Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi Kasus Pada Rumah Sakit Yarsis Surakarta)
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Mengatuhui apakah variabel budaya organisasi yang terdiri dari (inovasi dan keberanian mengambil risiko, perhatian terhadap hal rinci, berorientasi pada hasil, berorientasi pada manusia, berorientasi pada tim, agresivitas, dan stabilitas) mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara parsial; 2) Mengetahui manakah diantara variabel budaya organisasi terdiri dari (inovasi dan keberanian mengambil risiko, perhatian terhadap hal rinci, berorientasi pada hasil, berorientasi pada manusia, berorientasi pada tim, agresivitas, dan stabilitas) yang berpengaruh paling dominan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 85 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling atau pengambilan sampel yang berdasarkan pertimbangan dan criteria tertentu. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas dan uji heterokedastisitas. Dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji signifikansi secara bersama-sama (Uji-F) dan uji signifikansi secara parsial (Uji-t) serta koefisien Determinasi (R²).
Hasil penelitian : 1) Analisis secara bersama-sama menunjukan variabel budaya organisasi yang terdiri dari inovasi dan keberanian mengambil risiko, perhatian terhadap hal rinci, berorientasi pada hasil, berorientasi pada manusia, berorientasi pada tim, agresifitas, dan stabilitas berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di Rumah Sakit Islam Surakarta; 2) Analisis secara parsial menunjukkan variabel inovasi dan keberanian mengambil risiko, perhatian terhadap hal rinci, berorientasi pada manusia, berorientasi pada tim berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan variabel berorientasi pada hasil, agresifitas dan stabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap kineja karyawan; 3) Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel berorientasi pada tim memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap kinerja karyawan. 4) Koefisien determinasi (adjusted R²) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,23
Mass inflation in f(R) gravity: A conjecture on the resolution of the mass inflation singularity
We study gravitational collapse of a charged black hole in f(R) gravity using
double-null formalism. We require cosmological stability to f(R) models; we
used the Starobinsky model and the R + (1/2)cR^2 model. Charged black holes in
f(R) gravity can have a new type of singularity due to higher curvature
corrections, the so-called f(R)-induced singularity, although it is highly
model-dependent. As the advanced time increases, the internal structure will
approach the Cauchy horizon, which may not be an inner apparent horizon. There
is mass inflation as one approaches the Cauchy horizon and hence the Cauchy
horizon may be a curvature singularity with nonzero area. However, the Ricci
scalar is finite for an out-going null observer. This can be integrated as
follows: Cosmologically stable higher curvature corrections of the Ricci scalar
made it bounded even in the presence of mass inflation. Finally, we conjecture
that if there is a general action including general higher curvature
corrections with cosmological stability, then the corrections can make all
curvature components finite even in the presence of mass inflation. This might
help us to resolve the problem of inner horizon instability of regular black

Dynamics of false vacuum bubbles: beyond the thin shell approximation
We numerically study the dynamics of false vacuum bubbles which are inside an
almost flat background; we assumed spherical symmetry and the size of the
bubble is smaller than the size of the background horizon. According to the
thin shell approximation and the null energy condition, if the bubble is
outside of a Schwarzschild black hole, unless we assume Farhi-Guth-Guven
tunneling, expanding and inflating solutions are impossible. In this paper, we
extend our method to beyond the thin shell approximation: we include the
dynamics of fields and assume that the transition layer between a true vacuum
and a false vacuum has non-zero thickness. If a shell has sufficiently low
energy, as expected from the thin shell approximation, it collapses (Type 1).
