    Penelitian ini membahas tentang diksi dan gaya bahasa pada iklan produk makanan di Jepang dan akan dikaji dari ilmu semiotika. Diksi yang digunakan pada iklan berkaitan langsung dengan kosakata makanan dan tidak berkaitan dengan makanan. Terdapat juga diksi yang berasal dari kata serapan bahasa asing serta istilah bahasa asing. Gaya bahasa yang ditemukan pada sumber data adalah Hiperbola, Metonimia, Personifikasi, Sinekdok, Alusi, Simile, Aliterasi, Epizeuksis, Repetisi. Rangkaian kata dengan gaya bahasa yang tepat ini membuat proses penyampaian informasi tentang produk kepada calon konsumen semakin mudah. Kata kunci: semiotika, diksi, gaya bahasa   This research discusses about the diction and style of language in advertising of food products in Japan and will be assessed from the science of semiotics. Diction used in advertisements directly related to the vocabulary of food and unrelated. There is also a diction that comes from loanwords and foreign language terms. Style that is found in the data source is Hyperbole, metonymy, personification, Sinekdok, Alusi, Simile, Alliteration, Epizeuksis, Repetition.     Ports are part of the transportation system for smooth flow of goods and passengers as well as having an important role for the efficiency of city life and the region. Pontianak city as a node set in West Kalimantan's economy, because it is required to provide adequate infrastructure to support trading activities is one of the port infrastructure, but there are still problems at the port of Pontianak, such as the shallow grooves of shipping and supporting facilities are still lacking. This study aims to analyze the level of port services Pontianak. Analyzes were performed using several stages, namely identifying the roles and functions of the port of Pontianak with reference to ministerial decree 53 of 2002 on the order of harbor and measure the level of service (LOS) of the basic facilities at the port of Pontianak The analysis shows the level of service (LOS) from the facility was able to serve the flow of goods into the Port of Pontianak port but does not fully comply with the standards of what the government has directed in the regulations concerning the order of harbor

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MODEL INKUIRI TERBIMBING DENGAN METODE PICTORIAL RIDDLE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

    Abstrak Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing dengan metode pictorial riddle terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental design menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Data penelitian hasil belajar berupa hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisa secara kuantitatif mengunakan Uji T dan N-gain. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada siswa yang diberikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan metode pictorial riddle mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan mendapatkan nilai n-gain pada intrepetasi sedang dengan skor 0,66. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen yang diberikan metode pictorial riddle dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle. Sedangkan untuk respon peserta didik didapatkan respon yang sangat positif dengan presentase 98%. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pictorial Riddle

    Optimasi Proses EDM Sinking Baja HMD5 di Mesin Makino Edaf3 Laboratorium Produksi Mesin dan Perkakas

    The EDM sinking process is the process of cutting non-conventional workpieces by using electric sparks that occur when two electric poles are close together, the high temperature of the electric sparks can cause the workpiece particles are eroded and release to become burr in a very small size. The cutting rate in this process is influenced by many factors, including characteristics of the material, type of electrode, cutting parameters, condition of the coolant and  method of spraying the coolant. This study aims to find optimum conditions for the EDM process with  HMD5 steel  workpieces, by using taguchi method wich is effective in making decisions with more than one variable. After all experiments and analysis, the results obtained are spark area level 1 or 50-75, current level 3 or 12A, pulse on time level 2 or 35 ms and pulse off time level 3 or 32 ms, which are the parameters with the most optimum material rete removal. After testing the optimazion result, MRR value increase from 20.26 mm3/min to 33.08 mm3/min and we have conclusion that the taguchi method can help to optimized parameter in EDM process

    Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang wajib ditempuh oleh setiap mahasiswa di semua jurusan pendidikan di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Program Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) bertujuan agar mahasiswa kependidikan mengetahui, mengenal, dan memahami lapangan pendidikan, baik di sekolah ataupun lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa agar memiliki kemampuan berupa ketrampilan dalam bidang pembelajaran dan manajerial sekolah atau lembaga, dalam rangka melatih dan mengembangkan kompetensi keguruan atau kependidikan. Kegiatan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) terbagi dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan mengajar dan pelaksanaan mengajar. Tahap persiapan dimulai dari observasi sekolah dan observasi pembelajaran di kelas. Selanjutnya mahasiswa menempuh mata kuliah micro teaching di kampus yang merupakan mata kuliah untuk melatih mahasiswa dalam mengajar. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PPL dimulai tanggal 10 Agustus 2015 sampai 12 September 2015. Dalam praktik mengajar, mahasiswa diberi kesempatan untuk mengajar di kelas X AP 1 dan X AP 2 mata pelajaran mengelola peralatan kantor dengan jumlah mengajar sebanyak 10 kali pertemuan, tanpa pengajaran insidental. Sehingga selama PPL praktikan telah melaksanakan 10x3 jam pelajaran. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PPL, mahasiswa juga mengalami beberapa hambatan yaitu kurangnya peralatan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki pihak sekolah yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran, adanya siswa yang tidak semangat dalam belajar, dan siswa yang kurang proaktif terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Hambatan tersebut dapat teratasi dengan memodifikasi peralatan dan fasilitas, mencoba mengembangkan pola mengajar yang bervariasi, menjalin komunikasi yang baik dan lancar, dan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa. Mahasiswa juga senantiasa konsultasi dengan guru pembimbing untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan PPL dapat disimpulkan, bahwa kegiatan ini dapat memberikan pengalaman kepada mahasiswa dalam pengembangan kompetensi di bidang pendidikan, memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk belajar dan mengenal segala permasalahan di sekolah yang terkait dengan proses pembelajaran, memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk menerapkan ilmu, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari dalam kehidupan nyata di sekolah, serta dapat meningkatkan hubungan kemitraan yang baik antara UNY dengan sekolah yang terkait

