PREVALENSI Eimeria spp. PADA TERNAK KELINCI
This study was aimed to determine the prevalence of Eimeria spp., to determine the differences in the prevalence of Eimeria spp. in rabbits of various ages and to know the species of Eimeria spp. which infect rabbits of various ages in Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. The main objects of observation were weaning rabbits (1-5 weeks), weaning (6-24 weeks) and adults (24 weeks). The research method used is survey method with purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the method of description and chi square. The sample used was rabbit feces as much as 5 grams per head with a sample of 96 rabbits in three age periods each totaling 32 rabbits. The results of the analysis showed that the prevalence of Eimeria spp. in rabbits the weaning period was 96.88%, after weaning was 96.88% and adults were 78.13%, and the prevalence of Eimeria spp. overall by 90.62%. The species Eimeria spp. that infect rabbits are Eimeria exigua, Eimeria perforans, Eimeria piriformis, Eimeria flavescens, Eimeria stiedai, Eimeria intestinalis, Eimeria media, Eimeria coecicola and Eimeria magna. P0.05 indicates that there is a difference in the prevalence of Eimeria spp. in rabbits of various ages in Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. Prevalence of Eimeria spp. very significant effect on weaning, weaning and adult rabbits
Suplementasi Heit-Chrose pada Pakan Sapi Perah Pre-Partum Ditinjau dari Profil Darah dan Recovery Bobot Tubuh Post-Partum
(Pre-partum supplementation of heit-chrose on post-partum blood profile and recovery of body weight of dairy cows)ABSTRACT. This study aimed to determine the profile of blood, metabolic enzymes and recovery of body weight in dairy cows fed diet supplemented with Heit-CHrose (Feed supplement containing saponins, allicin, organic mineral: Se, Cr, and Zn). The experiments were conducted with 4 treatments, R0 : control diet (CP 13,79% and TDN 67,2%), R1 : R0 supplemented with organic minerals (Cr 1,5 ppm; Se 0,3 ppm; Zn-Lyzinat 40 ppm), R2 : Ro supplemented with Heit-CHrose are given in the component feeding, and R3 : Ro supplemented with Heit-CHrose are given in total mixed ration (TMR). Data were tested using analysis of variance with a completely randomized design using four replications, and HSD test. The results showed that the supplementation of Heit-CHrose to the diet of dairy cows gave significant effect (P 0.01) on blood glucose and recovery of body weight, but had no effect (P 0.05) on hemoglobin, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), total protein and blood cholesterol and metabolic enzyme (alkali phospatase). Supplementation of Heit Chrose in dairy cows diet with component feeding and TMR increases blood glucose and recovery of body weight
STUDI KASUS TINGKAT INFEKSI CACING PADA PETERNAKAN KAMBING BOER DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS
The worm infections can cause a decrease in livestock productivity, were in the form of a decrease in body weight, milk production, growth restriction, decrease immunity to disease, even death. Research on worm disease in Boer goats aims to determine the infection rate of Nematodiasis and Trematodiasis in goats with various age levels, young and adult age groups. This research method is survey with sampling technique is sampling by the judgment. The data analysis of the research was prevalence study and Chi-Square analysis (X2). The examination of worm eggs in feces on the research used centrifuge method. The results of examination on 30 samples of Boer goats showed that 93.33% of Boer goats were infected by Nematodes and 13.33% of Boer goats were infected by Trematoda. Infection rates of Nematodes and Trematoda were not showed any significant differences between the two groups. The low level of Trematodiasis in Boer goats indicates that Boer goats in Banyumas district are resistant to Trematoda worm infections. Corporate Social Responsibility for takaful industry’s branding image
This study attempts to confirm the likelihood of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities giving different effects on
brand image components and whether corporate reputation mediates these effects. Four action-based types of CSR, namely
the economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic, were analyzed and tested in this study. This study employs quantitative
method of analysis whereby the participants were exposed to different treatments and the brand image was divided into
an affective, specific and generic cognitive elements. A total of 327 (N = 2110) stakeholders of Takaful; the agents/
operators in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia were involved. Using the Structural Equation Model analysis, the affective
component of the brand image showed a greater impact on the commitment towards the four types of CSR as compared
to the others. The results revealed that the economic and philanthropic CSR activities significantly led to a more positive
level of both brand image components and corporate reputation management than legal and ethical CSR activities. In
addition, brand image has positively influenced the betterment of corporate reputation management. These findings have
