    Get PDF
An experiment was carried out to study the response of organic and inorganic fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of garlic (Allium sativum L.) cv. Yamuna Safed-3. The results revealed that the combined application of 25% RDF with 75% N through FYM @ 20 t/ha gave higher marketable bulb yield of 19.34t/ha as compared to other treatments which were statistically on par with 100% RDF (18.53 t/ha ) and 50% RDF + 50% N supplied as FYM (18.94 t/ha). It is suggested that for better biometric observations, bulb characters and marketable bulb yield in garlic, combined use of inorganic and organic source of nutrient supply is preferable

    Get PDF
Selection of Online Feature is significant important concept in data mining. Batch learning is the mostly used learning algorithm in feature selection. Instead of Batch learning, online learning is most efficient and scalable machine learning method. Most existing system studies of online learning should access the data related to features. But accessing all data becomes a problem when we deal with high dimensional data. To avoid this limitation we proposed system in this online learner allowed to operate a classifier having fixed and small number of features related data. But the significant challenge Selection of online features (SOF) is how to construct accurate prediction for a data using a small number of operative features. To develop novel Selection of Online Feature algorithms to perform a various tasks of Selection of Online Feature by using semi supervised and supervised with unlabeled and label data for full input and partial input. Hence it provides integrity and scalability to the data storage system efficiently and users will be accessing the data through online

Background: Drug utilization studies can provide insights into a pattern, quality, determinants and outcomes of drug use. COPD is one of the leading causes of death among Indian population and there is a lack of drug utilization studies in this field. Methods: A prospective, observational study was conducted among the patients admitted in inpatient department of medicine ward of Tertiary care hospital. Data has collected from COPD patients admission records. Parameters like demographic profile, common associated diseases, WHO core drug indicators and commonly prescribed drugs were assessed from the prescriptions. Results: A total 284 inpatient records were scrutinized. Out of 284 patients, 66.19% were male and 33.80% were female. Average numbers of drugs per prescription were 7. Mean age was 66.9 years. Antimicrobials (88.7%) were most commonly prescribed drugs followed by inhaled bronchodilators (84.5%).Conclusions: Study data highlights that average numbers of drugs prescribed were higher than WHO norms, antibiotics were commonly used, and drugs prescribed with brand names were higher than the generic names

The tremendous amount of data outsourced every day by individuals or each enterprises . It is impossible to manage or to store this complex data at individual level, as the chances of crash the system is more, and the system becomes the single point of failure. When we feel the need of storing the data in such a way that it can be accessed uninterruptedly, then there the cloud comes into picture to store the data with better flexibility and cost saving. As the data might be confidential or sensitive. Considering the privacy of the data over the cloud, for that searchable encryption can be used. At the time of retrieval of data, consider the multi-keyword search over outsourced cloud text data only as it can handle the exact keywork matching. Multi-keyword similarity search overcomes the problem of not finding any related documents on searching. while encrypting the data before storing it to the cloud will help to preserve the privacy of the files. Searchable encryption also enables searching without revealing any additional information. Using multi-keyword similarity search cloud returns the files containing more number of matches with user input keywords and similar keyworks. Finding the similarities between input keyword or similar keyword is done by edit distance metric algorithm. Final design to achieve the user privacy, and to speedup the search task. At cloud side Bloom Filter’s bit pattern is used to speedup and it is efficient in terms of the search time at the cloud side. This paper presents a review on various existing Similarity searching techniques

NiF2 nanorod arrays for supercapattery applications

    Get PDF
A electrode for energy storage cells is possible directly on Ni foam, using a simple reduction process to form NiF2 nanorod arrays (NA). We demonstrate NiF2@Ni NA for a symmetric electrochemical supercapattery electrode. With an areal specific capacitance of 51 F cm–2 at 0.25 mA cm–2 current density and 94% cycling stability, a NiF2@Ni electrode can exhibit supercapattery behavior, a combination of supercapacitor and battery-like redox. The symmetric electrochemical supercapattery delivers 31 W h m–2 energy density and 797 W m–2 power density with 83% retention in a 1 M KOH electrolyte, constituting a step toward manufacturing a laboratory-scale energy storage device based on metal halides. Producing self-grown hierarchically porous nanostructured electrodes on three-dimensional metal foams by displacement reactions may be useful for other metal halides as electrodes for supercapacitors, supercapatteries, and lithium-ion batteries

Evaluation of the effect of size reduction and thermal treatment on metal extraction from PCBs of mother board and digital video drive of desktop PC

    Get PDF
The study aims at evaluating the effect of particle size and thermal treatment on printed circuit boards (PCBs) of Mother Board (MB) and DVD on metal extraction. Results show around 90–95% (w/w) and 35–40% (w/w) of total Al and Cu respectively, in CPU could be recovered by systematized disassembly. Re-maining embedded Al and Cu require metallurgical or hydro-metallurgical processing. Cu extraction in-creases with size reduction. Thermal treatment of MB–PCB shows reduction in Cu extraction (23–38%) for all sizes in comparison without thermal treatment, while DVD–PCB showed surge in extraction after thermal treatment (41–141%) in comparison without thermal treatment

De novo variants disturbing the transactivation capacity of POU3F3 cause a characteristic neurodevelopmental disorder

POU3F3, also referred to as Brain-1, is a well-known transcription factor involved in the development of the central nervous system, but it has not previously been associated with a neurodevelopmental disorder. Here, we report the identification of 19 individuals with heterozygous POU3F3 disruptions, most of which are de novo variants. All individuals had developmental delays and/or intellectual disability and impairments in speech and language skills. Thirteen individuals had characteristic low-set, prominent, and/or cupped ears. Brain abnormalities were observed in seven of eleven MRI reports. POU3F3 is an intronless gene, insensitive to nonsense-mediated decay, and 13 individuals carried protein-truncating variants. All truncating variants that we tested in cellular models led to aberrant subcellular localization of the encoded protein. Luciferase assays demonstrated negative effects of these alleles on transcriptional activation of a reporter with a FOXP2-derived binding motif. In addition to the loss-of-function variants, five individuals had missense variants that clustered at specific positions within the functional domains, and one small in-frame deletion was identified. Two missense variants showed reduced transactivation capacity in our assays, whereas one variant displayed gain-of-function effects, suggesting a distinct pathophysiological mechanism. In bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) interaction assays, all the truncated POU3F3 versions that we tested had significantly impaired dimerization capacities, whereas all missense variants showed unaffected dimerization with wild-type POU3F3. Taken together, our identification and functional cell-based analyses of pathogenic variants in POU3F3, coupled with a clinical characterization, implicate disruptions of this gene in a characteristic neurodevelopmental disorder
