La revolución científico-técnica transforma a la ciencia en una fuerza productiva directa, convierte en realidad lo que no hace mucho pertenecía al mundo de lo fantástico. Pero la inmensa y creciente actividad del hombre reviste también consecuencias negativas. Con alarma e inquietudobservamos que un río, antaño caudaloso, se secó de súbito; que el pinar suburbano dejó de ser atractivo, que el ruido urbano se intensifica. El hombre y la naturaleza, dos palabras que saltan con frecuencia a las páginas de diarios y libros, las pronuncian en la radio y la televisión o simplemente en conversaciones. Y hay que señalar que hasta hace poco el término "ecología" lo conocía sólo un reducido grupo de especialistas. Preservar la naturaleza y además no reducir sino elevar su fecundidad a fin de que no sólo nosotros sino también las generaciones venideras puedan disfrutar de sus riquezas, es una de las tareas más importantes. Una tarea que no puede dejar a nadie indiferente. En este artículo se hace un análisis ingenieril a la relación naturaleza, átomo y hombre, con el objeto de esclarecer y, de cierta forma colaborar, para que los seres humanos comprendan que es una simbiosis necesaria para el futuro de la humanidad

Reputation Agent: Prompting Fair Reviews in Gig Markets

Our study presents a new tool, Reputation Agent, to promote fairer reviews from requesters (employers or customers) on gig markets. Unfair reviews, created when requesters consider factors outside of a worker's control, are known to plague gig workers and can result in lost job opportunities and even termination from the marketplace. Our tool leverages machine learning to implement an intelligent interface that: (1) uses deep learning to automatically detect when an individual has included unfair factors into her review (factors outside the worker's control per the policies of the market); and (2) prompts the individual to reconsider her review if she has incorporated unfair factors. To study the effectiveness of Reputation Agent, we conducted a controlled experiment over different gig markets. Our experiment illustrates that across markets, Reputation Agent, in contrast with traditional approaches, motivates requesters to review gig workers' performance more fairly. We discuss how tools that bring more transparency to employers about the policies of a gig market can help build empathy thus resulting in reasoned discussions around potential injustices towards workers generated by these interfaces. El servicio policial ha estado vinculado directamente con la ciudadanía, razón por la cual es vital conocer la percepción del servicio público del integrante de la institución. El propósito de la presente investigación se centra en tres grandes categorías deductivas: 1. Calidad de vida, 2. Resolución de conflictos y 3. Habilidades sociales.
