Color image retrieval using taken images

Now-a-days in many applications content based image retrieval from large resources has become an area of wide interest. In this paper we present a color-based image retrieval system that uses color and texture as visual features to describe the content of an image region. To speed up retrieval and similarity computation, the database images are segmented and the extracted regions are clustered according to their feature vectors. This process is performed offline before query processing, therefore to answer a query our system need not search the entire database images; instead just a number of candidate images are required to be searched for image similarity. Our proposed system has the advantage of increasing the retrieval accuracy and decreasing the retrieval time. The experimental evaluation of the system is based on a 1,000 real taken color image database. From the experimental results, it is evident that our system performs significantly better and faster compared with other existing systems. In our analysis, we provide a comparison between retrieval results based on relevancy for the given ten classes. The results demonstrate that each type of feature is effective for a particular type of images according to its semantic contents, and using a combination of them gives better retrieval results for almost all semantic classes

This paper presents a creativity data prefetching scheme on the loading servers in distributed file systems for cloud computing. The server will get and piggybacked the frequent data from the client system, after analyzing the fetched data is forward to the client machine from the server. To place this technique to work, the data about client nodes is piggybacked onto the real client I/O requests, and then forwarded to the relevant storage server. Next, dual prediction algorithms have been proposed to calculation future block access operations for directing what data should be fetched on storage servers in advance. Finally, the prefetching data can be pressed to the relevant client device from the storage server. Over a series of evaluation experiments with a group of application benchmarks, we have demonstrated that our presented initiative prefetching technique can benefit distributed file systems for cloud environments to achieve better I/O performance. In particular, configuration-limited client machines in the cloud are not answerable for predicting I/O access operations, which can certainly contribute to preferable system performance on them

One of the cultural traditions of tamils is the worship of god. H.A. Krishna Pillai was hailed by all as a Christian Kambar. The thesis is based primarily on the epic 'Ratchaniya Yaathirigam', one of the greatest of his works. This thesis is titled Rakshaniya Yatrikam Ikabara Chandidalam, the culture of worshiping God. It describes the cultural tradition of praising God. From this article, see that god's qualities and deeds are praised and praised. In this article, see that God is praised as the God of creation, as the embodiment of grace, and as a tri-deity also reveals the cultural tradition of thinking of God as king and father

Cloud computing is a model for enabling service user’s ubiquitous, convenient and on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Cloud computing is a promising technology to facilitate development of large-scale, on-demand, flexible computing infrastructures. But without security embedded into innovative technology that supports cloud computing, businesses are setting themselves up for a fall. The trend of frequently adopting this technology by the organizations automatically introduced new risk on top of existing risk. Obviously putting everything into a single box i.e. into the cloud will only make it easier for hacker. This paper presents an overview and the study of the cloud computing. Also include the several security and challenging issues, emerging application and the future trends of cloud computing

In recent years especially in the last decade, the rapid development in computers, storage media and digital image capturing devices enable to collect a large number of digital information and store the minicomputer readable formats. The main objective of this paper is to build more generalized CBIR system which increase the searching ability and provide more accurate results. To improve the retrieval accuracy the system has taken the feedback from the user automatically. To evaluate the performance of new system, we use WANG database. The metrics used for evaluation are precision, recall and retrieval time. The performance can be evaluated by comparing some existing systems in CBIR. The performance of new system in terms of the metrics proves to good

BIOCHEMICAL EVALUATION OF ANTIDIABETIC PROPERTIES OF SWERTIAMARIN, A SECOIRIDOID GLYCOSIDE OF ENICOSTEMMA LITTORALE LEAVES, STUDIED IN HIGH-FAT DIET–FED LOW-DOSE STREPTOZOTOCIN-INDUCED TYPE 2 DIABETIC RATS

Objective: Swertiamarin, a secoiridoid glycoside present in the leaves of Enicostemma littorale, is reported to be responsible for its pharmacological and beneficial properties. The present study was aimed to biochemically evaluate the antidiabetic properties of Swertiamarin in high fat diet fed - low dose streptozotocin (STZ)-treated diabetic rats. Methods: High-fat diet-fed low-dose STZ was used to induce experimental type 2 diabetes in rats. Diabetic rats were orally treated with swertiamarin (50 mg/kg b.w./rat/day) for 30 days. The physiological criterions such as food and fluid intake were recorded. Oral glucose tolerance test was performed. The levels of fasting blood glucose, plasma insulin, glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), hemoglobin, and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) values were estimated. The activities of key enzymes involved in carbohydrate and glycogen metabolism in the liver and kidney tissues were assayed. The glycogen content in liver tissue was estimated.Result: Oral administration of swertiamarin to diabetic rats established a significant decline in the levels of fasting blood glucose, HbA1c as well as HOMA-IR values and an increase in plasma insulin and hemoglobin levels. The altered activities of key enzymes of carbohydrate and glycogen metabolism in liver and kidney tissues of diabetic rats were restored to near normalcy by swertiamarin treatment. Conclusion: Swertiamarin treatment maintains normoglycemia in diabetic rats by modulating the activities of key carbohydrate and glycogen metabolizing enzymes in the hepatic and renal tissues

A Study about the Intension to Purchase Electric Two-Wheelers in the State of Tamil Nadu

Although the market for electric vehicles (EVs) has grown dramatically in recent years, they still make up a very small portion of every new vehicle sold worldwide. Over one percent of all two- wheelers sold in 2023 were electric. Thus, it is necessary to research the adoption of electric two- wheelers (E2W). A behavioral model of electric two-wheeler adoption intention is developed in this study. The goal of the current study was to determine the variables that affect customers' preferences to purchase electric two-wheelers. Using the questionnaire approach, 182 valid answers were gathered. The study hypothesis was tested using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The research findings show that customers' opinions towards electric two-wheelers are strongly influenced by social influence, perceived economic gain, charging infrastructure, and environmental concern. The consumer's intention to buy an electric two-wheeler is also highly influenced by their attitude. It was discovered that the primary factor driving people to buy electric two-wheelers was perceived economic benefits. The results of this study also indicate that women are more likely than males to buy electric two-wheelers. Governments and manufacturers of electric two-wheelers can better understand customer behaviour towards electric two-wheeler purchases with the help of these data
