    CREATIVITY OF LANGUAGE, LEXICAL RELATIONS, AND CULTURAL VALUES: SUNDANESE HILARIOUS PUNS IN BRILIO.NET

    Purpose of the study: The objective is to be studied is the use of Sundanese language with the opposite meaning, cause-effect, comparison, and extension of meaning. The use of the Sundanese language contains cultural values of humility, advice/invitations, and friendliness. Cultural values ​​become the personality of the Sundanese brand adapted to the development of technology to make the speech products of the author also discuss local and global values. Methodology: This study seeks to analyze language creativity with local Sundanese nuances that follow global progress. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The data source from 100 Sundanese hilarious puns found in brilio.net. The descriptive method was used in several stages, namely data collection, data analysis, and data presentation. Main Findings: This research shows that Sundanese hilarious puns found in brilio.net use language creativity which contains 35% expansion of meaning (polysemy), opposite meaning (20%), cause-effect (25%), and comparison (20%). The dominant cultural values are friendliness by 52.5% others are humility (20%) and advice (27.5%). They reflect the habits of Sundanese people who like to joke and empower technological advances so that the creativity of the language produced further reflects today's digital development. Applications of this study: This research is used as a tool or model in understanding and interpreting language creativity in terms of contrastive meaning, cause-effect, comparison, the extension of meaning and values, i.e.: humility, advice, and friendliness in Sundanese hilarious puns. Novelty/Originality of this study: Sundanese hilarious puns show that language creativity not only empowers the play of words, but also the cultural values that become the tradition of Sundanese people, namely the traditions of Sundanese who like to joke (ngabodor). Cultural and lexical relationships are combined and produce funny speech following the development of typical Sundanese technology. Sundanese culture and language will persist if Sundanese people always use and maintain them, one of which is by creating hilarious Sundanese puns that follows technological advances, such as those found in Sundanese hilarious puns in brilio.net

    IDENTIFIKASI DAN MENGHITUNG JUMLAH SEL RADANG PADA LUKA BAKAR DERAJAT IIB DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SALEP DAUN KEDONDONG (Spondias dulcis F.) PADA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus novergicus)ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menghitung jumlah sel radang pada luka baka derajat IIB dengan menggunakan salep daun kedondong (Spondias dulcis F.) pada tikus putih (Rattus novergicus). Penelitian ini menggunakan tikus sebanyak 36 ekor, berjenis kelamin jantan, berumur 2-3 bulan, berat badan 200-300 gram, dibagi 4 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok P0 (dioleskan vaseline), kelompok P1 (dioleskan salep daun kedondong 10%), kelompok P2 (dioleskan salep daun kedondong 17,5%) dan kelompok P3 (dioleskan salep daun kedondong 25%) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Pengambilan sampel di lakukan pada 3 waktu yaitu minggu I, minggu II dan minggu III setelah perlukaan. Luka bakar derajat IIB dibuat pada punggung tikus menggunakan solder listrik dengan diameter 2 cm. Perawatan dilakukan 2 kali sehari selama 21 hari. Sampel kulit dibuat preparat histopatologi dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin eosin (HE). Parameter penelitian adalah identifikasi dan meghitung sel radang berdasarkan bentuk inti. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan ANAVA dan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jumlah Neutrofil dan jumlah Limfosit tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata, tetapi jumlah neutrofil tertinggi yaitu pada kelompok P1 (salep daun kedondong 10%) minggu ke-2 yaitu sebanyak 66,33, jumlah limfosit tertinggi pada kelompok P1 (salep daun kedondong 10%) minggu ke-2 yaitu sebanyak 100,67. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa salep daun kedondong 17,5% lebih baik dalam proses penyembuhan luka bakar terlihat dari rendahnya jumlah neutrofil dan limfosit pada minggu ke-II

