The Influence of Advertisement, Perceived Price, and Brand Image on Consumer Buying Decision to Asus Mobile Phone

Buying decision is the stage in which consumers make the decision or take an action whether to purchase a certain product or not. The purpose of this research is to analyze the simultaneous and partial effect of Advertising, Perceived Price and Brand Images on Consumer Buying Decision. The populations of this research are people who use ASUS smartphone with the sample size as many as 40 respondents. This research uses quantitative analyze by questionnaires and the Multiple Regression Analysis. The result shows that Advertising, Perceived Price and Brand Image have significant effect on consumer buying decision, both simultaneously and partially effect. ASUS mobile phone management should pay more attention to Advertisement that is made and the Price of product so that consumers will still be interested buying the mobile phone. Keywords: advertising, perceived price, brand image, consumer buying decisio

Optical Properties of Some New Azo Photoisomerizable Bismaleimide Derivatives

Novel polythioetherimides bearing azobenzene moieties were synthesized from azobismaleimides and bis-2-mercaptoethylether. Kinetics of trans-cis photoisomerization and of thermal conversion of cis to trans isomeric forms were investigated in both polymer solution and poly(methyl methacrylate) doped films using electronic absorption spectroscopy. Thermal recovery kinetics is well described by a two-exponential relation both in solution and polymer matrix, while that of low molecular weight azobismaleimide fit a first-order equation. The photoinduced cis-trans isomerization by visible light of azobenzene chromophores was examined in solution and in polymer films. The rate of photoinduced recovery was very high for azobismaleimides

High on-off conductance switching ratio in optically-driven self-assembled conjugated molecular systems

A new azobenzene-thiophene molecular switch is designed, synthesized and used to form self-assembled monolayers (SAM) on gold. An "on/off" conductance ratio up to 7x1E3 (with an average value of 1.5x1E3) is reported. The "on" conductance state is clearly identified to the cis isomer of the azobenzene moiety. The high "on/off" ratio is explained in terms of photo-induced, configuration-related, changes in the electrode-molecule interface energetics (changes in the energy position of the molecular orbitals with respect to the Fermi energy of electrodes) in addition to changes in the tunnel barrier length (length of the molecules). First principles DFT calculations demonstrate a better delocalization of the frontier orbitals, as well as a stronger electronic coupling between the azobenzene moiety and the electrode for the cis configuration over the trans one. Measured photoionization cross-sections for the molecules in the SAM are close to the known values for azobenzene derivatives in solution.Comment: 1 file with main text, figure and suppementary informatio
