Le recensioni di libri nei blog: strategie linguistico-testuali di espressione di accordo e disaccordo

L’articolo fornisce un ulteriore contributo allo studio del genere recensione, soffermandosi in particolare sulle recensioni di libri online. Tra le diverse forme che la recensione di libri si trova ad assumere quando viene trasposta in rete, ci soffermeremo sulla sua manifestazione in un genere specifico del web, ovvero il blog dedicato ai libri, di cui si presenteranno le principali specificità strutturali e pragmatiche, anche con riferimento al modello testuale della recensione tradizionale cartacea e dialogando con la letteratura esistente. L’articolo sarà dedicato nella sua parte centrale in particolare alle modalità di organizzazione ed espressione della componente valutativa nelle recensioni in rete: adottando un approccio descrittivo-qualitativo, si proporrà un’indagine a partire da una raccolta di testi reali con lo scopo di verificare quali strategie testuali e linguistiche sono selezionate più tipicamente per esprimere gli atteggiamenti di accordo o disaccordo nei confronti del libro recensito, nei suoi diversi aspetti. The paper provides a further contribution to the studies of the genre “review”, focusing on online book reviews. Among the different forms assumed by book reviews when they are transposed online, we will consider their manifestation in a specific web genre, blogs dedicated to books, and we will present the main structural and pragmatic properties also with respect to the textual model of the traditional in paper format review, taking into consideration the existing reference works. In its central part the article will focus in particular on the forms of organization and expression of the evaluative component in online reviews: adopting a descriptive-qualitative method, the paper will propose an analysis based on a collection of real texts, with the aim of verifying which textual and linguistic strategies are most typically used to express agreement or disagreement towards the reviewed book, in its various aspects

Study of network composition in interpenetrating polymer networks of poly(N isopropylacrylamide) microgels:the role of poly(acrylic acid)

Hypothesis: The peculiar swelling behaviour of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM)-based responsive microgels provides the possibility to tune both softness and volume fraction with temperature, making these systems of great interest for technological applications and theoretical implications. Their intriguing phase diagram can be even more complex if poly(acrylic acid) (PAAc) is interpenetrated within PNIPAM network to form Interpenetrating Polymer Network (IPN) microgels that exhibit an additional pH-sensitivity. The effect of the PAAc/PNIPAM polymeric ratio on both swelling capability and dynamics is still matter of investigation. Experiments: Here we investigate the role of PAAc in the behaviour of IPN microgels across the volume phase transition through dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and electrophoretic measurements as a function of microgel concentration and pH. Findings: Our results highlight that aggregation is favored at increasing weight concentration, PAAc content and pH and that a crossover PAAc content C*_{PAAc} exists above which the ionic charges on the microgel become relevant. Moreover we show that the softness of IPN microgels can be tuned ad hoc by changing the PAAc/PNIPAM ratio. These findings provide new insights into the possibility to control experimentally aggregation properties, charge and softness of IPN microgels by varying PAAc content.Comment: preprint versio

Zależność pomiędzy dwukropkiem i spójnikami we włoskiej pisowni współczesnej: "infatti" i "perché"

L’obiettivo del presente contributo consiste nel riflettere sul valore semantico della combinazione dei due punti con i connettivi. A questo fine, lavoriamo a partire da dati ricavati da corpora di italiano scritto funzionale, tra cui PUNT-IT, CORIS e Corpus la Repubblica, e ci concentriamo sui costrutti ‘p: infatti q’ e ‘p: perché q’. Vedremo in particolare che l’influenza vicendevole tra il connettivo e i due punti può interessare la natura concettuale della relazione logico-semantica o la sua portata. Per quanto riguarda il costrutto ‘p: perché q’, ci soffermeremo, infine, su alcune particolari configurazioni sintattico-semantiche.Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza znaczeń semantycznych rodzących się w przypadku połączenia dwukropka z różnymi spójnikami. Analiza, oparta na danych pochodzących z korpusów włoskiego języka pisanego, takich jak PUNT-IT, CORIS i korpusu dziennika La Repubblica, koncentruje się na konstrukcjach zdaniowych ‘p: infatti q’ [p: gdyż q] oraz ‘p: perché q’ [p: ponieważ q]. Zostanie pokazane w szczególności, że wzajemne oddziaływanie między spójnikiem i dwukropkiem może wpływać na rodzaj relacji semantyczno-logicznej lub na jej zasięg.
