El artículo explora la definición de «competencia» a través de un análisis de las interpretaciones existentes en la literatura científica. Los autores revisaron y revisaron creativamente más de 15 interpretaciones de autores existentes de este concepto. Los enfoques actuales para la clasificación de las competiciones se sistematizan y revisan creativamente. En el ejemplo de una tabla comparativa de enfoques de clasificación, se revelan las principales características de clasificación de las competiciones. Se considera la conveniencia de aplicar el concepto de «competencia» en concursos infantiles, escolares y estudiantiles, así como el concepto de «competencia abierta» utilizado en la adquisición de bienes, obras, servicios para satisfacer las necesidades estatales y municipales. Como resultado, los signos revelados de la competencia nos permiten concluir la conveniencia de utilizar este concepto como herramienta para la distribución de bienes materiales. En este caso, difieren solo en la escala de esta distribución. El artículo también explora la lista de olimpiadas y otros concursos intelectuales y (o) creativos, eventos dirigidos al desarrollo de habilidades intelectuales y creativas, habilidades para participar en la educación física y el deporte, interés en la ciencia (investigación), ingeniería, inventiva, creativa, física. actividades culturales y deportivas, así como la promoción del conocimiento científico, los logros creativos y deportivos, recomendados por el Ministerio de Educación de la Federación de Rusia. INTELLECTUAL ANALYTICAL GEOINFORMATION SYSTEM “EARTH SCIENCE DATA FOR THE TERRITORY OF RUSSIA”

The present study is aimed at the integration of data on geography, geology, geophysics, geoecology and other Earth sciences in the comprehensive problem-oriented geoinformation system (GIS) including the intellectual superstructure for geoinformation analysis. At the present time GIS provide only limited opportunities for general analysis of geodata handled. At the same time, among the scientific community, dealing with the Earth sciences data, the requirement of more profound and comprehensive data analyzing and processing is constantly growing. The theory and methods of artificial intellect (AI) must become not only an integral, but the main core of a modern GIS. The methods of fuzzy mathematics correlate with a fuzzy character of geophysical data. The AI methods, developed by the authors, and presently applied to volcanic activity monitoring, search and interpretation of anomalies in geophysical fields, solving environmental, geodynamic and other problems, turned out to be a success

Intellectual Geoinformation System for Earth Sciences

A new technology was elaborated, combining a geoinformation system (GIS) and GIS- oriented algorithmic methods of artificial intellect (AI). Numerous thematic layers for geosciences, obtained from Russian and international scientific sources, were imported into the GIS. Technology and software for integration of AI methods within the GIS in the form of the Centralized Catalogue of Geodata Processing Algorithms (CCGPA) was developed. A GIS visualization subsystem was created to provide interaction between the GIS and its users. It performs geodata layers visualization, map operations, geodata set management, execution of CCGPA-stored algorithms and representation of application results

The article explores the definition of «competition» through an analysis of existing interpretations in the scientific literature. The authors reviewed and creatively revised more than 15 existing author's interpretations of this concept. The current approaches to the classification of competitions are systematized and creatively revised. On the example of a comparative table of classification approaches, the main classification features of competitions are revealed. The appropriateness of applying the concept of «competition» in children's, school and student competitions, as well as the concept of «open competition» used in the procurement of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs, is considered. As a result, the revealed signs of the competition allow us to conclude the appropriateness of using this concept as a tool for the distribution of material goods. In this case, they differ only in the scale of this distribution. The article also explores the list of olympiads and other intellectual and (or) creative contests, events aimed at developing intellectual and creative abilities, abilities to engage in physical education and sports, interest in scientific (research), engineering, inventive, creative, physical culture and sports activities, as well as the promotion of scientific knowledge, creative and sports achievements, recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The world's largest oil and gas hydrocarbon deposits: ROSA database and GIS project development

This article proposes the use of Big Data principles to support the future extraction of hydrocarbon resources. It starts out by assessing the possible energy-system transformations in order to shed some light on the future need for hydrocarbon resource extraction and corresponding drilling needs. The core contribution of this work is the development of a new database and the corresponding GIS (geographic information system) visualization project as basis for an analytical study of worldwide hydrocarbon occurrences and development of extraction methods. The historical period for the analytical study is from 1900 to 2000. A number of tasks had to be implemented to develop the database and include information about data collection, processing, and development of geospatial data on hydrocarbon deposits. Collecting relevant information made it possible to compile a list of hydrocarbon fields, which have served as the basis for the attribute database tables and its further filling. To develop an attribute table, the authors took into account that all accumulated data features on hydrocarbon deposits and divided them into two types: static and dynamic. Static data included the deposit parameters that do not change over time. On the other hand, dynamic data are constantly changing. Creation of a web service with advanced functionality based on the Esri Geoportal Server software platform included search by parameter presets, viewing and filtering of selected data layers using online mapping application, sorting of metadata, corresponding bibliographic information for each field and keywords accordingly. The collected and processed information by ROSA database and GIS visualization project includes more than 100 hydrocarbon fields across different countries
