Partial Schauder estimates for second-order elliptic and parabolic equations
We establish Schauder estimates for both divergence and non-divergence form
second-order elliptic and parabolic equations involving H\"older semi-norms not
with respect to all, but only with respect to some of the independent
variables.Comment: CVPDE, accepted (2010)
Multipoint Schur algorithm and orthogonal rational functions: convergence properties, I
Classical Schur analysis is intimately connected to the theory of orthogonal
polynomials on the circle [Simon, 2005]. We investigate here the connection
between multipoint Schur analysis and orthogonal rational functions.
Specifically, we study the convergence of the Wall rational functions via the
development of a rational analogue to the Szeg\H o theory, in the case where
the interpolation points may accumulate on the unit circle. This leads us to
generalize results from [Khrushchev,2001], [Bultheel et al., 1999], and yields
asymptotics of a novel type.Comment: a preliminary version, 39 pages; some changes in the Introduction,

Riesz potentials and nonlinear parabolic equations
The spatial gradient of solutions to nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations
can be pointwise estimated by the caloric Riesz potential of the right hand
side datum, exactly as in the case of the heat equation. Heat kernels type
estimates persist in the nonlinear cas
Endpoint Estimates for N-dimensional Hardy Operators and Their Commutators
In this paper, it is proved that the higher dimensional Hardy operator is
bounded from Hardy space to Lebesgue space. The endpoint estimate for the
commutator generated by Hardy operator and (central) BMO function is also
discussed.Comment: 8 page
Existence and uniqueness of global solutions to fully nonlinear second order elliptic systems
We consider the problem of existence and uniqueness of strong a.e. solutions u:Rn⟶RNu:Rn⟶RN to the fully nonlinear PDE system
F(⋅,D2u)=f, a.e. on Rn,(1)
F(⋅,D2u)=f, a.e. on Rn,(1)
when f∈L2(Rn)Nf∈L2(Rn)N and F is a Carathéodory map. (1) has not been considered before. The case of bounded domains has been studied by several authors, firstly by Campanato and under Campanato’s ellipticity condition on F. By introducing a new much weaker notion of ellipticity, we prove solvability of (1) in a tailored Sobolev “energy” space and a uniqueness estimate. The proof is based on the solvability of the linearised problem by Fourier transform methods, together with a “perturbation device” which allows to use Campanato’s near operators. We also discuss our hypothesis via counterexamples and give a stability theorem of strong global solutions for systems of the form (1)
Variable exponent Besov-Morrey spaces
In this paper we introduce Besov-Morrey spaces with all indices variable and study some fundamental properties. This includes a description in terms of Peetre maximal functions and atomic and molecular decompositions. This new scale of non-standard function spaces requires the introduction of variable exponent mixed Morrey-sequence spaces, which in turn are defined within the framework of semimodular spaces. In particular, we obtain a convolution inequality involving special radial kernels, which proves to be a key tool in this work.publishe
