Summarization of News Articles

Automatická sumarizace textu je důležitý úkol z oboru zpracování přirozeného jazyka s mnoha aplikacemi. V této práci se zaměřujeme na sumarizaci novinových článků. V práci představujeme nový sumarizační dataset vytvořený z článků ČTK. Na tomto datasetu jsme natrénovali některé z nejmodernějších modelů pro extraktivní sumarizaci s využitím neuronových sítí BERT a Longformer a zhodnotili je podle metrik ROUGE-N, ROUGE-L a BertScore. Z experimentů vyplývá, že nejlepší model dle BertScore je založený na předtrénovaném Longformeru (0.802), ale lze jej využít jen pokud je dopředu znám či zadán počet vět ve shrnutí. Pokud tato informace k dispozici není, nejlepším přístupem se jeví klasifikace jednotlivých vět s kontextem a pozičními metadaty pomocí předtrénovaného modelu BERT (0.79).ObhájenoAutomatic text summarization is an important NLP task with many applications. Our particular area of focus is summarization of news articles. We introduce a new Czech summarization dataset created from CNA articles. Using this dataset, we trained multiple state-of-the-art approaches for extractive summarization using the BERT and Longformer model architectures and evaluate them using ROUGE-N, ROUGE-L and BertScore. We found that a pretrained Czech Longformer is the best approach regarding BertScore (0.802), when the number of summary sentences is known. If it is unknown, we found that the best approach is sentence-wise classification with context and positional metadata using a pretrained Czech BERT (BertScore 0.79)

The engine unit of a telescopic loader

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a výběrem motorové jednotky teleskopického nakladače dle zadaných parametrů. První část se věnuje rešeršnímu rozboru a srovnání teleskopických manipulátorů podobné hmotnostní kategorie. Druhá část obsahuje návrhový výpočet výkonu motoru potřebného pro různé režimy stroje. Závěrem je pak výběr vhodné motorové jednotky vzhledem k vypočítaným hodnotám výkonů.This work deals with design and selection of telescopic loader engine unit according to given parameters. The first part deals with the research analysis and comparison of telescopic manipulators of similar weight category. The second part contains a design calculation of engine power needed for different machine modes. Finally, select the appropriate motor unit with respect to the calculated power values.

Systems for special repair materials for hygienically clean industrial plants

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem nového řešení systému správkových hmot pro hygienicky čisté průmyslové provozy, který je určený pro reprofilace a sanace poškozených betonových stavebních částí. Cílem práce je vyvinout materiál, který bude mít vysoké přídržnosti k podkladu, rychlý nárůst pevností, vysoké výsledné pevnosti s omezeným smrštěním a vysokou chemickou odolnost při zachování antibakteriálního účinku.This bachelor thesis is concerned with new system of special repair materials for hygienically clean industrial plants, which is designed for reprofiling and rehabilitation of damaged concrete structural parts. The thesis aims to develop a material, which will have high adhesion, rapid strength growth, high final strength with limited shrinkage and high chemical resistance while keeping its antibacterial properties.

Frame of lift

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na několik částí osobního elektrického trakčního výtahu. Hlavním úkolem je navrhnout koncepci rámu pro výtahový stroj Sassi Toro s odkláněcí kladkou pro nosnosti 1000 až 1600 kg. Je nezbytné provést výpočet trakční schopnosti na hnacím lanovém kotouči stroje. Na základě těchto hodnot jsme schopni určit maximální rozteč nosných lan mezi hnacím kotoučem a odkláněcí kladkou.This bachelor´s thesis is oriented around several parts of electrical traction passenger lift. The main task is to design the conception of lift frame for the lift machine Sassi Toro with a deflector for a loading capacity of 1000 to 1600 kilos. It´s necessary to make a calculation of traction on driving sheave of machine. On the base of these values we are able to asses a maximum ropes distance between the driving sheave and deflector.

Development of special protective materials for hygienically clean areas

Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem speciálních ochranných hmot pro hygienicky čisté provozy. Hlavním cílem práce je vyvinout speciální ochranné hmoty na polymerní bázi využitelné pro hygienicky čisté provozy ve dvou kvalitativních úrovních (economy a premium). První z vyvíjených polymerních ochranných hmot je fyziologicky nezávadný (economy) – vhodný pro styk s poživatinami. Druhý, prémiový materiál je antibakteriální, vhodný především jako nátěr na podlahy nemocnic, kuchyní, sociálních zařízení, škol a školek atd. Dílčím cílem je nahrazení v současnosti využívaných primárních surovin jako plniv vhodnými druhotnými surovinami.The diploma thesis deals with the development of special protective materials for hygienically clean plants. The main aim of the thesis is to develop a special protective material on a polymer base usable for hygienically clean industrial plants in two quality levels (economy and premium). The first of the developed polymer protective materials is physiologically harmless (economy) – suitable for contact with eatables. Second, premium material is antibacterial, especially suitable as a floor coating in hospitals, kitchens, sanitary facilities, schools and kindergarten etc. A partial aim is the replacement currently used primary raw materials as fillers by suitable secondary raw material.

Value of ecosystem services and nature protection in the Czech Republi

Results from financial evaluation show that forest ecosystems provide more ecosystem services compared to other ecosystems, because they tend to the maximal use of energy-material flows with minimal water and nutrient losses. Finacial value of ecosystem services exceed dramatically benefit from land use for economic purposes

Valuation of ecosystem services on example of river alluvial land

In the first decade of 21st century the concept of ecosystem services became one of the most frequently used, especially in interdisciplinary research activities tied with the Earth and life sciences. However, only slightly this concept penetrated into the real advanced market economies that consume decisive part of world natural resources and ecosystem services. In this paper the causes of current unsatisfactory situation in ecosystem service values implementation are analyzed, main valuation methods are described and specified on example of ecosystem services of river alluvial land.
