    Training for the Making of Singkong Leaves and Lele Fish for Communities in the Region of New Benda Kelurahan Pamulang-Tangerang Selatan

    Dalam rangka meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat di kelurahan Benda Baru kecamatan Pamulang Kota Tangerang  Selatan dalam bentuk diversifikasi produk daun singkong dan ikan lele sehingga tercipta kesejahteraan masyarakat  melalui pengoptimalan potensi singkong, pengolahan berbagai produk olahan dendeng lumat dari daun singkong dan  ikan lele yang variatif, berkualitas, bergizi dan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini ditujukan kepada masyarakatsebanyak 16 orang ibu-ibu. Tujuannya memampukan masyarakat dalam merencanakan  dan mengelola potensi singkong sebagai upaya untuk membentuk/mengembangkan sekelompok masyarakat yang  mandiri secara ekonomi dan sejahtera. Luaran : (1) Produk dendeng daun singkong dan dendeng ikan lele (2) Publikasi  kegiatan pembuatan dendeng lumat daun singkong dan dendeng ikan lele di youtube. Metode yang digunakan dalam  kegiatan ini adalah pemberian materi, praktek secara langsung dan pendampingan. Pemberian materi dilakukan di aula  setempat, dengan materi tentang diversifikasi pangan bahan lokal untuk mengenalkan berbagai pilihan alternatif sumber  pangan dan mengenalkan beberapa contoh diversifikasi pangan berbasis bahan lokal yang ada. Teknik pembuatan  Dendeng Lumat Daun Singkong dan Ikan Lele pendampingan serta praktek pembuatan dendeng lumat singkong dan  dendeng ikan lele.To increase community empowerment in the Benda Baru sub-district, Pamulang sub-district, South Tangerang City, in the form of product diversification of cassava leaves and catfish so that community welfare is created through optimizing the potential of cassava, processing various processed products of mashed beef jerky from cassava leaves and catfish that are varied, of high quality, nutritious and has a high selling value. This Community Service Program is aimed at the community as many as 16 mothers. The goal is to enable the community to plan and manage the potential of cassava to form/develop a group of people who are economically independent and prosperous. Outputs: (1) Products of cassava leaf jerky and catfish jerky (2) Publication of the activity of making pulverized cassava leaves and catfish jerky on YouTube. The method used in this activity is the provision of material, direct practice, and assistance. The presentation of the material was carried out in the local hall, with material on diversification of local food ingredients to introduce various alternative food sources and to introduce several examples of diversification of food based on existing local ingredients.     The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of immersion in the process of manufacture mango apple (Mangifera indica) on the acceptance of the product. In the research of the effect of long immersion of dried apple mango fruit to the physical quality, sensory of candied apple mango products. This research uses experimental method. The result of consumer acceptance test, product of mango apple with the duration of soaking different from the duration of marinade 3 days, 5 days and 7 days are generally acceptable to the consumer by obtaining the acceptance category scales. The data obtained from the panelist assessment is somewhat trained as many as 30 people result of the research hypothesis indicate that there is influence of receipt of mango product of apple mangoes to consumer acceptance in all aspects ie color, flavor, aroma, and textur. The result of the assessment of consumer's preference level on the duration of soaking preserved apple mango with a long period of soaking for 3 days, 5 days, and 7 days is much preferred is preserved apple mango with 5 days immersion and can be recommended for further production.     Influence Of Water Spraying In The Cooking Process Of Baked Churros On Customer’s Acceptance

    This study aims to examine the influence of water spraying in the cooking process of baked churros on customer’s acceptance , which includes aspects of color, aroma, taste, pores and texture. The study was conducted from January 2020 to March 2020 at the Culinary Analysis and Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University. In this analysis, extra treatment was provided to baked churros in the form of spraying water prior to the baking process. This study used an organoleptic test which was tested on 3 expert panelists (Culinary Education Lecturers) and 30 untrained panelists. The hedonic test results showed that by spraying water with P2, the highest average customer’s acceptance of baked churros seen from the aspects of color, aroma, taste, pores and inner texture was vulnerable to like. The Friedman test with a significant level of α = 0.05 was used in the results of the study. The Friedman test results showed that the treatment did not affect the aspects of color, aroma, taste, inner texture and outer texture, but that it had an effect on the pore aspects. Tuckey's test results showed that in the cooking of baked churros, spraying P2 water was most favored by consumers. Based on these findings, the production of baked churros by spraying water with P2 can be recommended as a result of the best water spraying baked churros. Keyword: Baked Churros, Consumer Acceptance, Water Spraying

    Perbaikan fisik tanah pasca galian batuan dan pertumbuhan cabai rawit dengan pemberian bahan organik dan mikroorganisme tanah

