The timeliness of the present study is a consequence of the changing status of the Russian language in the global communication landscape. The growing international significance of Russian requires the development of new language teaching methods. This article aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of employing a blended learning approach to teaching “Russian as a foreign language” with the use of authentic speaking situations, and to show the relevance of interactive education to the teaching of conversational language skills. The primary research method for this problem is a practical method of interactive learning that allows students to hold a constructive dialogue. The author proposes a new pedagogical genre, “convergent lecture,” which takes a different approach to the instruction of foreign students. The article explains how students’ experience of acting out potential social roles in the Russian as a foreign language classroom develops their ability to speak pragmatically in everyday, professional, and educational contexts. The findings of this article may be helpful for scholars who develop educational programs for foreign students, as well as instructors interested in helping their students develop more practical communication skills in a foreign environment. © 2016 Evtyugina, Simonova and Fedorenko

The increasing wear resistance of parts is one of the main tasks of engineering. The achievement of stable parameters is a difficult task. It depends on capabilities of equipment, type of evaporator, interaction evaporator with the evaporating substance and deposition process. The control system must foresee and identify emerging cracks or damage of the system components. At every stage software of control process system must automatically make the optimal decisions based on information about the process. It also improves the efficiency of the operator. This article focuses on the results of using intelligent control system technological process

Identification of endoscopic signs of concomitant pathology of the upper gastrointestinal tract allows to determine the tactics of managing patients with different forms of portal hypertension (PG). The analysis of macroscopic picture of esophagus, stomach and duodenum mucosa was carried out in 104 patients with portal hypertension (88 patients with hepatic  portal hypertension, 46 – with extrahepatic portal hypertension, 16 – without  portal hypertension). The frequency of changes in the esophagus, specific for  gastroesophageal reflux disease did  not differ significantly in the researched groups. The frequency and severity  of varicose veins of the esophagus were diagnosed more often in patients with hepatic form of portal hypertension (OR=10.0, p<0.05). The predominance of different pathological changes of the gastric mucosa in patients with extrahepatic form of portal hypertension was revealed. Portal gastropathy in this group was 5.3 times higher than in patients with hepatic hypertension and 21 times higher than in the III group (without portal hypertension) (p<0.01). There were no significant differences of endoscopic picture of the duodenum  mucosa between the researched groups

The relevance of researched problem is caused by the society requirement to form and implement educational and creative potential of a student as a conductor of changes that set a high level of motivational behavior. The aim of this article is to develop a structural model of motivational behavior of students that allow carrying out modeling of specific characteristics and their practical application. The leading approach to the research of this problem is the provision of the theory of self-determination on basic needs that allow considering basics of intrinsic motivation. The results of the research are: the structural model of motivational behavior is considered in the article, the questions are selected and the questionnaire on educational motivation is developed for the poll of student's groups “Economy and Management”. The development and approbation of multi-profile software programs are “Students’ Questionnaire” to implement on-line poll or interviews with students on academic motivation. The results of the research can be useful for specialized structural divisions of the university, teachers, and also for the students in case of further research of the issues of academic motivation and individual educational paths. © 2016 Eremicheva et al

The Phenomenon of Fishing in the Context of Human–Northern Nature Interaction: Network, Vitality, Communication

Received 16 June 2023. Accepted 16 August 2023. Published online 6 October 2023.The article analyzes the fishing phenomenon in the context of interaction between people and Northern nature. An attempt is made to move away from a purely social aspect of considering the phenomenon and come to a broader, namely, network-related context of its understanding. The theoretical and methodological approach (theoretical framework) of the research team is based on: (a) the actor-network theory of French sociologist Bruno Latour and his conceptual studies on the history of understanding of “nature” that serve, directly or indirectly, as the basis for the modern Western ecological discourse; (b) Vladimir V. Bibikhin’s phenomenological reception of the Aristotelian understanding of living nature as a kind of perfect automaton, i.e., self-moving order of living matter change; (c) Yan V. Chesnov’s conceptual understanding of the phenomenon of “vitality” as part of the development of Nikolay A. Nosov’s virtual paradigm. At the empirical level, the research used the method of in-depth and expert interviews. A total of 27 semi-structured interviews were conducted in the spring and fall of 2022 in the Murmansk region. All the respondents were directly or indirectly connected with fishing practice: fishermen of the Murmansk region, including those who systematically violate fishing rules for the Northern Fishery Basin, employees of the territorial department of Rosrybolovstvo [Russian Federal Fisheries Agency], employees of Poliarnyi nauchno-issledovatel’skii institut morskogo rybnogo khoziaistva i okeanografii (PINRO) [Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography] named after N. M. Knipovich, representatives of local administration in the Tersky, Kola, and Kandalaksha districts of the Murmansk region, representatives of the tourist branch, etc. The interviews became the empirical basis of the research. This paper considers the popularity of informal fishing practices in the Murmansk region as an expression of existential and mental craving in response to the stimulating appeal, or even “challenge”, of nature. Accordingly, the researchers link the inherent desire of fishermen to catch fish for food, refreshment, and sale not so much with the sociocultural context, as with the natural (vital) desire to fulfill oneself as a natural being. The work understands the natural not as being in opposition to the social order, but as underlying and permeating that order. The research was carried out at the expense of the grant of the Russian Science Foundation No. 22-28-20435 “The phenomenon of fishing poaching on inland waters of the Murmansk region as a social practice and problem”, and with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Murmansk region under Agreement 111

The relevance of the analyzed issue is caused by the need to assess the state of competences and qualifications in the labor market in the region. The purpose of the article is the substantiation of approaches to the integrated monitoring training status, conditions of formation and use of labor, the results of which will complement the statistics. The leading approach to the study of this issue is the development of a new monitoring methodology to identify the qualitative characteristics of the labor force in the quantitative parameters. Results: the authors have developed conceptual approaches and structural elements of quality monitoring of labor at regional level. The identified shortcomings of existing competences and qualifications of monitoring techniques necessitated the search for other approaches to the assessment of the real state of the qualitative characteristics of the labor force in the labor market, as collected data can significantly affect the results of the personnel forecast and formation of labor potential management strategies. The study was proposed to focus on improving the quality of personnel management departments of large and medium-sized organizations in the region to solve the problem of the interaction between the education system and employers. The data of the article may be useful for research organizations and regional governance structures in the development of medium- and long-term development programs of labor potential. © 2016 Simonova et al

The presence/absence of a regional centre of additional education for children is going to be identified, as well as its official name, and the number of subordinate entities which implement additional educational programs in the corresponding Russian region in various areas: arts, sports, science, sociology and pedagogy, technical sciences, tourism and local history, intellectual games. The article could be of assistance for experts who study inclusion problems
