The decrease in the harvested area and the reduction in horticultural land caused by the conversion of agricultural land into plantations have prompted farmers to practice vegetable farming using a hydroponic system. This study aims to analyze the level of sustainability in vegetable farming using a hydroponic system, considering various dimensions and farmers' strategies to enhance sustainable hydroponic vegetable farming in Pekanbaru City. The sustainability index was determined using the Rap-Farm Ordination Technique along with the Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) Method, Leverage Analysis, Monte Carlo Simulation, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to analyze hydroponic vegetable farming strategies in Pekanbaru City. A saturated sample of 30 hydroponic vegetable farmers from Pekanbaru City was included in this research. The results indicate that vegetable farming using a hydroponic system exhibits a relatively high level of sustainability across different dimensions, including economic, ecological, social, institutional, and technological aspects, with a score of 64.80. The sustainability level for the fifth dimension is moderately good (economic, ecological, social, and technological), whereas the institutional dimension is highly sustainable. Therefore, attributes from the highest-value dimension (institutional) and the lowest-value dimension (social) are given priority. Consequently, these two attributes are combined to enhance the sustainability level. One crucial aspect is improving knowledge of vegetable cultivation using the hydroponic system through training programs to enhance farmers' skills. Additionally, implementing and monitoring hydroponic vegetable farming emerged as a top-ranking alternative strategy to enhance farming practices. This research is expected to assist hydroponic vegetable farmers in enhancing their sustainable farming practices. Libraries, museums and archives hold valuable collections in a variety of media, presenting a vast body of knowledge rooted in the history of human civilisation. These form the repository of the wisdom of great works by thinkers of past and the present. The holdings of these institutions are priceless heritage of the mankind as they preserve documents, ideas, and the oral and written records. To value the cultural heritage and to care for it as a treasure bequeathed to us by our ancestors is the major responsibility of libraries. The past records constitute a natural resource and are indispensable to the present generation as well as to the generations to come. Libraries preserve the documentary heritage resources for which they are primarily responsible. Any loss of such materials is simply irreplaceable. Therefore, preserving this intellectual, cultural heritage becomes not only the academic commitment but also the moral responsibility of the librarians/information scientists, who are in charge of these repositories. The high quality of the papers and the discussion represent the thinking and experience of experts in their particular fields. The contributed papers also relate to the methodology used in libraries in Asia to provide access to manuscripts and cultural heritage. The volume discusses best practices in Knowledge preservation and how to collaborate and preserve the culture. The book also deals with manuscript and archives issues in the digital era. The approach of this book is concise, comprehensively, covering all major aspects of preservation and conservation through libraries. The readership of the book is not just limited to library and information science professionals, but also for those involved in conservation, preservation, restoration or other related disciplines. The book will be useful for librarians, archivists and conservators. Background: This study investigated the incidence, characteristics and functional outcomes associated with unplanned Acute Care Unit Readmissions (ACUR) during inpatient traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation in an Asian cohort. Methods: A retrospective review of electronic medical records from a single rehabilitation unit was conducted from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2014. Inclusion criteria were first TBI, aged >18 years, admitted <6 months of TBI. ACUR were characterized into neurological, medical or neurosurgical subtypes. The main outcome measure was discharge and Functional Independence Measure (FIMā„¢). Secondary outcomes included rehabilitation length of stay (RLOS). Results: Of 121 eligible TBI records, the incidence of ACUR was 14% (n = 17), comprising neurologic (76.5%) and medical (23.5%) subtypes occurring at median of 13 days (IQR 6, 28.5) after rehabilitation admission. Patients without ACUR had a significantly higher admission mean (SD) FIM score compared to those with ACUR (FIM ACUR-negative 63.4 (21.1) vs. FIM ACUR-positive 50.53(25.4), p = 0.026). Significantly lower discharge FIM was noted in those with ACUR compared to those without. (FIM ACUR-positive 65.8(31.4) vs. FIM ACUR-negative 85.4 (21.1), p = 0.023) Furthermore, a significant near-doubling of RLOS was noted in ACUR patients compared to non-ACUR counterparts (ACUR-positive median 55 days (IQR 34.50, 87.50) vs. ACUR-negative median 28 days (IQR 16.25, 40.00), p = 0.002). Conclusions: This study highlights the significant negative functional impact and lengthening of rehabilitation duration of ACUR on inpatient rehabilitation outcome for TBI.Published versio

The Women Farmers Group (KWT) Puspa Sari is one of the KWTs in Bogor that has succeeded in empowering members and the surrounding community to use vacant land to be productive. Currently, KWT Puspa Sari in Bogor City has business activities, including plant production, medicinal plant processing, marketing processed medicinal plants and microfinance businesses. However, some of the problems faced by KWT include the lack of knowledge related to postharvest handling of medicinal plants into ready-to-sell products. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the knowledge and skills of the management and members of KWT as well as the community around handling harvests, especially TOGA, so that they have added value and increased the selling price. Increased value added can be done by utilizing postharvest technology such as making simplicia followed by packaging and labelling. Packaging equipped with labelling will make the product more durable and attractive. This service activity consists of several stages, including the preparation stage, which provides surveys, targeting, and preparation of materials/materials and tools. The implementation stage includes exposure to material and practice and the training evaluation stage through satisfaction questionnaires and measurement of training activities before and after questionnaires training. This community service activity showed an increase in knowledge and skills in TOGA postharvest management by 18.60 percent after this training. Based on the satisfaction questionnaire distributed to the training participants, 80.31 percent were satisfied with this training activity. Hopefully, with this training, it is hoped that KWT Puspa Sari Bogor City can increase the added value of TOGA and can develop the marketing of cultivation products and postharvest handling of TOGA.Key words : Postharvest, the added value, TOGA, KWTAbstrakKelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Puspa Sari merupakan salah satu KWT di Kota Bogor yang berhasil memberdayakan anggota dan masyarakat di sekitarnya dalam memanfaatkan lahan kosong menjadi produktif.
