    Ethnomatematics is a science used to understand how mathematics is adapted from a culture. The purpose of this study is to dig ethnomatematics on the making of batik tulis Kangkung Setingkes and create a student worksheet in accordance with the curriculum 2013. This type of research is qualitative with ethnographic approaches. The subject in this study amounted to seven people. Data Collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. Data collection results are analyzed descriptively. Based on the analysis of data from the observation and interviews, obtained ethnomatematics in the process of making batik in the Setingkes Kangkung. The meaning of Ethnomatematics is the concept of algebraic and geometric concepts. Algebraic concepts include counting, measuring, and masing and geometry concepts, such as point, line, angle, construction, congruation, and Geometry transformation (translation, rotation, reflection, dilation). Ethnomatematics in this study were made as student worksheets for class VII of comparative material and the XI class of geometry transformation material

    Kecemasan geometri adalah kecemasan yang muncul ketika menghadapi hal – hal yang berhubungan dengan geometri. Tingkatan kecemasan geometri dimulai dari rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan panik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kecemasan geometri siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah bangun ruang sisi datar ditinjau dari teori van Hiele. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini masing - masing dua siswa pada level visualisasi, analisis, dan deduksi informal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kombinasi (triangulasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dari tiap level memiliki kecemasan geometri yang berbeda. Siswa visualisasi mengalami kecemasan sedang dan tinggi dalam mendefinisikan dan mengidentifikasi sifat serta unsur bangun ruang sisi datar. Siswa analisis mengalami kecemasan sedang dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri yang berkaitan dengan perhitungan diagonal, volume, dan luas permukaan. Siswa deduksi informal mengalami kecemasan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan masalah berkaitan dengan definisi dan unsur bangun ruang serta permasalahan dalam bentuk cerita

    Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) was a learning method in which the auditory skill was used. The students had to be able to listen, speak, present, give argument, and give response. Intellectually was that the students had to be able to use their mind set well to find and apply some problem solving related to their difficulties. Repetition was that the students had to do repetition or make an overview of their understanding and knowledge through quiz and final test. This training was aimed to solve the studens' problem in comprehending some questions aftes finished the lesson by using AIR method. This study used two sickles, in which, in every sickle consisted of planning, conducting, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data was gotten through some attentive activities. These were observation, documdntation, interview, and test. Then, the data was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative an quantitative method. The result of this study shown the students' improvement, namely in the first sickle was 72,50% and the second sicle was 90%. The students' mistake mostly found in taking conckusion. The effective of AIR method in the fist sickle was 32,48% include in effective enough. Whereas in the second sickle, the effective achieved 26,92% include in effective. Thus, AIR learning method was mostly effective to reduce the students' mistake in answering mathematics questions in the lesson of function relation in SMP Islam Al-Mu'ien