    Bahan organik dan mikroorganisme diperlukan untuk memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah pasca galian batuan agar dapat digunakan untuk budidaya tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi bahan organik dan mikroorganisme tanah terhadap perbaikan fisik tanah pasca galian batuan dan pertumbuhan cabai rawit. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Cibiru Bandung, Jawa Barat dengan titik ordinat  -6.92049471880716, 107.716127309820, dari bulan Juni sampai Oktober 2020, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial  dua faktor dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama yaitu bahan organik: b0 : kontrol (tanpa pemberian bahan organik), b1: kompos Paitan 15 t ha-1, b2: kompos eceng gondok 15 t ha-1, b3: abu cangkang sawit 15 t ha-1. Faktor kedua : mikroba: mo: kontrol (tanpa pemberian mikroba), m1 : Inokulum campuran Fungi Mikoriza Asburkular (FMA) 10 g polibag-1, m2 :Inokulum campuran  BPF (Bakteri Pelarut Fosfat) 10 ml polibag-1, m3 : campuran FMA dan BPF. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan eceng gondok 15 t ha-1 yang diberikan bersamaan dengan FMA atau BPF menaikan kelembaban tanah. Aplikasi bahan organik dan mikroba menurunkan agregat stabil tahan air. Eceng gondok dan BPF masing-masing menurunkan suhu tanah. Aplikasi bahan organik dan mikroorganisme belum berpengaruh dalam peningkatan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit, namun berpengaruh terhadap fisik tanah  tanah pasca galian batuan.ABSTRACTOrganic matters and microorganisms are needed to improve the physical properties of the post-mine sand pits soil so that it can be used for plant cultivation. The purpose of this study was to know the influence of organic matters and soil microorganism application on post-mine sand pits soil improvement and chili pepper growth. This study was conducted in Cibiru Bandung (-6.92049471880716, 107.716127309820), from June to October 2020, using Block Randomized Factorial Design two factors and repeated three times. The first factor was organic matters: b0 : control, b1: compost Titonia 15 t ha-1, b2: compost Hyacinth 15 t ha-1, b3: palm shell ash 15 tha-1. The second factor: microbes: m0: control, m1: mix inoculum AMF  10 g polybag-1, m2 : mix inoculum PSB 10 ml polybag-1 , m3 : mixture of AMF and PSB. The results showed that hyacinth 15 t ha-1 given with FMA or PSB increased soil moisture. The application of organic matters and microbes decreased water stable aggregates. Hyacinth and PSB lower the temperature of the soil. The application of organic matters and microorganisms has not had an effect in increasing the growth of chili pepper plants but influences the physical properties of the post-mine sand pit  soil

    Pengabdian  pada  masyarakat  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengaktifkan  ibu-ibu  rumah  tangga  di Kelurahan Rawamangun,  membekali pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penanganan limbah dapur segar menjadi berbagai produk komersial. Dalam pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan   ibu-ibu  rumah  tangga  yang  pada  akhirnya  dapat  menambah   pendapatankeluarga. Khalayak  sasaran  yang  strategis  yaitu  ibu-ibu  rumah  tangga  yang  tidak  mempunyai   pekerjaan. Dengan kriteria latar belakang ekonomi mereka adalah menengah ke bawah. Dengan diajarkan keterampilan membuat manisan dari limbah dapur segar diharapkan dapat mengatasi pengeluaran keuangan keluarga. Pada pelaksanaannya, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 35 orang peserta dari kelurahan Rawamangun  Jakarta  Timur.  Kegiatan  pengabdian  masyarakat  di Kelurahan  rawamangun  diawali dengan pengurusan izin lokasi kepada Ketua Program Studi Tata Boga Universitas Negeri Jakarta, selanjutnya pendataan calon peserta yang terdiri dari Kader PKK dan ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Kegiatan persiapan  pengabdian  dilakukan  pada  hari  Kamis  tanggal  4  September  2014  yaitu  berupa  proses penyiapan limbah dapur segar. Pelaksanaan  kegiatan  dilakukan  dengan  metode  ceramah,  Tanya  jawab  dan  demonstrasi, praktek serta diskusi langsung kepada peserta yang diakhiri dengan dilakukan analisis terhadap hasil kegiatan  pelatihan.  Berdasarkan  hasil  pemberian  materi  dan  pelatihan  pembuatan  manisan  basah yakni manisan basah buah tomat, manisan basah kulit buah semangka, manisan basah buah melon, manisan  basah  buah  pepaya,  manisan  basah  belimbing  wuluh  dari  limbah  sari  belimbing  wuluh. Manisan kering yakni manisan kering kulit buah melon, manisan kering kulit buah tomat. Serta sirup belimbing  wuluh,  maka  dapat disimpulkan  bahwa  materi  pelatihan  yang diberikan  sangat  menarik minat peserta sehingga membuat para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan. &nbsp

