The history of web is not so long. It’s only 20 years old. By January 1993 there were fifty Web servers across the world, by October 1993 there were over five hundred. Beginning from 2002, new ideas for sharing and exchanging content such as blogs and RSS (Rich Site Summary), rapidly gained its popularity on the Web. This new model for information exchange is called Web 2.0. Instead of using static HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) pages, nowadays there are a lot of the websites where you can actually change the content by yourself without editing the HTML, for example facebook.com, twitter.com, vk.com and much more others. In order to solve the problem of the choice of the performing repertoire, which will help to improve the quality of the educational preparation of the applicants, the article reveals the main varieties of technical difficulties for musicians who are not pianists by profession. It is outlined the circle of instructional and concert etudes that can be useful in overcoming technical difficulties and forming an artistic vision of works in the piano class at different stages of study. It is developed systematization of the educational material. It is provided comments and recommendations on the appropriateness of the use of the studies of any composers under study in the pedagogical practice. Thus, it is identified the most suitable piano etudes for the initial stage of education of the educational recipients; it is made a comparative analysis of the K. Czerny’s and M. Clementi’s etudes; it is relevant composer-defined works for the transition from instructional to concert etudes. It is analyzed and organized by types of piano technique the instructional etudes by K. Czerny, K. Leshkhorn, M. Moshkovsky, M. Clementi, J. Kramer, E. Zauer, V. Ziring, O. Gedike, R. Valashek, and concert etudes by F. List, F. Chopin, S. Rachmaninov

The Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Attachment and Mentalization in Sex Offenders

Adverse childhood experiences have been linked to dysfunctional attachment, increased likelihood of criminal behavior, and mentalization deficits. Mentalization, also known as reflective functioning, is core aspect of social functioning that involved the capacity to “interpret both the self and others in terms of internal mental states such as feelings, wishes, goals, desires, and attitudes.” This study looked at adverse childhood experiences, attachment, and mentalization in 93 registered sex offenders attending court-ordered outpatient treatment. This study revealed that sex offenders endorse significantly more adverse childhood experiences compared to the general population. It also showed that sex offenders exhibit lower attachmentrelated anxiety and attachment-related avoidance, indicating they perceive themselves as having less anxious and avoidant attachment. However, this finding may be due to their difficulty with perspective taking. The findings also revealed that sex offenders have significant deficits in mentalization and lower perspective taking abilities compared to the general population. This study explores the advantages of providing trauma-informed care to sex offenders using mentalization-based treatment

ALLOCHTHONOUS MARBLES IN HIGH-GRADE METAMORPHIC TERRANES (A CASE STUDY OF OLKHON TERRANE, WEST BAIKAL AREA, RUSSIA)

    Get PDF
Marbles are common constituents of high-temperature (HT) metamorphic terranes and shields. They have been traditionally considered as indicators of sedimentary or volcanic origin of related rocks involved into metamorphism which erases the primary features of the protoliths. This approach is correct in most cases, but carbonate and silicate-carbonate rocks, which often make linear bodies, may be allochthonous in some structurally and compositionally complex metamorphic terranes, as in the case of the Olkhon terrane.Marbles are common constituents of high-temperature (HT) metamorphic terranes and shields. This paper presents an encoding technique that is common for many different logic synthesis problems. It enables us to construct a system of Boolean functions, and then to decompose this system into sub-systems in such a way that a dependency of functions, included into each sub-system, on the respective arguments is reduced. For complex applications such type of encoding has a high computational complexity and the paper proposes a novel evolutionary algorithm for the solution of this problemIFIP International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Theory and Practice - Evolutionary ComputationRed de Universidades con Carreras en Informática (RedUNCI

Blood Lipids and Leptin Levels in Patients with Ischemic Heart Disease and Concomitant Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease after Treatment with Atorvastatin

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease which is regarded as an independent predictor of cardiovascular diseases plays a significant role in the development of ischemic heart disease. In patients with verified ischemic heart disease, hyperleptinemia causes hypertrophy of vascular smooth muscle cells, increases the synthesis of endothelial growth factor as well as the accumulation of reactive oxygen species in the vascular wall and leads to elevated expression of endothelin-1, which is also an indicator of its influence on vascular remodeling. Leptin is a predictor of a higher functional class of angina pectoris and heart rhythm disorders; it may be used as an indirect marker of systemic inflammation as well. Pathogenic basis for ischemic heart disease treatment is hypolipidemic therapy with statins as the medications of choice; in addition to basic hypolipidemic action, they improve endothelial function increasing nitric oxide synthesis possessing anti-inflammatory, anti-ischemic, antiaggregatory, antithrombotic and profibrinolytic action, as well as antioxidant and antiproliferative effects. The objective of the research was to study changes in blood lipids and leptin levels in patients with ischemic heart disease and concomitant non-alcoholic fatty liver disease after a course of atorvastatin. Materials and methods. 54 patients with ischemic heart disease and concomitant non-alcoholic fatty liver disease were examined; there were 26 individuals who did not take atorvastatin and 28 individuals taking atorvastatin at a dose of 40 mg per day for 3 months. All the patients underwent anthropometry, determination of blood lipids, leptin and liver transaminase levels, electrocardiography, echocardiography, ultrasound of the internal organs.Results. A significant decrease in the average level of total cholesterol (p<0.01), concentration of low-density lipoproteins (p<0.01) and leptin level (p<0.01) was detected in patients after 3 months of atorvastatin use. Moreover, there was detected a direct correlation between leptin level and triglyceride concentration, leptin level and the body mass index, leptin level and waist circumference, leptin level and hip circumference, as well as a high correlation between total cholesterol and low-density lipoproteins, and total cholesterol and the body mass index.Conclusions. The administration of atorvastatin to patients with ischemic heart disease and concomitant non-alcoholic fatty liver disease at a dose of 40 mg per day improves the patients’ general condition and promotes a significant decrease in the levels of pro-atherogenic fractions of blood lipids and leptin level, as well as promotes the reduction in risk factors for comorbid pathology and prevents the occurrence of its complications
