Analisis Faktor- Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Motivasi Pegawai Di Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro
Dalam rangka menyelenggarakan pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat secara efektif dan efisien, diperlukan motivasi yang tinggi dari penyelenggara pelayanan publik. Untuk mencapai motivasi, dibutuhkan adanya integritas, profesional, netral dan bebas dari tekanan apapun serta bersih dari adanya Korupsi, Kolusi, dan Nepotisme dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik.Berbicara mengenai peningkatan motivasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi pegawai pada Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan Sampel dalam penelitian 70 orang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai pada Kecamatan Metro Pusat masuk dalam kategori baik. Korelasi antara faktor-faktor yang mempegaruhi motivasi pegawai masuk dalam kategori skuat. Berdasarkan Koefisien Diterminasi Kedua Variabel diatas, terlihat bahwa Koefisien Diterminasi Motivator Factor ( Faktor Intrinsik) atau sering disebut dengan Faktor Kepuasan Pegawai (51,5%) lebih besar dari pada Hygiene Factor (Faktor Intrinsik) atau sering disebut dengan Faktor Ketidakpuasan Pegawai (50,9%) .Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Motivator Factor lebih mempengaruhi Motivasi Pegawai pada Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro dibandingkan dengan Hygine Factor Metro
Pengaruh Depurasi Terhadap Konsentrasi Logam Berat Timbal (Pb) Dan Kadmium(Cd) Dalam Jaringan Lunak Kerang Darah (Anadara Granosa)
Blood Cockle (Anadara granosa) is one type of shellfish which have an important economic value in Indonesia. Semarang waters is one of the location of the Blood Cockle which were allegedly tainted by Pb and Cd. The metal content could be reduced by depuration. This research purposed to determine the content of heavy metal concentrations in Semarang waters and determine the effect of shell length and the length of depuration time on the heavy metal concentrations of Pb and Cd in the A. granosa. This research was conducted on 23 July to 28 August 2010. The method used in this study is description on the preliminary research and laboratory experimental method for depuration. Preliminary research was performed by testing the concentration of heavy metals in water, sediments and soft tissue of A. granosa in the waters of Semarang. Primary research conducted depuration process based on differences size of the scallop shell length ≥ 2.0 cm and < 2.0 cm, and different time depuration treatment, i.e. control (without depuration), 1 day, 3 day, 5 day, and 7 days. According to AAS test results showed, the highest concentrations of Pb and Cd heavy metals in Semarang water respectively at 0.23 ppm and 0.036 ppm, in sediment 1.48 ppm and 0.091 ppm, and in the soft tissues of A. granosa of 0.82 ppm and 0.042 ppm. Depuration process can reduce the content of heavy metal concentrations of Pb and Cd, respectively at 0.37 ppm and 0.051 ppm
Rancang Bangun Sistem Pemanen Energi di Lantai Menggunakan Modul BQ25570 pada Aplikasi Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting
Energy harvesting is a process whereby energy produced is derived from an external. As for external sources consisting of sunlight, sound, the wind, vibrations, the press, and others. One potential that could be used the style press derived from a footrest man while walking. The device that can be used to harvest energy by using the style press is piezoelectric. Piezoelectric is a material when given style tap hence will generate electricity. But, electricity produced piezoelectric is a signal impulse so it needs a coherent rectifier and devices series of electronic another so that the energy harvested can be stored on a battery, in this research using a module BQ25570. Module BQ25570 is an electronic device in which there are DC-DC converter, charging battery and protection, and super capacitor as media temporary storage. The research was conducted by making a prototype with size 80 cm × 50 cm, use piezoelectric kind of PZT as many as 50 strung together in parallel. Testing conducted by using the style press from the average weight of a human body. The results of tests carried out the power produced at the time of heavy 42 kg is 1,345 mW, 52 kg is 2,251 mW, 67 kg is 4,729 mW, 70 kg is 10,646 mW, and 82 kg is 17,218 mW

Analytical Frameworks and an Integrated Approach for Mini-grid based Electrification
Although rural electrification using mini-grids has attracted recent
global attention, the concept has been there for quite some time. Consequently, a
number of analytical approaches exist to support the decision-making process.
This chapter first provides a review of literature dealing with analytical frameworks
for off-grid and mini-grid based electrification projects. The range of analytical
options includes simple worksheet-based tools to more sophisticated
optimisation tools for technology selection as well as assessments based on multicriteria
analysis. This is followed by an evaluation of mini-grid based off-grid
electrification projects in India that allows the identification of critical factors for
the success of such projects. Finally, the chapter proposes an integrated approach
for analysing decentralised mini-grid projects in a holistic manner
