Políticas públicas de transferência de renda: uma reflexão sobre o programa bolsa família em Itumbiara (Goiás, Brasil)

Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o Programa Bolsa Família enquanto política de Transferência de Renda, entre os anos de 2004 e 2011, com foco na realidade de Itumbiara-GO. Partimos do princípio de que o Programa Bolsa Família faz parte de um conjunto de políticas públicas destinadas a reduzir as desigualdades sociais históricas da sociedade brasileira. Por conta disso, a partir da análise de caráter histórico social, a pesquisa busca entender o universo de beneficiários, de modo a identificar a importância do Programa Bolsa Família e sua contribuição para o fortalecimento e inclusão social das famílias de baixa renda. O trabalho foi produzido a partir de pesquisas bibliográficas, especialmente em artigos e livros especializados, fontes orais e consultas à instituição organizadora do programa na cidade de Itumbiara, a FUNSOL (Fundação de Solidariedade). Por outro lado, a pesquisa também aborda as condicionalidades do programa, ou seja, os compromissos que os beneficiários assumem para permanecer no programa

UMA ANÁLISE HISTORIOGRÁFICA DE QUENTIN SKINNER EM SUA OBRA “HOBBES E A LIBERDADE REPUBLICANA”

O presente artigo visa apresentar uma caracterização historiográfica, teórico-metodológica do historiador Quentin Skinner a partir do seu livro Hobbes e a Liberdade Republicana. Para isso, achamos necessário buscar alguns dados do autor, para perceber o seu "lugar social", entendendo assim, quais os aspectos fundamentais para a construção de sua narrativa. Skinner analisou os diferentes contextos da vida de Thomas Hobbes, seguindo a sua trajetória e observando as mudanças presentes nos seus diferentes escritos, ou seja, nas fontes que o pesquisador se apoiou para realizar tal trabalho, quais sejam os escritos de Hobbes intitulados de "Os elementos da lei, Do cidadão e o Leviatã".  

Application of Factor Analysis for Identification of Case Grouping in Mobile Telephony

With the opening of the market, competition in the Brazilian telephony sector has become fierce. In this new scenario, a fundamental issue emerges regarding to the evalu-ation of customers in order to the offer of services of providers. In this sense, the aim of this study is to apply factor analysis to describe a set of variables related to mobile consumer satis-faction by a smaller number of dimensions. The research was carried out with the help of SPSS software through which factor analysis was applied to create groupings of variables based on their relationship structure. The number of factors was chosen from the Kaiser criterion and the designated was the orthogonal rotation method - Varimax. The degree of explanation achieved by the two factors of the model corresponds to almost 69% of the variance of the original data. Thus, more than determining which indicators should be used to evaluate the results of mobile phone companies, factor analysis can be used to determine the importance in explaining the variables related to customer satisfaction that uses these services.

GRUPOS ETNICOS ITALIANOS, RELIGIOSIDADE E NEGOCIAÇÃO DE IDENTIDADES NA REGIÃO CENTRAL DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL

O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a relação que se estabelece entre os grupos étnicos italianos, a religiosidade e a negociação de identidades na Quarta Colônia de Imigração Italiana, particularmente no atual município de Silveira Martins, Rio Grande do Sul.  Com esse intento o texto está subdividido em três partes: a primeira aborda as noções de grupo étnico, raça e nação; a segunda, a negociação da identidade do imigrante pelos grupos étnicos italianos; e a terceira aborda o papel da religiosidade na negociação da identidade do imigrante destacando o contexto da Igreja Católica no Brasil e no Rio Grande do Sul do século XIX

Architecture proposal for deploying and integrating intelligent models in ABI

The integration of Adaptive Business Intelligence systems in healthcare has garnered significant attention due to their potential to manage the ever-growing volume of healthcare data and enhance the quality of care provided to society. ABI systems also play a crucial role in supporting hospital administrators in making strategic decisions. To facilitate the transparency and interoperability of these solutions, the scientific community has embarked on various studies to develop technologic architectures capable of meeting the complex requirements of healthcare settings. One of the key challenges in adopting this technology is the creation and integration of prediction and optimization models in an automated and semi-autonomous manner. This article presents a novel and robust microservices architecture designed to streamline the deployment of intelligent models and seamlessly integrate them within the ABI system. This paper begins by introducing the problem of deploying and integrating intelligent models into ABI systems, providing essential context on ABI systems within the healthcare domain. Subsequently, it details the proposed architecture, outlining its technical approaches and highlighting the advantages it brings to the healthcare ecosystem. Finally, the paper concludes by summarizing the contributions and future directions for research in this critical area, emphasizing the potential impact of this architecture on improving healthcare intelligence systems.This research was funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, within the Project Scope: UIDB/00319/202

Sugar and fodder beets agronomic evaluation

Num período de quatro anos de experimentação na EMBRAPA/CNPT, várias cultivares de beterraba (Beta vulgaris L.) foram testadas, mostrando boa adaptação no Planalto Rio-grandense. O rendimento médio de raiz obtido (34 t/ha) e o teor de açúcar (16,4%) foram próximos e superiores aos dos países tradicionalmente produtores, respetivamente, 30 t/ha e 15%. Em face disto, a beterraba pode ser considerada como boa opção para a produção de álcool nesta região. O rendimento médio estimado foi de 2.771 litros/ha.During a four-year period of experimentation at the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Trigo at Passo Fundo, RS, Brazil, several beet cultivars showed good adaptation to the conditions in the region of the highlands of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Root yields (34 t/ha) and sugar content (16.4%) were, respectively, near and superior to traditionally producer countries (30 t/ha e 15%). Hence, beets may be considered an alternative crop for alcohol production in this region. Estimated average yield of alcohol reached 2,771 liters/ha