    Pengaruh Pemberian Jus Pare (Momordica charantia L.) Terhadap Kualitas Sperma dan Histologi Testis Tikus Wistar

     AbstrakBuah pare merupakan salah satu kandidat agen kontrasepsi karena memiliki beberapa senyawa seperti flavonoid, triterpenoid, steroid, charantin, dan momordicin yang memiliki peran sebagai agen antispermatogenik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus pare (Momordica charantia L.) terhadap kualitas sperma dan histologi testis tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus Berkenhout, 1769). Penelitian menggunakan 20 ekor tikus Wistar jantan, dibagi menjadi 4 perlakuan yang terdiri dari kelompok pemberian akuades (K), kelompok pemberian jus pare konsentrasi 25% (P1), 50% (P2), dan 75% (P3) yang dilakukan selama 49 hari menggunakan sonde lambung 1 mL. Pada hari ke-50 tikus dibedah untuk diambil cauda epididymis dan testis. Cauda epididymis dilarutkan ke dalam Phospate Buffer Saline (PBS) untuk pengamatan kualitas sperma yang terdiri dari motilitas, jumlah, viabilitas, dan morfologi sperma. Testis dibuat sediaan histologi dengan metode parafin (pewarnaan Hematoxylin-Eosin). Seluruh parameter dianalisis menggunakan uji One-Way Anova dan dilanjutkan Duncan test (P 0,05). Terdapat penurunan jumlah sel spermatogonium, spermatosit, dan spermatozoa pada konsentrasi 25% dibandikan dengan kontrol (P 0,05). Jus pare dapat menurunkan sebagian besar parameter kualitas sperma sehingga berpotensi sebagai antispermatogenik.AbstractBitter melon fruit is one of the candidates for contraceptive agents because it contains several compounds such as flavonoids, triterpenoids, steroids, charantin, and momordicin which have a role as antispermatogenic agents. The research aims to determine the effect of giving bitter melon juice (Momordica charantia L.) on sperm quality and testicular histology of Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus Berkenhout, 1769). The study used 20 male Wistar rats, divided into 4 treatments consisting of groups given distilled water (K), groups given bitter melon juice with concentrations of 25% (P1), 50% (P2), and 75% (P3) which were carried out for 49 days. using a 1 mL gastric probe. On the 50th day, mice were dissected to remove the cauda epididymis and testes. The cauda epididymis is dissolved in Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS) to measure sperm quality consisting of sperm motility, number, viability and morphology. Testes were made into histological preparations using the paraffin method (Hematoxylin-Eosin staining). All parameters were analyzed using the One-Way Anova test and continued with the Duncan test (P0.05). There was a decrease in the number of spermatogonium cells, spermatocytes and spermatozoa at a concentration of 25% compared to the control (P0.05). Bitter melon juice can reduce most sperm quality parameters so it has the potential to be antispermatogenic.

    THE EFFECT OF COFFEE FRUIT SKIN EXTRACT ON SPERM CHARACTERISTICS AND TESTICULAR OF MICE WITH ETHANOL-INDUCED

    Coffee fruit skin contains antioxidant compounds that can repair damaged tissues, especially those of reproductive or-gans. This study was designed to assess to what extent the metha-nolic extract of coffee fruit skin affected sperm characteristics and testicular histology in mice receiving 15% ethanol for 15 days. It used 25 male mice aged four months and employed a completely randomized design with two controls (K) and three treatments (P), namely K1 (without ethanol), K2 (15% ethanol), P1 (15% ethanol and the methanolic extract of coffee fruit skin, or MECS, at 125 mg/ kg BW), P2 (15% ethanol and MECS 250 mg/kg BW), and P3 (15% ethanol and MECS 500 mg/kg BW). These treatments were administered orally with a 1 mL disposable syringe for 15 days. The parameters observed were sperm characteristics (viability, morphology, and sperm count) and the microscopic structure of the testicles (lu-men area, diameter, and area of seminiferous tubules). These data were then analyzed using the one-way ANOVA, continued with the LSD and Duncan’s tests (P <0.05). The results showed that P2 (250 mg/kg BW) substantially improved sperm count (86.5x105±1.73 cells/ mL), sperm viability (87.26±0.05%), and the proportion of normal sperm morphology (93.33±0.004%) of mice with 15% ethanol-in-duced sperm damages. Testicular histology also confirmed improve-ments in spermatogenic cells, as evident from the lumen, diameter, and area seminiferous tubules after receiving P1 and P2. In conclu-sion, the optimum dose of the coffee skin extract for improving sperm quality and microscopic structures of mice testicles is 250 mg/kg BW

This research method is to use qualitative research with descriptive analysis method, the data collection technique used by the author in making this report is to use the method of observation, direct interviews with BPKAD officials in Lampung Province, besides that the author also conducts documentation studies and literature studies to support fulfillment. this research. The purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of the damage to the elements of the Sei bridge. Lalak II in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used to analyze the condition of bridge damage is based on the Fracture Critical Member (FCM) method While the results of the FCM method are trusses that have the highest stress ratio in rod number 2 with a stress ratio value (0.717), rod number 7 with a stress ratio value (0.717) and rod number 33 with a stress ratio value (0.717). From this value, the condition of the truss is in the warning category, so light rehabilitation is needed, such as painting the steel frame. At the FCM screening stage, the score obtained is 25 points, then the next examination is carried out for a maximum of the next 24 months. At the FCM assessment stage, the score obtained is 104 points, then the subsequent examination will be carried out in the next 12 months. The overall condition of the Sei bridge.
