(neuroticismo, responsabilidad y deseabilidad social).
The male is often troubled by concerns that his penis is not large enough to satisfy his
partner or himself, belief that dominates and determines sexual life. Also, this belief causes that many men tend to lie about his penis size, exaggerating his real dimensions.
A sample of 130 youths underwent an assessment procedure where we estimated
precision in their penis size reported and its relationship with certain psychological
variables. Data show a clear tendency to report penis measures far above from
expected considering his age and race –especially for erect penis length. Furthermore,
difference between real size and reported size is related with certain personality dimensions
(such as neuroticism, conscientiousness, and social desirability). These results
help us to understand why many men lie about his penis sizeEste trabajo ha sido financiado por el proyecto de investigación del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación PSI 2011-27992/11 i 384 y de la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón P1.1B2012-49

Protein Tyrosine Nitration during Development and Abiotic Stress Response in Plants
In recent years, the study of nitric oxide (NO) in plant systems has attracted the attention of many researchers. A growing number of investigations have shown the significance of NO as a signal molecule or as a molecule involved in the response against (a)biotic processes. NO can be responsible of the post-translational modifications (NO-PTM) of target proteins by mechanisms such as the nitration of tyrosine residues. The study of protein tyrosine nitration during development and under biotic and adverse environmental conditions has increased in the last decade; nevertheless, there is also an endogenous nitration which seems to have regulatory functions. Moreover, the advance in proteome techniques has enabled the identification of new nitrated proteins, showing the high variability among plant organs, development stage and species. Finally, it may be important to discern between a widespread protein nitration because of greater RNS content, and the specific nitration of key targets which could affect cell-signaling processes. In view of the above point, we present a mini-review that offers an update about the endogenous protein tyrosine nitration, during plant development and under several abiotic stress conditions. This study was supported by an ERDF grant co-financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (project BIO2015-66390-P) and Junta de Andalucía (groups BIO286 and BIO192). Exploring the use of recombinant inbred lines in combination with beneficial microbial inoculants (AM fungus and PGPR) to improve drought stress tolerance in tomato
At a world scale, tomato is an important horticultural crop, but its productivity is highly reduced by drought stress. Combining the application of beneficial microbial inoculants with breeding and grafting techniques may be key to cope with reduced tomato yield under drought. This study aimed to investigate the growth responses and physiological mechanisms involved in the performance under drought stress of four tomato recombinant inbred lines (RIL) after inoculation with the arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus Rhizophagus irregularis and the plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) Variovorax paradoxus 5C-2. Results showed a variation in the efficiency of the different tomato RILs under drought stress and a differential effect of the microbial inoculants, depending on the RIL involved. The inoculants affected plant parameters such as net photosynthetic capacity, oxidative damage to lipids, osmolyte accumulation, root hydraulic conductivity or aquaporin abundance and phosphorylation status. RIL66 was the one obtaining maximum benefit from the microbial inoculants under drought stress conditions, due likely to improved CO2-fixation capacity and root hydraulic conductivity. We propose that RIL66 could be selected as a good plant material to be used as rootstock to improve tomato growth and productivity under water limiting conditions. Since RIL66 is highly responsive to microbial inoculants, this grafting strategy should be combined with inoculation of R. irregularis and V. paradoxus in order to improve plant yield under conditions of drought stress
