Остання характеризується вираженим розширенням та повнокров’ям венозних структур шлуночків серця, порушенням їх дренажної функції, що посилює гіпоксію та деструктивні процеси у міокарді, які домінують у правому шлуночку декомпенсованого легеневого серця
