EINSATZ VON HILFSMITTELN BEIM ÜBERSETZEN VON EINEM DEUTSCHEN GERICHTSURTEIL VS. DIE KORREKTHEIT DER ÜBERSETZUNG

W niniejszym artykule omówiono wady i zalety wykorzystywania wybranych źródeł wiedzy tłumacza (słowników, tekstów paralelnych oraz zasobów internetowych) w przekładzie, przedstawiono wyniki eksperymentu z zakresu dydaktyki przekładu specjalistycznego i płynące z niego implikacje praktyczne dla prowadzenia zajęć z przekładu specjalistycznego oraz kształcenia u adeptów zawodu tłumacza umiejętności efektywnego wykorzystywania dostępnych źródeł wiedzy podczas tłumaczenia tekstów prawniczych ‒ wyroków sądowych.This article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the use of selected sources of the knowledge of translator (dictionaries, parallel texts and online resources) in translation, the results of the experiments in the scope of specialized translation teaching and the practical implications resulting for carrying out classes of specialist translations and educating translators of the ability to make effective use of the available sources of knowledge when trans-lating legal texts ‒ court judgments.In diesem Beitrag werden Vorteile und Nachteile bestimmter Hilfsmittel (Wörterbücher, Paralleltexte und Internetquellen) beim Übersetzen besprochen. Die Autorin des Beitrags stellt Ergebnisse eines Experiments dar, das die Fachübersetzungs-Didaktik betrifft. Ferner werden die sich aus diesem Experiment ergebenden praktischen Implikationen für Fachübersetzungsun-terricht diskutiert. Außerdem wird auch ihr Einsatz bei der Ausbildung von angehenden Übersetzern prӓsentiert, um ihnen zu zeigen, wie man die geg-ebenen Hilfsmittel beim Übersetzen von Rechtstexten (Gerichtsurteilen) effek-tiv einsetzen kann

JURISTISCHE PHRASEOLOGIE IM KONTEXT DER POLNISCH-DEUTSCHEN RECHTSÜBERSETZUNG – NEUE MONOGRAPHIE VON PAWEŁ BIELAWSKI

In diesem Artikel wird versucht, eine komplexe Beurteilung der neuen Monographie von Paweł Bielawski durchzuführen. Diesem Ziel folgend ist dieser Beitrag in vier Teile aufgeteilt. Den ersten Teil bildet die Einleitung. Im zweiten Teil werden die theoretischen Inhalte beschrieben, die vom Autor der Monographie in den einzelnen Kapiteln vorgestellt wurden. Im dritten Teil wird die Monographie in Hinsicht auf deren Struktur, editorische Aspekte und Literaturauswahl beurteilt. Den möglichen Rezipientengruppen und den Vorteilen dieser Monographie im Kontext der genannten Gruppen ist der letzte Teil des Artikels gewidmet. Małopolska chmura edukacyjna jako (nie)optymalna forma doskonalenia zawodowego tłumaczy przysięgłych w Małopolsce

The first part of the article undertakes topics related to sworn translators’ (TP) statutory obligation to improve professional qualifications, and forms of fulfilment of this obligation. Next, a summary of available forms of professional development for sworn translators in the Małopolska region was presented and the advantages and disadvantages of each of them were detailed. In the further part of the article, a short description of the project ‘Małopolska Educational Cloud ‒ new teaching model’ was made (MChE) with considerations regarding the possibility of organising a form of CPH training for sworn translators based on online classes as part of the MChE. What is more, this part presents the concept of a semester course for sworn translators from Małopolska, aimed to improve their competences in the field of preparing certified translations. The final part of the article presents the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed form of development, taking into account the already discussed professional development offers for sworn translators from the Małopolska Voivodeship. W pierwszej części artykułu podjęto tematykę dotyczącą ustawowego obowiązku doskonalenia kwalifikacji zawodowych przez tłumaczy przysięgłych (TP) oraz form realizacji tego obowiązku. Następnie przedstawiono zestawienie dostępnych form doskonalenia zawodowego dla TP z terenu Małopolski oraz wyszczególniono wady i zalety każdej z nich. W dalszej części artykułu dokonano krótkiej charakterystyki projektu „Małopolska Chmura Edukacyjna – nowy model nauczania” (MChE) i podjęto rozważania dotyczące możliwości zorganizowania formy doskonalenia zawodowego dla TP na bazie zajęć online prowadzonych w ramach MChE. Ponadto w tej części przedstawiono autorską koncepcję kursu semestralnego dla TP z Małopolski, doskonalącego kompetencje w zakresie sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych. W końcowej części artykułu przedstawiono wady i zalety zaproponowanej formy doskonalenia z uwzględnieniem już omówionych ofert doskonalenia zawodowego dla TP z województwa małopolskiego

