Results of conjoint analysis showed quality attributes preferred by the entrepreneurs. They were Arabica and Robusta (50:50) mixed variety, mixing of 70:30 coffee, chicory ratio, keeping quality up to 6 months, medium level of taste/aroma, filter size of the powder and roasting time of 15 minutes/ 10 kg of seeds. About 83.00 per cent of entrepreneurs produced coffee powder as a final form of coffee product, nearly two-third (63.00 %) of the entrepreneurs did not have any brand name or logo, cent per cent of them reported manual packing only. Major criteria to fix different price rate of coffee product were International daily market price (90.00 %), factors affecting the price policy were market price fluctuation (93.33 %), season (90.00 %) and Cent per cent of them had adopted coffee price forecasting broadcasted by various media. Selection of the location depends on nearby town and coffee potential area, techniques to overcome the competitor were better pricing and supply of quality coffee product, attraction of customers depends on personal contact, attractive display boards, quality, taste, aroma and flavor. Promotional activities carried out by the entrepreneurs were developing the customer base (83.33 %) and working towards building customer loyalty (76.67%). Relationships followed among stakeholders were good partnership, price and profit sharing, commission basis, service and quality, supply-service and demand. Further, market demand reported by entrepreneurs were: the demand for coffee beans peaked during July to November, coffee powder were more demand in three seasons namely rainy season (June-September), winter season (December- January) and summer holidays (April-May). Feedback mechanism reported by coffee entrepreneurs were: quality analysis report received from the export organization, physical analysis, cup test, personal contact through phone, e-mail and also personal letters

A Scheduling Genetic Algorithm For Real-Time Data Freshness And Cloud Data Security Over Keywords Searching

    Get PDF
Cloud storage services allow customers to ingress data stored from any device at any time. The growth of the Internet helps the number of users who need to access online databases without a deep understanding of the schema or query. The languages have risen dramatically, allowing users to search secured data and retrieve desired data from cloud storage using keywords. On the other hand, there are fundamental difficulties such as security, which must be provided to secure user'spersonal information. A hybrid scheduling genetic algorithm (SGA) is proposed in this research. SGA technique enhances the security level and provides data freshness. For evaluation and comparison, parameters such as execution time throughputs are used. According to experimental results, the proposed technique ensures the security of user data from unauthorized parties. Furthermore, SGA is strong and more effective when compared to a set of parameters to the existing algorithm like Data Encryption Standard (DES), Blowfish, and AdvancedEncryption Standard (AES)

Conjugacy and Compatibility of Partial Arrays

    Get PDF
Berstel and Boason introduced the partial words in the context of gene (or protein) comparision (1). To develop an overall picture of how genes are regulated during hyphal development the partial DNA arrays are used to study the difference in gene expression between wild type and the signalling mutants. Also Aldo de Luca developed a combinatorial method for the analysis of finite words for the study of biological molecules. This paper studies a relaxation of compatibility relation called K-compatibility  and conjugacy of K- compatibility between partial arrays.Â

One has to build up the immune system in order to fight against the pathogens. Nowadays, due to the sedentary life style and stressful life severe health issues occur. By increasing the number of physical activities one can reduce the effect of it. The present study outlines how to improve the immune system by Alternate Traditional System of Medicine. Details on some of the plant-based immunity boosters are provided here to help prevent and fight against infection. The methods adopted to administrate the medicines are in the form of decoction, concoction or extraction. For a healthy immune system, a plant product or a combination of products such as spices, fruits, vegetables are used. A healthy life style along with a balanced diet could support and boost one’s immune system

A cress-sectional hospital base study was conducted to analyze fetomaternal outcome in eclampsia, clinical characteristics that predispose as risk factors, changes in serum magnesium level and its influence on maternal outcome. Study conducted from 1st March 2010 to 30th June 2011 in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, Coimbatore. In our study there were total of 104 eclamptic patients with an incidence of 1.23%. Only 65.38% were booked patients and with regular antenatal checkups. Primigravida constituted 76%. Maximum incidence of eclampsia was in the age group between 21 and 25 years (58%). Antepartum eclampsia constituted 81%. Mean blood pressure on admission was 156 ± 15 / 103 ± 12 mm Hg. Headache was the commonest imminent symptom. 57% had vaginal delivery. Serum magnesium level was significantly low (1.74 ± 0.28 mg/dl ; p value < 0.05) in eclamptic patients. Maternal complications included PPH, HELLP, renal failure, abruptio placenta, pulmonary edema, aspiration and intra cerebral hemorrhage in decreasing order of frequency. There were 4 maternal deaths with case fatality ratio of 3.84%, contributing 10.5% of total maternal deaths. Half of the deaths were due to HELLP-DIC. Age >25 years, multipara, unbooked patients, seizures ≥ 5 episodes, systolic BP ≥ 160 mm Hg were significantly associated with maternal complications. Platelet less than 1 lakh and serum magnesium level less than 1.6 mg/dl were associated significantly with adverse maternal outcome. Perinatal complications included small for gestational age, preterm, jaundice, seizures, respiratory distress, sepsis. There were 30 perinatal deaths contributing to 6.96% of total perinatal mortality. Perinatal mortality rate was 3.56/1000 live births. Multiparity, gestational age ≤ 32 weeks, seizures >5 episodes were significantly associated with perinatal mortality
