On the number of eigenvalues of SchrΓΆdinger operators with complex potentials
We study the eigenvalues of SchrΓΆdinger operators with complex potentials in odd space dimensions. We obtain bounds on the total number of eigenvalues in the case where VV decays exponentially at infinity

Event cognition from the perspective of cognitive development
Event cognition is a rapidly developing and promising
research area. Meanwhile, some domains are not considered in
detail in this scope. In particular, event cognition is not
precisely explored from the perspective of cognitive
development. In this paper, we compare the capacity to cut a
visual narrative into events for kindergarten students, primary
school students, high school students and adults. βThe pear
filmβ by W. Chafe (1975) is used as the material for our
experiment. We also examine a correlation between event
comprehension and other cognitive skills for primary school
students. Our work provides clear evidence that, in contrast
with high school students and adults, kindergarten students
and primary school students perceive visual narrative on the
surface level
Asymmetric collisions in MadGraph5_aMC@NLO
We will gain unprecedented, high-accuracy insights into the internal structure of the atomic nucleus thanks to lepton-hadron collision studies in the coming years at the Electron-Ion-Collider (EIC) in the United States. A good control of radiative corrections is necessary for the EIC to be fully exploited and to extract valuable information from various measurements. We present our extension of photoproduction at fixed order in MadGraph5_aMC@NLO, a widely used framework for (next-to-)leading order calculations at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It applies to electron-hadron collisions, in which the quasi-real photon comes from an electron as well as to proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions
An evolution equation as the WKB correction in long-time asymptotics of Schrodinger dynamics
We consider 3d Schrodinger operator with long-range potential that has
short-range radial derivative. The long-time asymptotics of non-stationary
problem is studied and existence of modified wave operators is proved. It turns
out, the standard WKB correction should be replaced by the solution to certain
evolution equation.Comment: This is a preprint of an article whose final and definitive form has

Ozone responses in Arabidopsis : beyond stomatal conductance
Tropospheric ozone (O-3) is a major air pollutant that decreases yield of important crops worldwide. Despite long-lasting research of its negative effects on plants, there are many gaps in our knowledge on how plants respond to O-3. In this study, we used natural variation in the model plant Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) to characterize molecular and physiological mechanisms underlying O-3 sensitivity. A key parameter in models for O-3 damage is stomatal uptake. Here we show that the extent of O-3 damage in the sensitive Arabidopsis accession Shahdara (Sha) does not correspond with O-3 uptake, pointing toward stomata-independent mechanisms for the development of O-3 damage. We compared tolerant (Col-0) versus sensitive accessions (Sha, Cvi-0) in assays related to photosynthesis, cell death, antioxidants, and transcriptional regulation. Acute O-3 exposure increased cell death, development of lesions in the leaves, and decreased photosynthesis in sensitive accessions. In both Sha and Cvi-0, O-3-induced lesions were associated with decreased maximal chlorophyll fluorescence and low quantum yield of electron transfer from Photosystem II to plastoquinone. However, O-3-induced repression of photosynthesis in these two O-3-sensitive accessions developed in different ways. We demonstrate that O-3 sensitivity in Arabidopsis is influenced by genetic diversity given that Sha and Cvi-0 developed accession-specific transcriptional responses to O-3. Our findings advance the understanding of plant responses to O-3 and set a framework for future studies to characterize molecular and physiological mechanisms allowing plants to respond to high O-3 levels in the atmosphere as a result of high air pollution and climate change.Peer reviewe
Hysteroscopic metroplasty: current status of the problem
Hysteroscopic metroplasty is very important for the restoration of the normal anatomy of the uterus, creation of the conditions for favorable obstetric outcomes. This review of the current scientific papers on the topic summarizes the data on the indications, preoperative preparation, and techniques of hysteroscopic metroplasty. It also presents the information on the approaches to the evaluation of the effectiveness of this kind of surgery, peculiarities of the postoperative care, preventive treatment of the intra- and postoperative complications. The paper provides state-of-the art information on the importance of the hysteroscopic metroplasty for the reproductive health of a woman and peculiarities of the gestation course after the dissection of the intrauterine septum.ΠΠΈΡΡΠ΅ΡΠΎΡΠΊΠΎΠΏΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠ°Ρ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΡΠΎΠΏΠ»Π°ΡΡΠΈΠΊΠ° ΠΈΠΌΠ΅Π΅Ρ Π²Π°ΠΆΠ½ΠΎΠ΅ Π·Π½Π°ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ Π΄Π»Ρ Π²ΠΎΡΡΡΠ°Π½ΠΎΠ²Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ Π½ΠΎΡΠΌΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ Π°Π½Π°ΡΠΎΠΌΠΈΠΈ ΠΌΠ°ΡΠΊΠΈ, ΡΠΎΠ·Π΄Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΡΡΠ»ΠΎΠ²ΠΈΠΉ Π΄Π»Ρ Π±Π»Π°Π³ΠΎΠΏΡΠΈΡΡΠ½ΡΡ
