    This research aims to find out the effect of fundamental factors bank as measured using the CAMEL ratio to changes the amount of deposits and interest rates. CAMEL ratios consists of capital as measured by capital adequacy ratio (CAR), asset quality as measured by non performing loan (NPL), management quality as measured by non-interest expenditures to total assets (NIETA), earnings as measured by return on assets (ROA), liquidity as measured by cash to assets (CTA). Research conducted in Indonesia is also used to find out if there are differences in the behavior of market discipline at the time of a full guarantee, Rp. 100 million guarantee, and Rp 2 billion guarantee. The results showed while guaranteeing full there was no fundamental factors influential to changes in bank deposits and interest rates, while the granting of Rp. 100 million CAR and CTA have significant positive effect to changes deposits and significant negatife to interest rates, and than NIETA has significant negative to changes deposits and significant positive to interest rates, Rp 2 billion guarantee CAR and ROA have positive effect to changes in deposits and significant negative to interest rates. Market discipline occurs at the time of the granting of Rp 2 billion and is increasing at the moment of granting decrase to Rp. 100 million, indicated by number of variables that has a significant effect to changes in deposit and interest rate. whereas when full guarantee market discipline does not occur

    The Effective Dose and Pattern of Soybean Extract Administration to Regulate Body Weight of Laboratory Rats

    Background: Protein in soybean, β conglycinin is responsible for anti-obesity effects by suppressing appetite via stimulation of Cholecystokinin. Cholecystokinin is a hormone released in the digestive tract in response to the intake of protein and suppress appetite for short-term. Detam 1 variety is a high-quality soybean according to the Minister of Agriculture of Indonesia. Soybean protein extract Detam 1 by Deak method contains high levels of β conglycinin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effective dose of protein extract Detam 1 soybean Deak Method (PEDSDM) in reducing food intake, regulate body weight, and plasma CCK level for 14 and 28 days at various dosage and pattern of treatment on male Wistar rats. Methods: There were eleven groups of treatment (n = 3), administrated with extracts at 5 mg/1x/day, 10 mg/1x/day, 20 mg/1x/day, 2.5 mg/2x/day, 5 mg/2x/day, 10 mg/2x/day and 1.7mg/3x/day, 3.4mg/3x/day, 6.7 mg/3x/day, negative control group (distilled water) and positive control group (Sibutramine). Food intake (g), weight loss (g) and measurement of plasma Cholecystokinin levels by ELISA (ng /ml) Results: The results showed that the highest percentage decrease in food intake is: group 3.4mg /3x/ day (p <0.05), inhibition weight gain for 14 days: group 10 mg /1x/ day, for 28 days: group 1.7 mg/3x/day (p <0.05), increased plasma Cholecystokinin levels: group 20 mg /1x/day (p <0.05). Conclusions: The effective dose and pattern administrating the rats for 14 days is extract of 10 mg once a day in the morning, for 28 days is 1.7 mg three times a day.     Pengaruh Job Insecurity terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Turnover Intention pada Karyawan Legian Village Hotel

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh job insecurity terhadap kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention pada karyawan Legian Village Hotel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Legian Village Hotel yaitu sebanyak 65 orang, dan diteliti keseluruhannya (sampel jenuh). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner dengan menggunakan skala likert 5 poin untuk mengukur 11 item pertanyaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path anaylsis) dengan program SPSS 13.00 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa job insecurity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Job insecurity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi job insecurity terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan Legian Village Hotel

    Analisis Standarisasi Laboratorium Biologi Dalam Proses Pembelajaran Di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar

    Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap standarisasi laboratorium yang ada di SMA Negeri Kota denpasar, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional dimana dalam penentuan responden menggunakan tehnik probability sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 200 responden yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru bidang studi, petugas laboran laboratorium biologi serta siswa siswi yang sudah menginjak kelas XII IPA. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian mengkorelasikan sekor setiap item jawaban responden dengan total item pernyataan dengan mencari sekor presentase rata-rata. Data hasil penelitian ini di uji dengan menggunakan rumus presentase rata-rata. Hasil dalam penelitian deskriptif ini menunjukkan bawa kondisi daya dukung fasilitas alat-alat laboratorium IPA/Biologi yang ada di kota denpasar menunjukkan bahwa kondisinya hampir memenuhi standar minimal yang telah ditetapkan yakni (1) Fasilitas Perabot yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar belum memenuhi standar minimal ( 80.56 % ), (2) Fasilitas alat ukur dasar laboratorium yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar masih berada di bawah standar minimal ( 96.80 % ), (3) Fasilitas Gambar/charta yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar belum memenuhi standar minimal ( 83.73 % ), (4) Fasilitas bahan-bahan yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar belum memenuhi standar minimal ( 97.77 % ), (5) Fasilitas papan tulis yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar sudah memenuhi standar minimal ( 100% ), 6) Fasilitas perlengkapan lain yang ada di ruang laboratorium IPA/Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Denpasar belum memenuhi standar minimal ( 77.77 % ). Dari segi managemen pengelolaan laboratorium SMA Negeri kota Denpasar semua tergolong sangat baik sedangkan untuk efektivitas dalam pemanfaatan ruang laboratorium yang ada di kota denpasar menunjukkan sangat baik.Kata Kunci : Daya Dukung Sarana Prasarana , Pengelolaan Laboratorium , Efektivitas Pemanfaatan Laboratorium This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational studies in which the determination of respondents use probability sampling technique.     Pengaruh Konseling Short Message Service (SMS) Gateway Terhadap Self Efficacy Menghindari Seks Bebas Dan HIV/AIDS Remaja

