Providing Biblical Knowledge to Women Ages 25–70 to Place Women in Ministry and Leadership Positions in the Church
The purpose of this project is to provide biblical knowledge to equip women to assume scriptural roles in church ministry and leadership. The project was conducted at The Word Ministry Church in rural Dallas County, Alabama. The writer reviewed women’s challenges and issues in the Christian community dominated by patriarchal theories. This project provides an overview of the study group and the training criteria for preparing women for ministry and leadership. The goal was to educate women not serving in leadership or ministry positions to obtain biblical knowledge to give them the confidence and support to accept their gift of ministry or leadership. The researcher used various tools to assess each participant’s biblical knowledge of women in ministry and leadership, including pre- and post-tests, individual interview questionnaires, and a group questionnaire tool. The data collection process included individual and group interviews. The mentoring process was implemented for a month, during which each mentor and mentee shared information to determine the effectiveness of the process. The elective group of mentors, women currently in ministry and leadership positions, were paired with mentees, women not in ministry or leadership positions in the church
How Much Can Outlook Forecasts be Improved? An Application to the U.S. Hog Market
This study investigates the predictability of outlook hog price forecasts released by Iowa State University relative to alternative market and time-series forecasts. The findings suggest that predictive performance of the outlook hog price forecasts can be improved substantially. Under RMSE, VARs estimated with Bayesian procedures that allow for some degree of flexibility and model averaging consistently outperform Iowa outlook estimates at all forecast horizons. Evidence from the encompassing tests, which are highly stringent tests of forecast performance, indicates that many price forecasts do provide incremental information relative to Iowa. Simple combinations of these models and outlook forecasts are able to reduce forecast errors by economically significant levels. The value of the forecast information is highest at the first horizon and then gradually declines.forecast, futures, models, prices, time-series, vector autoregression, Agricultural Finance,

The role of gender in the relations among Dark Triad and psychopathy, sociosexuality, and moral judgments
The Dark Triad (D3) traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy have been linked to a range of moral behavior, and to sociosexuality and sexual behavior, particularly in males. The current study examined whether males and females differ with respect to relations among D3 traits and dimensions of psychopathy from the Triarchic Psychopathy Measure (TriPM), sexual behavior, sociosexuality, tendency towards infidelity, and moral judgments, using a community sample. D3 and TriPM measures were generally more strongly correlated with sexual behavior for males in ways that might increase numbers of matings and sexual partners, but were more strongly correlated with intention towards infidelity and sociosexual attitudes for females—in ways that might facilitate extra-pair mating. Sociosexuality and self-reported sexual behavior showed a strong pattern of overall and gender-specific relations to moral judgments. D3 and psychopathy measures were also related to everyday moral judgments, although generally less so than were sociosexuality and sexual behavior. These results clearly point to the importance of taking gender into account when considering the relations between D3 traits, sexual behavior, sociosexuality, and moral judgments

UC-161 CyberSecurity Capstone
The purpose of this capstone was to form a cyber security team to help a small business, a restaurant, secure their server. As a team, we had to research any risks and generate a plan based on the information we found. We researched the best tools to use and configured them on to our server. In order to identify how secure our server was, a team was responsible to try to exploit the URL. It was our job to monitor the server for any potential threats/vulnerabilities
Advisory Service Marketing Profiles for Soybeans over 2002-2004
This report presents marketing profiles and loan deficiency payment/marketing loan gain profiles for the advisory services followed by the AgMAS Project for the 2002, 2003 and 2004 soybean crops. Marketing profiles are constructed by plotting the cumulative net amount priced under each program’s set of recommendations throughout the crop year. Loan deficiency payment/marketing loan gain (LDP/MLG) profiles are constructed by plotting the cumulative percentage of the crop on which the LDP/MLG was claimed during the crop year. Marketing profiles provide information to evaluate the style of advisory services in several ways. The percentage of crop priced is a measure of within-crop year price risk. The higher the proportion of a crop priced, the lower the sensitivity of the farmer’s position value to crop price changes. For example, when 100% of the crop is priced there is no price sensitivity, which means that changes in price do not affect the value of the farmer’s position. On the other hand, when the amount priced is 0%, the value of the farmer’s position will vary in the same proportion as the change in price. Marketing profiles, therefore, allow investigating the evolution of price sensitivity under each service’s set of recommendations along the marketing window. Marketing profiles also provide other useful information. The number of steps in the profile lines and the location of these steps in the marketing window provide information about timing, frequency and size of recommended transactions. It is also possible to determine from the marketing profile figures how intensely a program uses options markets, since when options positions are open the profile line is irregular. In the same way, LDP/MLG profiles provide information about the size and timing of LDP/MLG claims.Agricultural Finance,