On striped cane stem borer (Chilo sacchariphagus). As well as to determine the number of eggs of Corcyra cephalonica parasited by Trichogramma sp. The research was conducted at PT. PG Rajawali II Unit Center for Agro (Agronomy research centers) Sumber Jatitujuh Village Majalengka ,from April to June 2015. The result showed that in parasitism of striped cane stem borer (Chilo saccaripagus) treatment of 5 “pias” (750 eggs of Trichogamma sp.) had the lowest number of larvae on average 4,33 larvae with parasited eggs percentage of 92,23%

    The Influence of Leaf Fertilizer Media on Multiplication of Barangan Banana (Musa acuminate L.) in vitro

    Barangan banana (Musa acuminata L.) is a plant that has the biggest contribution to national fruit production. The increasing demand for the banana requires the availability of seedlings, while conventional cultivation is unable to produce healthy, disease-free seedlings in a short time and large amount. In vitro culture is considered to be able to handle the constraints of the conventional seed supply.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foliar fertilizers on in vitro multiplication of barangan bananas. The method used was a single factor of Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the addition of leaf fertilizer consisting of five levels of media treatment, media MS (control), and 0.50 ml L-1 (p1); 0.75 ml L-1 (p2); 1.00 ml L-1 (p3); 1.25 ml L-1 (p4); 1.50 ml L-1 (p5) of leaf fertilizer media repeated five times. The data were analyzed with Analysis Variance then followed by Duncan Multiple Ranged Test of 5%. The results showed MS media still gave the best results compared to other leaf fertilizer media. Meanwhile, the leaf fertilizer media used in this study still gave good results on the initial time of buds appearance (p3 treatment), the number of shoots and the number of leaves in the p5 treatment, as well as the height of the plant in the p4 and p5 treatments.     Krisis ekonomi pada tahun 1997 telah memukul industri pertekstilan Indonesia. Pabrik tekstil banyak yang harus merumahkan karyawannya karena kesulitan untuk mengimport bahan baku (kapas). Industri tekstil dan produk tekstil menyumbang pembangunan ekonomi berupa penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan yang cukup besar dan devisa negara. Export tekstil dan produk tekstil pada tahun 2014 menunjukkan pendapatan 12,72 milyar dolar dan Indonesia surplus lebih dari 5 milyar dolar dalam perdagangan sector industry tekstil dan produk tekstil. Rami (Boehmeria Nivea L. Gaud), merupakan tanaman yang pertumbuhannya sangat cepat dan salah satu penghasil serat. Penambahan Giberelin dan metode pemangkasan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil serat tanaman rami. Penelitian dilakukan di Instalasi Kebun Terpadu RPM UIN Sunan Gunung Djati bandung dengan ketinggian 715 m dpl, dari bulan Januari sampai Maret 2016. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial dengan tiga ulangan dan dua faktor perlakuan yaitu faktor Giberelin (g) terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu (g0=tanpa Giberelin, g1= 50 ppm, g2 = 100 ppm, dan g3= 150ppm) dan faktor pemangkasan (p) terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu (p1= pangkas datar, p2=pangkas huruf V, dan p3= pangkas miring), dengan parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun, kekuatan serat menahan beban, dan diameter batang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi interaksi antara pemberian Giberelin 150 ppm dan pemangkasan huruf V berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tunas mencapai 43,6 cm. Sedangkan aplikasi giberelin 150 ppm berpengaruh terhadap rata-rata diameter batang mencapai 4,4 mm

    Hama penggerek batang merupakan hama yang paling penting pada tanaman tebu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh telur Corcyra cephalonica yang terparasitasi Trichogramma sp. terhadap hama penggerek batang tebu bergaris (Chilo sacchariphagus). Serta untuk mengetahui jumlah telur Corcyra cephalonica yang terparasitasi Trichogramma sp. yang paling efektif terhadap pengendalian hama penggerek batang tebu bergaris (Chilo sacchariphagus) Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. PG Rajawali II Unit Puslit Agro (pusat penelitian Agronomi) Desa Sumber Jatitujuh-Majalengka, dari bulan April sampai bulan Juni 2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada parasitasi penggerek batang tebu bergaris (Chilo saccaripagus) perlakuan 5 pias (750 butir telur Trichogamma sp.) memiliki jumlah larva terendah rata-rata 4,33 larva dengan persentasi telur yang terparasit 92,23%.  Stem borer is the most important pest in sugarcane.