    Abstract Weak ability of students to understand the integer operation count material is the background of this study with the aim of student learning outcomes can be increased, so that the writer together with the observer teacher provides action learning with cooperative type STAD. Classroom action research (CAR) consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings and each meeting consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research targets were students of class VI-B of SD Negeri 5 Subulussalam, 2019/2020 academic year I semester (one), totaling 30 students. Data analysis uses comparative descriptive analysis techniques by comparing initial conditions with the results achieved in Cycle I and Cycle II, and descriptive qualitative analysis of observational results by comparing observations and reflections in Cycle I and Cycle 2.From the results of the analysis found that student learning outcomes experience an increase from pre cycle, cycle I to cycle II that is, pre cycle of students who have completed learning is (47%), cycle I (70%), cycle II (88%). From these results it can be concluded that through cooperative STAD type in the learning process in mathematical learning material round arithmetic operations can improve student learning outcomes very effectively.   Keywords: STAD, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics   Abstrak Lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat menjadi latarbelakang dilakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat, sehingga penulis bersama guru pengamatmemberi tindakan pembelajaran dengankooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri atas dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri tiga kali pertemuan dan setiap pertemuan terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI-B SD Negeri 5 Subulussalam, tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 semester I (satu) yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis diskriptif  komparatif dengan  membandingkan kondisi awal dengan hasil-hasil yang dicapai pada siklus I dan Siklus II, dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif hasil observasidengan membandingkan hasil observasi dan refleksi pada siklus I dan siklus 2.Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari pra siklus, siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu, pra siklus siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah  (47%), siklus I (70%), siklus II  (88%).Dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa melalui kooperatif tipe STAD dalam proses pembelajaran pada pelajaran matematikamateri operasi hitung belangan bulatdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan sangat efektif.   Kata Kunci: STAD, Hasil Belajar, Matematik

    C. capsici was shown to be consistenlly associated with leaf spot of chilli, reducing appreciably the photosynthetic activity of infected plants leading to losses in yield. Incipient symptoms consisted of small, necrotic lesiom un the surface of the leaves, which later coalesced giving an irregular and blighted appearance with the production of abundant cOnidia, The pathogen sporulated abundantly at 20-30' but poorly at 10' C.At 40' C, no sporulation occurred. Sporulation on lesions was greatest near moisture! ,sporulation on lesions was greatest near moisture saturation but declined with decreasing water potential to -6 Mpa. The best temperature for germination was in the range of 20-30· C and declined with decreasing water potential. Pathogenicily tests and studie on the mode of infection of C, capsici on chilli leaves revealed that the fungus entered through the stomata, indicating that it was a primary invader

    AAH SARIAH ”PENGGUNAAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN MINAT BELAJAR PADA BIDANG STUDI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM (PAI) DI SDN 2 HALIMPU KABUPATEN CIREBON” Proses belajar mengajar merupakan proses komunikasi.Kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas merupakan suatu komunikasi tersendiri di antara guru dan peserta didiknya bertukar fikiran untuk mengembangkan ide – ide.Namun dalam komunikasi tersebut sering timbul dan terjadi penyimpangan – penyimpangan, sehingga komunikasi tersebut tidak efektif dan efisien yang disebabkan oleh verbalisme,ketidaksiapan peserta didik,kurangnya minat dan kegairahan peserta didik. Salah satu usaha untuk mengatasi keadaan tersebut yaitu penggunaan media secara terintegrasi dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk meningkatkan keserasian dan penerimaan informasi. Dalam hal ini penggunaan media Lembar Kerjai Siswa (LKS) digunakan oleh Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan tujuan untuk membantu proses kegiatan belajar mengajar, mengingat LKS berpengaruh positif terhadap perolehan prestasi belajar peserta didik.Akan tetapi setelah melihat kenyataan yang ada, ditemukan banyak peserta didik yang kurang memanfa’atkan fungsi LKS dengan baik. Mereka lebih memilih ribut di dalam kelas dan menyalahgunakan LKS dengan saling menyontek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang penggunaan LKS, data tentang minat belajar serta data tentang pengaruh penggunaan LKS terhadap minat belajar di SDN 2 Halimpu Kabupaten Cirebon. Keberhasilan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan akan sangat ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor pendidikan antara lain: Tujuan pendidikan, pendidik, anak didik, sarana dan lingkungan. Sehingga apabila sebuah faktor tersebut mendukung, proses pendidikan bisa berjalan lancar dan mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) adalah sarana agar peserta didik dapat belajar secara aktif terlibat dalam kegiatan belajar berfikir aktif dan kritis di dalam kelas maupun diluar kelas dan cara menemukan atau pembuktian untuk membuka cakwarala berfikir peserta didik dalam mengerjakan soal. Melalui LKS guru akan memperoleh kesempatan untuk memancing peserta didik agar secara aktif terlibat dengan materi yang dibahas.ertunda Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik penyebaran angket (kuesioner). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik SDN 2 Halimpu sebanyak 25 responden. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis data kuantitatif dengan cara diolah secara statistik dengan rumus Koefisien Korelasi Pearson atau Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) di SDN 2 Halimpu Kabupaten Cirebon adalah 28,7 %. Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan LKS dikategorikan “kurang baik”. Sedangkan data minat belajar di SDN 2 Halimpu Kabupaten Cirebon adalah 26,4 %. Ini berarti bahwa minat belajar di SDN 2 Halimpu dikategorikan “ kurang baik”. Berdasarkan analisis korelasi diperoleh rxy sebesar 0,30. Ini berarti Indeks korelasi yang diperoleh tidak brertanda negatif, yang berarti bahwa korelasi antara Varabel X (Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa) dengan variabel Y(Minat belajar) adalah” rendah”. Dengan kata lain ada korelasi positif antara variable X dengan variabel Y. Artinya kenaikan angka pada penggunaan LKS akan mempengaruhi kenaikan angka pada minat belajar di SDN 2 Halimpu Kabupaten Cirebon.Pengaruh penggunaan LKS dengan minat belajar mencapai 9%. Angka tersebut mengisyaratkan bahwa pengaruh terhadap minat belajar tidak semata – mata dari penggunaan LKS saja, akan tetapi dari pengaruh – pengaruh lain yang sisanya 91% seperti dari: kewibawaan guru, pemilihan metode yang tepat,penggunaan media yang disesuaikan dengan materi yang tidak diteliti oleh penulis