However, if the shell has sufficiently large energy, it tends to expand. Here,
via the field dynamics, field values of inside of the shell slowly roll down to
the true vacuum and hence the shell does not inflate (Type 2). If we add
sufficient exotic matters to regularize the curvature near the shell, inflation
may be possible without assuming Farhi-Guth-Guven tunneling. In this case, a
wormhole is dynamically generated around the shell (Type 3). By tuning our
simulation parameters, we could find transitions between Type 1 and Type 2, as
well as between Type 2 and Type 3. Between Type 2 and Type 3, we could find
another class of solutions (Type 4). Finally, we discuss the generation of a
bubble universe and the violation of unitarity. We conclude that the existence
of a certain combination of exotic matter fields violates unitarity.Comment: 40 pages, 41 figure
Influence of the pavement surface on the vibrations induced by heavy traffic in road bridges
The irregularity of the pavement surface governs the traffic-induced vibrations in road bridges, but it is either ignored or simulated by means of ideal pavements that differ significantly from real cases. This work presents a detailed dynamic analysis of a heavy truck crossing a 40-m span composite deck bridge using on-site measurements of different existing road profiles, as well as code-based ideal pavements. By activating or deactivating certain spatial frequency bands of the pavement, it is observed that the ranges 0.2 - 1 and 0.02 - 0.2 cycles/m are critical for the comfort of the pedestrians and the vehicle users, respectively. Well maintained roads with low values of the displacement Power Spectral Density (PSD) associated with these spatial frequency ranges could reduce significantly the vibration on the sidewalks and, specially, in the vehicle cabin. Finally, a consistent road categorisation for vibration assessment based on the PSD of the pavement irregularity evaluated at the dominant frequencies is proposed
Recent trends and potential drivers of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging use in the United States of America and England
Background: Non-invasive Cardiovascular imaging (NICI), including cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging provides important information to guide the management of patients with cardiovascular conditions. Current rates of NICI use and potential policy determinants in the United States of America (US) and England remain unexplored. Methods: We compared NICI activity in the US (Medicare fee-for-service, 2011–2015) and England (National Health Service, 2012–2016). We reviewed recommendations related to CMR from Clinical Practice Guidelines, Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC), and Choosing Wisely. We then categorized recommendations according to whether CMR was the only recommended NICI technique (substitutable indications). Reimbursement policies in both settings were systematically collated and reviewed using publicly available information. Results: The 2015 rate of NICI activity in the US was 3.1 times higher than in England (31,055 vs. 9,916 per 100,000 beneficiaries). The proportion of CMR of all NICI was small in both jurisdictions, but nuclear cardiac imaging was more frequent in the US in absolute and relative terms. American and European CPGs were similar, both in terms of number of recommendations and proportions of indications where CMR was not the only recommended NICI technique (substitutable indications). Reimbursement schemes for NICI activity differed for physicians and hospitals between the two settings. Conclusions: Fee-for-service physician compensation in the US for NICI may contribute to higher NICI activity compared to England where physicians are salaried. Reimbursement arrangements for the performance of the test may contribute to the higher proportion of nuclear cardiac imaging out of the total NICI activity. Differences in CPG recommendations appear not to explain the variation in NICI activity between the US and England
Impurity state in the vortex core of d-wave superconductors: Anderson impurity model versus unitary impurity model
Using an extended Anderson/Kondo impurity model to describe the magnetic
moments around an impurity doped in high- d-wave cuprates and in
the framework of the slave-boson meanfield approach, we study numerically the
impurity state in the vortex core by exact diagonalization of the
well-established Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. The low-energy impurity state
is found to be good agreement with scanning tunnelingmicroscopy observation.
After pinning a vortex on the impurity site, we compare the unitary impurity
model with the extended Anderson impurity model by examining the effect of the
magnetic field on the impurity state. We find that the impurity resonance in
the unitary impurity model is strongly suppressed by the vortex; while it is
insensitive to the field in the extended Anderson impurity model.Comment: 8 pages, 3 figure
Prednisone treatment of elderly-onset rheumatoid arthritis: Disease activity and bone mass in comparison with chloroquine treatment
Objective. Prednisone is frequently used in the treatment of elderly-onset rheumatoid arthritis (RA), but the balance between efficacy and toxicity, including the effect on bone mass, has not been investigated in long-term studies. This prospective, randomized study was undertaken to compare disease activity and bone mass during long-term treatment with prednisone versus chloroquine in this patient population.
Methods. Patients with active RA diagnosed at age ≥ 60 were randomized to receive prednisone (15 mg/day for 1 month, with the dosage tapered as low as possible thereafter) (n = 28) or chloroquine (n = 28). Patients who did not show a response received other second-line drugs as an adjunct to prednisone or as a replacement for chloroquine. Bone mass was measured by dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry. The study duration was 2 years.
Results. During the 2 years, treatment with other second-line drugs was needed for 12 patients in the prednisone group (43%) and 8 in the chloroquine group (29%). Functional capacity and disease activity improved significantly in both groups and did not differ significantly between the groups, except for a greater improvement in the prednisone group at 1 month. Radiographic scores for joint destruction progressed similarly in both groups. There was a nonsignificant excess bone loss of 1.8% in the spine and 1.5% in the hip in the prednisone group, compared with the chloroquine group.
Conclusion. Neither treatment was entirely satisfactory since a significant number of patients needed an additional second-line drug over the 2-year period
