Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process Model For Determination of Service Quality in Telecom Networks
One of the commonly used methods for multi attribute decision making is analytic hierarchy process (AHP). During last two decades, the analytic hierarchy process has been successfully applied to numerous decision areas. The essence of AHP is in permitting the decision-maker to perform pair-wise comparisons of each of the factors or criteria -- one-on-one -- to derive overall priorities. These pair-wise comparisons may be stated verbally as in Criterion A is equally, moderately more, or strongly more important than criterion B. The adjectives likely or preferable may be substituted for important. These are converted to numerical values (generally in pre-specified range like 1 to 9) in the traditional, non-fuzzy AHP approach. The AHP method may be used for such decisions as selecting a single course of action from several, for priority setting, and for resource allocation. For the single decision-event, AHP\u27s use is based on the following assumptions, that for a significant decision, there are several courses of action (alternatives) available, from which one will be selected based on governing criteria, not all of which will be of equal weight

Electronic Health Records: Challenges and Opportunities
During the last three decades, healthcare expenditure in the U.S. has substantially increased. If this pace of increase is not controlled, it will lead to disastrous results for the healthcare system. An effective use of health information technology would not only improve the quality of healthcare but help reduce healthcare costs considerably. However, risks of privacy and security of patient electronic health records are great. It is recommended that healthcare organizations use IT management best practices, follow proper risk assessment and management guidelines, and keep up with latest technological advances to ensure the privacy and security of patient data

Knowledge-based simulation model for performance analysis and reliability of computer networks
Modeling and analysis of performance of computer networks is essential for ensuring smooth operation of an organization\u27s networks and preventing major failures. Mathematical analysis and simulation modeling are the common procedures for network system performance analysis. In this paper, a knowledge-based simulation model is developed that can be used for predicting network performance and reliability
Leader motivating language â The fuel for employee vitality
This study investigates the impact of organizational culture on employee vitality determined by leader motivating language. It is common knowledge that organizations are known for the culture they develop and maintain for their employeesâ well-being and vitality. The prime focus of learning organizations is to provide their employees with a vibrant culture where they feel comfortable and grow as professionals. Culture alone does not guarantee employee satisfaction and vitality â there are other factors that play a role. From all the different factors, in this study, leader motivating language is taken as a pivotal one, which can either disturb or improve employee vitality at work. The theoretical background is built on the motivating language theory, which provides a model, helping to understand how the language leaders use, that is, speech communication affects the organizationâs employees. A survey was conducted to collect data from various banks and multinational firms in Pakistan through random sampling â 270 responses from people working in these sectors, for which all the three variables, leader motivating language, organizational culture, and employee vitality, could be measured easily, were analysed. The respondentsâ average length of service in their company was nearly five years and their mean age was 26.2 years. The results of this study show that leader motivating language has a positive impact on employee vitality at work and strengthens the relationship between organizational culture and employee vitality
ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION OF BUSINESS STUDENTS IN PAKISTAN: MOTIVATIONS AND OBSTACLES
The aim of this study is to examine the entrepreneurial intention of Pakistani business students and the influence of motivators and obstacles of it. Total 637 final year graduates and post graduates business student of Hyderabad and Jamshoro districts participated in the survey. The data was accumulated through self-administrated questionnaires. To measure the reliability, CronbachĂąâŹâąs alpha and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality were employed. Descriptive statistics, principal component analysis, varimax orthogonal rotation method were used to analyze the data. The result showed low degree of entrepreneurial intention amongst business students in Pakistan. They prefer jobs as compare to establish their own business in near future but at the same time they have good intention to start their own business someday. Furthermore, the key motivators recognized by this study are autonomy and employment, whereas capital and risk are significant obstacles.Ă Ă
Arc GIS based Interpretation of Heavy Metals in Soil Samples near Coastal Areas of Badin, Sindh, Pakistan
This study was aimed to assess the severity of heavy metal contamination in eastern coastal area of Pakistan. Agriculture lands near district Badin coastal area found contaminated due to mega surface canal drain network, carrying untreated industrial and municipal effluents along with pumped saline water. Thirty-two random soil samples were collected from different coastal areas. Arc Geographic Information System was used for spatial mapping. Soil samples from coastal areas of Badin contain average concentrations of heavy metals (mg/kg) as Hg 0.247±0.207, Ni 2.622±1.107,Zn 3.121±0.929, Cu 0.059±0.066, Fe 70.447±1.163, Mn7.062±1.251, Co 0.0167±0.033,Cr0.799±0.718

Competition Kinetics: An Experimental Approach
In this chapter, free radical kinetics with the help of competition kinetics and some experimental results calculated by competition kinetics to find out the rate constant of reactive species (âOH, eaqâ, âH) with target compound, which is used by radiation chemists is briefly discussed. The competition kinetics method is well validated by taking ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and bezafibrate as example compounds. The bimolecular rate constants of hydroxyl radical, hydrate electron and hydrogen atom has been calculated for example solute species (ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and bezafibrate)