    Factors Influencing Relapse Among Patients with Schizophrenia in Muhimbili National Hospital: The Perspectives of Patients and their Caregivers

    Relapse in patients with schizophrenia is a major challenge for mental health service providers in Tanzania and other countries. Approximately 10% of patients with schizophrenia are re-admitted due to relapse at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) Psychiatric Unit each month. Relapse brings about negative effects and it results in a huge burden to patients, their families and mental health sector and country economy as well. So far no study has been done to address relapse in Tanzania. That is why there is a need to find out as to why individuals with schizophrenia experience relapse. This study aimed to explore perspectives on factors influencing relapse to patients with schizophrenia and their caregivers attended at Muhimbili National Hospital Psychiatric Out-patient Department, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Methodology A qualitative study was conducted, involving in-depth interviews of 7 schizophrenic out-patients and their 7 caregivers at MNH Psychiatric Out-patient Department in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Purposive sampling procedure was used to select participants for the study. Audio recorded in-depth interviews in Swahili language were conducted with all participants in the study. The recorded information was transcribed to text in computer files and analyzed by using NVivo 9 computer assisted qualitative data analysis software. Findings Personal and environmental factors for relapse were the main themes that emerged from this study. Patients and their caregivers perceived non adherence to antipsychotic medication as a leading factor to relapse. Other factors included poor family support, stressful life events and substance use. Family support, adherence to antipsychotic medication, employment and religion were viewed as protectors of relapse. Participants suggested strengthening mental health psychoeducation sessions and community home visits conducted by mental health nurses to help reduce relapse. Other suggestions included strengthening of nurse-patient therapeutic relationship in provision of mental health care. It is important for mental health nurses to strengthen their therapeutic relationships with patients and their caregivers. Regular individual psychoeducation sessions and community based interventions would help reduce relapse and mental health service ix costs. Further larger studies with more diverse sample of people with schizophrenia and their caregivers are necessary to understand the issue of relapse in patients with schizophrenia

    The medium of animation is a beautiful one that reflects life. So many things like music, lighting, art styles, and people, themselves, all come together to tell a story. Some can be fun and lighthearted like a romance or a comedy. Then, others can be more somber and dark like in a tragedy or thriller. Often it is those more somber ones that can stick with us, and looking to Japan brings a good example. After the effects of World War II, Japan was impacted greatly, and means to cope, they use the arts to deal with those pent-up emotions and send a message of how truly horrible those effects were. Though there are many pieces we could look at, we will be just looking at three: Pico-Don (1983), Graveyard of the Fireflies (1988), and In This Corner of the World (2016). By comparing and contrasting these films with each other, we can gain better enlightenment and understanding of the horrific effects of WWII and nuclear warfare had on the people of Japan. Moreover, we can hopefully come to further spread the message these pieces wish to give which relates to the idea of peace and unity among all people