POLNISCHE UND DEUTSCHE BRANCHENRICHTLINIEN FÜR DIE ANFERTIGUNG VON BEGLAUBIGTEN ÜBERSETZUNGEN IM KONTRASTIVEN VERGLEICH ‒ PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE FÜR DIE ANFERTIGUNG VON BEGLAUBIGTEN ÜBERSETZUNGEN POLNISCHER UND DEUTSCHER GERICHTSURTEILE

W niniejszym artykule autorka dokonuje kontrastywnego porównania polskich wytycznych branżowych dotyczących sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych zawartych w Kodeksie tłumacza przysięgłego z następującymi wytycznymi niemieckimi: Richtlinien und Hinweise für die Anfertigung von Urkundenübersetzungen oraz Empfehlungen für die Anfertigung bestätigter/beglaubigter Übersetzungen. Następnie wyniki powyższego porównania odnosi do wykonywania tłumaczeń poświadczonych polskich oraz niemieckich wyroków sądowych.In the paper, the author undertakes a contrasting comparison of Polish industry guidelines for the preparation of certified translations contained in the Sworn translator's code with the following German guidelines: Richtlinien und Hinweise für die Anfertigung von Urkunden-übersetzungen and Empfehlungen für die Anfertigung bestätigter/beglaubigter Übersetzungen. Next, the results of the above comparison are referred to the certified translation of Polish and German court judgments.In diesem Artikel werden polnische Branchenrichtlinien für die Anfertigung von beglaubigten Übersetzungen mit deutschen Branchen-richtlinien in kontrastiver Hinsicht verglichen. Die polnischen Richtlinien stammen aus dem Kodex der vereidigten Dolmetscher und Übersetzer (Kodeks tłumacza przysięgłego) und die deutschen aus zwei Branchen-dokumenten, nämlich: Richtlinien und Hinweise für die Anfertigung von Urkundenübersetzungen und Empfehlungen für die Anfertigung bestätigter/beglaubigter Übersetzungen. Anschließend bezieht die Autorin die Ergebnisse des kontrastiven Vergleichs auf die Anfertigung von beglaubigten Übersetzungen polnischer und deutscher Gerichtsurteile

A small lexicon of professional didactics of German as a foreign language. Occupational theory and practice

The article presents a detailed analysis of the professional lexicon of didactics in German as a foreign language prepared by Renata Czaplikowska and Artur Dariusz Kubacki. During assessment of the publication, primarily its thematic scope and usefulness on the publishing market were considered, with a view to other already available publications related to a similar thematic scope. Furthermore, the article evaluates the accuracy of phrases’ selection, the manner of presenting content contained in the lexicon, substantive values, whilst taking into account diverse target groups for which this publication may constitute a valuable source of knowledge. The summary of the article contains a comprehensive evaluation of the publication which constitutes an interesting item on the Polish publishing market

The Use of Modern Technologies in Promoting the independence of students: Based on the Example of Teaching Formal Rules for the Preparation of Certified Translations Contained in the Sworn Translator’s Code

W artykule została podjęta kwestia zasadności nauczania formalnych zasad sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych na zajęciach translatorycznych. Z wykorzystaniem metody porównawczej zostały przeanalizowane przepisy prawne dotyczące wykonywania zawodu tłumacza przysięgłego w Polsce oraz sposobu przeprowadzania egzaminu na tłumacza przysięgłego, a także dokumenty branżowe dotyczące sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych. Analiza jednoznacznie uwidoczniła, że znajomość formalnych zasad sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych jest kluczowa w kontekście przystępowania do egzaminu na tłumacza przysięgłego oraz sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych w ramach własnej praktyki tłumaczeniowej. Ponadto autorka ilustruje sposób nauczania formalnych zasad sporządzania tłumaczeń poświadczonych zawartych w Kodeksie zawodowym tłumacza przysięgłego z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych narzędzi edukacyjnych, takich jak Quizlet i Socrative, co stanowi alternatywę dla tzw. uczenia się na pamięć. Autorka dowodzi, że odpowiednie wykorzystanie narzędzi edukacyjnych na zajęciach translatorycznych może stanowić wsparcie procesu nauczania na uczelniach wyższych i czynić go bardziej atrakcyjnym dla uczących się.This paper attempts to undertake a reflection on the validity of teaching the formal guidelines of preparing certified translations during translation classes. The comparative method was used to analyze the legal provisions regarding the profession of a sworn translator in Poland and the manner of conducting the examination for sworn translators, as well as industry documents regarding the preparation of certified translations. The analysis explicitly demonstrated that the knowledge of the formal principles for preparing certified translations is crucial in the context of examinations for sworn translators and preparing certified translations as part of one’s own practice. Furthermore, the author illustrates the method of teaching the formal guidelines for preparing certified translations contained in the Sworn Translator’s Code with the use of modern educational tools, such as Quizlet and Socrative, which represents an alternative to memorization. The author proves that the appropriate use of educational tools during translation classes may support the teaching process at universities and make it more attractive for learners
