merespon pemberitaan hoax, maka peredaraan pemberitaan hoax akan lebih luas dan lebih liar tanpa berpedoman pada etika jurnalitik; (3) Konstruksi berita dan respon netizen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pemberitaan hoax di media online. Artinya kedua variabel tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dalam pemberitaan hoax di media online