    Masalah perilaku berisiko di kalangan remaja saat ini sangat mengkhawatirkan yang disebabkan oleh kemampuanself efficacy (kepercayaan diri) untuk menghindari seks bebas dan HIV/AIDS yang masih rendah. Peningkatan selfefficacy remaja dapat ditingkatkan dengan konseling SMS Gateway. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh dari konseling SMS Gateway terhadap kemampuan self efficacy menghindari perilaku seks bebas danHIV/AIDS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan rancangan one group pre-post test design. Sampelpenelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta sejumlah 450 siswa dari total populasitarget 850 siswa yang dipilih secara simple random. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rerata nilai self efficacysebelum konseling sebesar 90,7 ± 6,25 dan sesudah konseling sebesar 97,7±2,63 dengan nilai p 0,000. Nilairerata (± SD) masing-masing subvariabelnya yakni magnitude sebelum 27,70±3,47 dan sesudah 30,99±1,44dengan nilai p 0,000, generalizability sebelum 28,60±2,49 dan sesudah 31,28±1,24 dengan nilai p 0,000, danstrength of belief sebelum 30,85±1,85 dan sesudah 31,55±1,26 dengan nilai p 0,000. Kesimpulan penelitian iniadalah terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan konseling metode SMS gateway terhadap kemampuan self efficacymenghindari perilaku seks bebas dan HIV/AIDS. Penggunaan SMS gateway diharapkan menjadi bagian daripelayanan kesehatan di sekolah sehingga terjadi peningkatan perilaku pencegahan seks bebas dan HIV/AIDS

    Analisis Kandungan Vitamin C dan Kalium dalam Labu Kuning (Cucurbita Moschata)

    Research has been conducted to determine the level of vitamin C by a visible spectrophotometer, and a metal content of potassium (K) from pumkin sample (Cucurbita Moschata) by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Measuring the levels of vitamin C in the sample performed at a wavelength (λ) = 510 nm and measuring the levels of potassium in the sample performed at a wavelength (λ) = 766,5 nm. The results obtained by the levels of vitamin C is sample A (pumpkin from Jono oge village) obtained at 6 mg/L, sample B (pumpkin from Sidera village) obtained at 4,5 mg/L, and sample C (pumpkin from Toro village) obtained at 0,97 mg/L. While the metal content of potassium is sample A (pumpkin from Jono oge village) obtained at 23,22 mg/L, sample B (pumpkin from Sidera village) obtained at 22,22 mg/L, and sample C (pumpkin from Toro village) obtained at 20,22 mg/L. These data indicate that the levels of vitamin C and potassium sample A higher than sample B and C

    Regionalization and harmonization in TVET

    A transversal skill is one of the skills needed in every type of workplace setting. There is limited information about the perceptions of which transferable skills are needed in the workplace. The objective of this study is to explore the transferable skills among students and lecturers in TVET higher learning institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. In the present study, transferable skills consist of communication skills, collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, entrepreneurship, and learning to learn skills. A qualitative research was conducted using survey. The five Likert scale questionnaire was distributed to lecturers and students from selected Malaysian and Indonesian universities who have bachelor program in engineering. Based on the analysis outcomes, it is clearly shown that Malaysian university engineering students yielded significantly higher scores on the perceptions of transferable skill acquisition in all measured components compared to their counterparts in Indonesia. Similar patterns of data distribution have been observed in Malaysian and Indonesian engineering students. Based on the lecturers’ perception, Malaysian and Indonesian Engineering Lecturers have comparable perceptions in the aspects of problem solving skills and entrepreneurship skills. In contrast, Malaysian university engineering lecturers gained significantly higher scores on the perception of communication skill, collaboration skill, and learning to learn skill compared to the Indonesian lecturers. The results indicate the need to increase transferable skills of both lecturers and students
