Terdapat tiga (3) objektif dalam kajian ini iaitu mengenal pasti program yang dilaksanakan kerajaan yang memperkasakan keupayaan dan daya tahan petani muda di Boyolali, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia; menganalisis daya tahan petani muda di Boyolali, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia; dan menilai keupayaan petani muda dalam menyumbang daya tahan petani muda di Boyolali, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH DENGAN STRATEGI JIGSAW LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA (PTK Siswa Kelas XII Semester 1 SMK Batur Jaya 1 Ceper Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMK Batur Jaya 1 Ceper Klaten melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan strategi jigsaw learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMK Batur Jaya 1 Ceper Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode alur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari: prestasi belajar matematika sebelum menggunakan strategi jigsaw learning 8 siswa atau 25,81 % dengan dampak mengiring berani tampil di depan kelas 4 siswa, aktif menyelesaikan soal 4 siswa, kepercayaan diri 2 siswa, kemampuan menyelesaikan soal 3 siswa, dan menangkap masalah sebagai tanggapan tidak ada, setelah tindakan dengan menggunakan strategi jigsaw learning prestasinya meningkat menjadi 29 siswa atau 93,55 %., sedangkan dampak pengiringnya berani tampil di depan kelas 19 siswa, aktif menyelesaikan soal 20 siswa, kepercayaan diri 22 siswa, kemampuan menyelesaikan soal 18 siswa, dan menangkap masalah sebagai tanggapan 17 siswa Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan strategi jigsaw learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika dengan materi ukuran pemusatan data siswa SMK Batur Jaya 1 Ceper Klaten semester 1 tahun pelajaaran 2010 2011

The effect of transformational leadership on voice behavior in the hospitality industry

The COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on all service industries, specifically hospitality, which has become increasingly competitive. Therefore, innovation and service improvement are needed to provide the best service for consumers by determining the voice behavior of their employees. This study examines the effect of transformational leadership on employee voice behavior, specifically frontline at hotels in Central Java. The mediating variables consisting of work and engagement were used to clarify the mechanism related to the effect of transformational leadership on voice behavior. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, namely by using the criteria of frontline employees who have worked for at least 1 year. Data were collected from 216 frontline employers at hotels and analyzed using the SEM PLS. The result showed that transformational leadership and work engagement can indirectly promote employee voice behavior. Furthermore, the meaning of work can promote voice behavior with a longer mechanism through work engagement

Effect of Knowledge Transfer on Economic Sustainability With Network Strength as Moderating

This study aims to examine the effect of knowledge transfer on sustainability in the agricultural sector in Boyolali district and examine the effect of network strength as a moderating variable in the influence of knowledge transfer on economic sustainability. The data were conducted through a survey using a questionnaire with purposive sampling to 119 heads of farmer group cooperatives in Boyolali district, with a questionnaire level of 98 percent. This study applied a hierarchcal regression to test the research model used. The results show that knowledge transfer has significant influence on economic sustainability in the agricultural sector. Finding knowledge in the context of the agricultural sector in Boyolali district has a relationship that is not in line with economic sustainability. While knowledge sharing carried out positively affects on economic sustainability. Interrogating Indonesian New Order’s Narrative of Gestapu: The Leftist Nobles and the Indonesian Communist Party in Umar Kayam’s Stories

Although the atrocity around the 1965 coup—better known as Gestapu, Gestok or G 30 S PKI in Indonesia—has been continually on the international humanitarian spotlight, its literary representation in Indonesia has been minimal. The strong hold of the New Order regime and their residue in the current political system must have something to do with this. Among a few vernacular writers coping with the aftermath of the tragedy but is less discussed as such is Umar Kayam. The four texts analysed in this article, “Bawuk,” “Musim Gugur Kembali ke Connecticut,” Para Priyayi and Jalan Menikung: Para Priyayi 2, interrogate the complexity of Gestapu victimization and narrative set by the New Order. The texts reflect the failure of the Javanese nobles (priyayi) in revitalizing their role as political leaders in the face of corrupt political system. Instead of resisting the corrupt regime, they play along in the political game to gain personal benefits. The Javanese nobles siding with the oppressed by joining the Communist Party’s affiliated organizations are ostracized and marginalized. Despite Kayam’s sympathetic representation of some communist figures in his fiction, his general representation of communist ideology is ambivalent. His figuration of communist poets simply as uncritical serfs of ideology, for example, shows his bias towards accepting the New Order cultural narrative. Despite his sympathetic description of those innocently accused of treason following Gestapu 1965, Kayam still portrays communism as an evil and foreign ideology much in the same way that the New Order regime had been narrating it

Literary Theory in Indonesian English Department: between Truth and Meaning

Literary theory in Indonesian English Department is faced with the questions of the integrity of theory and compatibility with local context. The integrity of theory found in other social sciences is absent in literary theory since it makes use of theories of other disciplines in such a way that it departs and yet relates to those theories in a new trajectory. Ecumenical posture should be the paradigm when approaching the plurality of literary theory. The compatibility with local context has to be understood in the interconnectedness of theory in the network of global academic conversation. The decision to use or not to use certain theory should not be driven by xenophobic views or the failure to understand the complexity of theory. How does mindfulness affect employee attitude and behavior toward work-related outcomes?

Purpose – This study examined the influence of mindfulness in its relationship to creativity and work engagement, which could increase proactive service performance and customer satisfaction while reducing the negative impact of customer incivility. Methodology/Design/Approach – The survey was conducted using a snowball system among 260 hotel employees who voluntarily participated. The Partial Least Square (PLS) method was used to analyse the data collected. Findings – This study found a positive impact of mindfulness on employee creativity, proactive service performance, and customer satisfaction. Customer incivility was also found to affects work engagement as a precedent of proactive service performance and as a mediating variable on customer incivility and proactive service performance. Originality of the research – This research develops a comprehensive model that analyses the influence of mindfulness on creativity, proactive service performance, and customer satisfaction, taking into account customer incivility in affecting work engagement and proactive service performance

Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Turnover terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Bagian Operasional PT Antara Persada Sukses

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Turnover terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Bagian Operasional PT Antara Persada Sukses. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif  dengan populasi sebanyak 114 responden dengan teknik probability sampling; simple random sampling. Analisa data yang digunakan uji validitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi, analisis koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung 8,635 > 1,988 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Turnover secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan nilai thitung 13,171 > 1,988 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan  lingkungan kerja dan turnover mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 117,555  > 3,10 dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05
