¿Barreras invisibles?
This paper analyses university students’ knowledge, opinions and attitudes towards peers with disabilities. The integration of students with disabilities in Education is an object of concern and research in the whole Spanish Education System, including Higher Education where 21,942 people with disabilities were students in the academic course 2013-2014. This research belongs to two projects on Innovation in Education for the University of Málaga. Attitudes of professors, students without disabilities and students with disabilities were examined. This paper shows the viewpoint of students without disabilities, which is necessary in order to observe the acceptance inside the classes. An email-survey was conducted in the whole University of Malaga’s student population (N= 32.464). The sample size was 620, so we had a confidence interval of 3.9% with a confidence level of 95%. Statistical analysis was conducted. Data showed the relevance of higher levels of information and direct experience with the disability: those two variables correlated to more positive attitudes toward the students with disabilities. Only the 20% of the students said they had received any kind of information about disability from the university sometime, however most of the sample was favorable to the presence of students with disabilities in the university, to the possibility of sharing classwork with them and to the enrichment that coexistence inside the class provides. New actions in order to enhance student’s attitudes toward students with disabilities were discussed, so the paper suggests including a new point of view that promotes the empowerment of those students. Conflicts in the professional roles of journalists in Spain: Ideals and practice
Based on a survey of 122 journalists from four Spanish newspapers carried out from 2015 to 2016, this paper analyses to what extent these professionals perceive a disconnection –a gap– between their role conception and their perceived role enactment, that is between their professional ideals and their journalistic practice, and which are the most “conflicting” roles in a Polarized Pluralist media system. According to the perceptions of the professionals surveyed, journalists in Spain hold a role conflict when they work in a newspaper. The findings show significant differences between the role conception and the perceived role enactment in six of the seven professional roles. The biggest divergences are located in the watchdog, civic and disseminator roles. The conflict between the professional ideals and their implementation in the news is always resolved in favor of the media organizations. Our results are consistent and support the previous studies that have defined the Polarized Pluralist media system as a media ecosystem where journalists accumulate little power compared to the media organizations, which are in financial debt and dependent on political and economic powers. Results are discussed according to the literature review as well as the context in which the study was developed

News media credibility in Spain: differences in perception and characterization of the skeptics
The aims of this article are twofold: to examine attitudes towards news media in Spain in order to measure to what extent consumers are critical about them, and to establish possible predictors that characterize the individuals who are the most skeptical. A national survey showed that, in general, Spaniards trust their media, although they do not consider them to be impartial; it also revealed a set of typical characteristics of the more incredulous media consumer group: they are mainly middle-aged men with a high level of education living in large cities in the north of Spain who are distrustful towards interpersonal relationships and watch less TV than the average
Galdeketa bat egin zitzaien 33 ikasleri. Emaitzek adierazten dutenez, egunean sei ordu baino gehiago ematen dituzten hala erredakzioan nola kanpoan, telelana oso sartuta baitago kolektiboaren gehiengoan. Horrez gain, hiru pieza inguru egiten dituzte, oro har multimedia formatuan. Halaber, bekadunen % 20k ez dute prentsa egunero irakurtzen eta % 85ek egunero erabiltzen dituzte sare sozialak lanerako. Horrek esan nahi du aldatu egin dela kazetari gazteek erabiltzen dituzten iturriak eta jendearengana iristeko erabiltzen dituzten baliabideak.; This exploratory article describes the media routines of interns —a crucial stage in the training and socialization of professionals— in the Málaga main media.
