Geoantineutrino Spectrum, 3He/4He-ratio Distribution in the Earth's Interior and Slow Nuclear Burning on the Boundary of the Liquid and Solid Phases of the Earth's Core

The description problem of geoantineutrino spectrum and reactor antineutrino experimental spectrum in KamLAND, which takes place for antineutrino energy \~2.8 MeV, and also the experimental results of the interaction of uranium dioxide and carbide with iron-nickel and silicaalumina melts at high pressure (5-10 GP?) and temperature (1600-2200C) have motivated us to consider the possible consequences of the assumption made by V.Anisichkin and coauthors that there is an actinid shell on boundary of liquid and solid phases of the Earth's core. We have shown that the activation of a natural nuclear reactor operating as the solitary waves of nuclear burning in 238U- and/or 232Th-medium (in particular, the neutron- fission progressive wave of Feoktistov and/or Teller-Ishikawa-Wood) can be such a physical consequence. The simplified model of the kinetics of accumulation and burnup in U-Pu fuel cycle of Feoktistov is developed. The results of the numerical simulation of neutron-fission wave in two-phase UO2/Fe medium on a surface of the Earth's solid core are presented. The georeactor model of 3He origin and the 3He/4He-ratio distribution in the Earth's interior is offered. It is shown that the 3He/4He ratio distribution can be the natural quantitative criterion of georeactor thermal power. On the basis of O'Nions-Evensen-Hamilton geochemical model of mantle differentiation and the crust growth supplied by actinid shell on the boundary of liquid and solid phases of the Earth's core as a nuclear energy source (georeactor with power of 30 TW), the tentative estimation of geoantineutrino intensity and geoantineutrino spectrum on the Earth surface are given.Comment: 28 pages, 12 figures. Boundary value problems for the diffusion equation of the variable order in differential and difference settings

Solutions of boundary value problems for a diffusion equation of fractional and variable order in differential and difference settings are studied. It is shown that the method of energy inequalities is applicable to obtaining a priori estimates for these problems exactly as in the classical case. The credibility of the obtained results is verified by performing numerical calculations for a test problem.Comment: 19 pages. Presented at the 4-th IFAC Workshop on Fractional Differentiation and Its Applications, Badajoz, Spain, October 18-20, 201

Efficacy of the cognitive deficiency prophylaxis was studied in patients, suffering stenotic affection of carotid arteries. Application of intraoperative neuroprotection, using neoton, have permitted to reduce the reperfusion syndrome signs rate from 35.6 to 3.4%, аnd the cognitive deficiency level as well, causing the general occurrence risk of intraoperative or early morbidity lowering. It is expedient to apply the multidisciplinary approach for guaranteeing of adequate quality of clinical monitoring for cognitive functions

The main idea of this thesis is twofold: first of all to develop utilization processes for used tires and, second, to study and explain the serious ecological problems in the tire recycling and waste utilization sector in Russia. This thesis was commissioned by a recycling firm called Istra Ecologia Company. The thesis presents improvements in a tire recycling machine owned by this company. The owner of the plant has developed a modernized version of the system, and seems to have solved some difficult challenges that exist in the current plant. The work for this thesis involved making an in-depth analysis of the feasibility of the new plant with an eye on financial and ecological performance, as well as on investment and profitability questions. Nevertheless, due to outdated technical solutions, the equipment and the used processes certainly have some technological challenges still to be solved in order to optimize the whole process, taking into account not only the end products but also keeping an eye on sustainable development. In this work, the specific features and the operation of the old plant are discussed in detail. Furthermore, a full analysis of the pyrolysis process is presented, including the properties of the products, as well as the technical and financial figures. The work de-scribes the main components and layout of the old plant utilized for processing used tires and rubber products. Also, the working process itself is described, including infor-mation about the environmental impact of the plant. Quantitative and qualitative meth-ods have been used in this research. In this thesis, the main problems with tire recycling in Russia have been explained to the reader. A comparative analysis of different methods of tire recycling has been con-ducted in order to enable the reader to understand the pros and cons of each method separately. The characteristics of the old recycling machine have been explained in detail and the modifications have been presented. The results shows that emissions have been minimized and productivity has increased. It should also be noted that improvement in the quality of pyrolysis products has also been achieved
