Classical solution of the wave equation

The classical limit of wave quantum mechanics is analyzed. It is shown that the general requirements of continuity and finiteness to the solution ψ(x)=Aeiϕ(x)+Beiϕ(x)\psi(x)=Ae^{i\phi(x)}+ Be^{-i\phi(x)}, where ϕ(x)=1W(x)\phi(x)=\frac 1\hbar W(x) and W(x)W(x) is the reduced classical action of the physical system, result in the asymptote of the exact solution and general quantization condition for W(x)W(x), which yields the exact eigenvalues of the system.Comment: 8 Pages, 10 Refs, LaTe

The space-time structure of hard scattering processes

Recent studies of exclusive electroproduction of vector mesons at JLab make it possible for the first time to play with two independent hard scales: the virtuality Q^2 of the photon, which sets the observation scale, and the momentum transfer t to the hadronic system, which sets the interaction scale. They reinforce the description of hard scattering processes in terms of few effective degrees of freedom relevant to the Jlab-Hermes energy range.Comment: 4 pages; 5 figure

About the Poisson Structure for D4 Spinning String

The model of D4 open string with non-Grassmann spinning variables is considered. The non-linear gauge, which is invariant both Poincar\'e and scale transformations of the space-time, is used for subsequent studies. It is shown that the reduction of the canonical Poisson structure from the original phase space to the surface of constraints and gauge conditions gives the degenerated Poisson brackets. Moreover it is shown that such reduction is non-unique. The conseption of the adjunct phase space is introduced. The consequences for subsequent quantization are discussed. Deduced dependence of spin JJ from the square of mass μ2\mu^2 of the string generalizes the ''Regge spectrum`` for conventional theory.Comment: 23 page

O-(Trimethylsiloxy)alkyl S-trimethylsilyl aryldithiophosphonates 7a-d were obtained by the reaction of 2,4-diaryl-1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphetane-2,4- disulfides 5a,b with disilyl derivatives of glycols 6a,c and salicyl alcohol 6b. The reactions of mixed O,S-bis(trimethylsilyl) 2,4-di(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4- hydroxyphenyl)dithiophosphonate 1 and S-silyl aryldithiophosphonates 7a,b with S,S-diethyldithiodiphenylgermane 2, dichlorodiphenylgermane 8a, and dichlorodiphenylstannane 8b were studied. The structure of hexaphenyl-2,4,6,1,3, 5-trithiatrigerminane 11 was established by X-ray single crystal diffraction. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc

    Glueballs and the Pomeron

Glueballs are considered to be bound states of constituent gluons. Relativistic wave equation for two massive gluons interacting by the funnel-type potential is analyzed. Using two exact asymptotic solutions of the equation, we derive an interpolating mass formula and calculate glueball masses in agreement with the lattice data. We obtain the complex non-linear Pomeron trajectory, αP(t)\alpha_P(t), in the whole region of tt. The real part of the trajectory corresponds to the soft Pomeron, parameters of which are found from the fit of recent HERA data.Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure; The X international school-seminar on the actual problems of microword physics Gomel (Belarus), July 15-16, 200

Development of methods of phosphorylation of citral by medial and acidic phosphites

    Get PDF
The reactions of trimethyl phosphite with citral in the presence of acetic acid, triphenyl phosphite with citral in the presence of water and trimethyl phosphite with citral in the presence of water and triethylamine in the methanol solution were studied. On the basis of these studies, dienyl 1-hydroxyphosphonates were obtained. A convenient method of synthesizing unsaturated 1-hydroxyphosphonates was developed on the basis of reaction of dialkyl phosphites with citral in the presence of triethylamine in molar ratio 4:2:8 in alcohol solutions

Hadronic Regge Trajectories: Problems and Approaches

    Get PDF
We scrutinized hadronic Regge trajectories in a framework of two different models --- string and potential. Our results are compared with broad spectrum of existing theoretical quark models and all experimental data from PDG98. It was recognized that Regge trajectories for mesons and baryons are not straight and parallel lines in general in the current resonance region both experimentally and theoretically, but very often have appreciable curvature, which is flavor-dependent. For a set of baryon Regge trajectories this fact is well described in the considered potential model. The standard string models predict linear trajectories at high angular momenta J with some form of nonlinearity at low J.Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures, LaTe

Correction: Volume: 10 Issue: 1 Article Number: 49 DOI: 10.1186/s13601-020-00357-4 Published: DEC 17 2020Background: Over 1 billion people suffer from chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, rhinitis and rhinosinusitis. They cause an enormous burden and are considered as major non-communicable diseases. Many patients are still uncontrolled and the cost of inaction is unacceptable. A meeting was held in Vilnius, Lithuania (March 23, 2018) under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and several scientific societies to propose multisectoral care pathways embedding guided self-management, mHealth and air pollution in selected chronic respiratory diseases (rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, asthma and COPD). The meeting resulted in the Vilnius Declaration that was developed by the participants of the EU Summit on chronic respiratory diseases under the leadership of Euforea. Conclusion: The Vilnius Declaration represents an important step for the fight against air pollution in chronic respiratory diseases globally and has a clear strategic relevance with regard to the EU Health Strategy as it will bring added value to the existing public health knowledge.Peer reviewe

Formation and modern state of ecosystem in Tolmachevskoye reservoir (Kamchatka) and the acclimatized there population of kokanee ( <i>Oncorhynchus nerka kennerlyi</i>)

    Get PDF
Evolution of local ecosystem in Tolmachevskoye reservoir and changes in its artificial population of kokanee salmon are traced on the data of authors’ observations in 2009-2013 and previous archival and cited data. Decreasing of inorganic phosphorous, nitrogen, and bioavailable iron is detected in the water against a background of water warming. As the result, phytoplankton production and abundance decrease, its species composition becomes simpler, chlorophyll а concentration becomes lower. Zooplankton abundance is stable (1-2 g/m3), as before the reservoir appearance, but species structure of plankton crustaceans is changed, and the copepods Cyclops scutifer , small cladocerans Holopedium gibberum, Bosmina longirostris , and Daphnia ( Daphnia ) cristata group prevail recently. The salmon food spectrum is wide and includes a lot of unedible fractions as wood chips and plant detritus; coefficient of consumption is high - these factors indicate a deficiency of forage resources for fish. The fish condition indicates a chronic malnutrition. The state of female gonads is satisfactory, without any visible pathology, as in 2003-2007, but the oocytes resorption goes concurrently with maturation of gonads that is a sign of hard competition for the food within the kokanee population. The current stable state of the population differs from preceded stages of its development by lower stock add smaller size of fish, the age of spawning is now 4-7 years. Among other freshwater fish, the kokanee salmon is distinguished by high content of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Artificial populations in Kamchatka could be considered as a resource for both amateur or sport fishing and commercial aquaculture