    This research aims to describe the ethnomatematics of carving on the buildings in the Mandara Giri Semeru Agung Temple as geometry transformation learning. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods of this reasearch are observation and interview. The subjects of this reasearch are two temple builders and one religian of Hindu. The results of this reasearch showed that there are etnomatematics on the buildings in the Mandara Giri Semeru Agung Temple and produce summary of the worksheets of students based on ethnomatematics.  Waringin Lawang Temple has an element of reflection. Kurung Temple has an element of congruence. Padmanabha has an equilateral triangle shape. Bale Ongkara has a square pyramid roof. Bale Gong has a prismed roof shape. Meru has a pyramid shape. The carvings in various buildings of Pura have reflection elements (reflection on X axis, reflection on Y axis), translations (X-axis and Y-axis translation), and rotation (180 degree rotation through origin). The learning materials obtained in this research is a summary of student worksheets on the geometry transformation, similarity, congruency, plane and space.     Abstract. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The purpose of this study was to identify errors made by students of spatial, moderate, and low visual intelligence in solving math problems. The instrument used is a sheet of spatial visual intelligence test test, a sheet of flat space side wake, and interview guide. The subjects used were 2 students with high spatial visual intelligence, 2 students with medium spatial visual intelligence, and 2 students with low spatial visual intelligence. This grouping is based on the results of a spatial visual intelligence test. The student error indicators used are 5 types, including fact errors, concept errors, operation errors, principle errors, and other errors. Factual errors, operations, and principles merupapakan characteristics of visual intelligence spatial problem solving, while the error of the concept consisting of the error of drawing objects including the characteristics of the imagination and determine the pattern is a pattern search characteristics. Students with high spatial visual intelligence make a mistake of facts and operational errors. Students with spatial visual intelligence are making a mistake of facts, concept errors, operational errors, and other errors. Students with low spatial visual intelligence make a mistake of facts, concept errors, operational errors, principle errors, and other errors. When viewed from the characteristics of spatial visual intelligence, students with high spatial visual intelligence make mistakes on the characteristics of problem solving, students with spatial visual intelligence are making mistakes on the characteristics of imagination, conceptualization, problem solving and pattern searching, as well as students with low spatial visual intelligence performing the same thing.     Abstract. The purpose of this research is to improve students activity and learning achievement for the Pythagorean theorem subject in VIII-B SMP Negeri 3 Panarukan. This study uses a method called Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI). This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that use two cycles of learning, there are two meetings in each cycle. Data collection methods used in this study is documentation, observation, tests and interviews. The data analyzed is teacher activity, students activity and student learning achievement.     Coronary heart disease is a disease caused by accumulation of cholesterol that forms plaques on artery walls for a considerable period of time. Over time, this disease can cause the heart muscle to weaken, and cause complications such as heart failure. One of ways to treat coronary heart disease is the stent installation (rings) or commonly called angioplasty. Angioplasty aims to make the blood vessels narrow to open so that blood flow flows better. The emergence of mathematical modeling as a new science is one alternative to solve these problems. With mathematical modeling, practitioners can make a form of a formula that describes the state of blood flow in the coronary arteries according to actual conditions without ignoring important factors in the system. In this study a mathematical model was built based on the above problems to determine the effectiveness of stent installation or angioplasty in the process that occurs in coronary arteries.     Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the thinking process of students in solving the problem of high-level thinking in accordance with predetermined indicators. The high-level thinking problem in this study refers to taxonomy bloom ie C4 (analysis), C5 (evaluation), and C6 (creation). Collaborative learning to enhance students' active role in solving high-order thinking problems. The thinking process of students in geometry in this study can be described based on van Hiele's theory. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. Result of research from 23 students through collaborative learning, got 2 students according to van Hiele thinking level. The data obtained are 1 students who are in the process of thinking level 1 (analysis) and 1 student is in the process of thinking level 2 (informal deduction).     Abstrak. This research aims to (1) analyze the development process of mathematics learning media with discovery learning model by paying attention to cognitive load in trigonometry subject at tenth grade of vocational high school; (2) analyze the development result of mathematics learning media with discovery learning model by paying attention to cognitive load in trigonometry subject at tenth grade of vocational high school. Mathematics learning media that were development are Lesson Plan and students’ worksheet. This research took place at tenth grade KIA 2 of vocational high school 5 jember with consists 36 students. This research is development research. Process and result from development were (1)the development process of using modified thiagarajan model which consists of 3 stages; (2) development result were validation test from validation sheet analysis that scored 3,80 for Lesson plan validatiy coefficient and 3,83 for Student work sheets validatiy coefficient with valid category, practicality test from teacher’s activity analysis scored 89,74% for the first meeting and 94,87% for the second meeting with good category, and efectiveness test from students activity analysis, Learning Result Test and students’ questionnaire analysis with effective result. Result of this mathematics learning media development showed that discovery learning mathematics learning media by paying attention to cognitive load fulfilled validity, praticality, efectiveness so that it can be used well for learning.   Keyword: Development, Media, Cognitive Load Theory, Trigonometr

    Abstract. The Mathematic everage score of SMP Negeri 1 Ajung has not reached maximum standart yet. Grade VII D is one of classes which has low score and minimun student activities. The everage score of grade VII D evaluation test has not reached SKM yet. It was coused by the teacher learning method, which use the expository for their daily learning activity. So that the students were passive in a class. In this kind of think, the material which has a low score was perimeter and area of triangle and quadrilateral. One of the learning model that can be develop was cooperatif learning Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) type. From the research result, the learning activity by using cooperatif model Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) type can increase the student achievement and activity.
