    Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématikou detekce obličejů na mobilních telefonech s operačním systémem Android. V rámci úvodu do problematiky jsou popsány některé algoritmy určené pro detekci vzorů v obraze, stejně jako různé techniky získávání příznaků. Jsou zde popsána specifika vývoje pro Android včetně popisu základních vývojových nástrojů. Po seznámení s architekturou SIMD jednotek je vypracován návrh aplikace, podle kterého je následně probíhá implementace. Nakonec jsou provedeny výkonnové testy, jejichž výsledky jsou shrnuty v závěru práce.This master's thesis deals with face detection on mobile phones with Android OS. The introduction describes some algorithms used for pattern detection from image, as well as various techniques of features extracting. After that Android platform development specifics, including basic description of development tools, are described. Architecture of SIMD is introduced in next part of this work. After acquiring basic knowleage analysis and implementation of final app are descrited. Performance tests are conducted whose results are summarized in the conclusion.

    Negative effect of clay fillers on the polyvinyl alcohol biodegradation: technical note

    This work focuses on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) biodegradation in the presence of mineral clays in an aqueous aerobic environment. PVA with a degree of hydrolysis of 88% and 72% was used for the experiments. The selected group of mineral clays (nanofillers for polymers) of montmorillonite (MMT) Cloisite (R) Na+; organo-modified montmorillonite (OMMT) Cloisite (R) 20A, Cloisite (R) 30B; waste kaolin; kaolin; and zeolites were prepared by synthesis of the aforementioned kaolins. The level of biodegradation was measured using a respirometer, Micro-Oxymax, and evaluated according to CO2 production. Results of this test indicate a negative effect on PVA biodegradability in the presence of MMT Cloisite (R) Na+ and Cloisite (R) 30B. It has been found that PVA biodegradability in the presence of no adapted inoculum was adversely affected by the biocidal effects of the organic modifier of Cloisite (R) 30B. In this case, PVA 88-8 biodegradation decreased by 71% and PVA 72-10 biodegradation dropped by 58%.     Předmětem bakalářské práce „Návrh komunikačního mixu produktu“ je návrh na zlepšení komunikačního mixu na základě analýzy současného stavu komunikačního mixu vybraného výrobku ve vybraném podniku. Bakalářská práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány jednotlivé komunikační nástroje, principy marketingové komunikace a metody analýzy vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí podniku. Úvod praktické části popisuje vybraný podnik a jeho produkty. Dále probíhá analýza aktuálního stavu komunikačního mixu vybraného výrobku, jednotlivých nástrojů propagace, analýza silných a slabých stránek výrobku a budoucích příležitostí a hrozeb. Závěrečná část obsahuje návrhy na zlepšení komunikačního mixu.The goal of the bachelor thesis „The Proposal of Product Communication Mix“ is the proposal for improvement of communication mix based on the analysis of the selected protuct‘s present communication mix in selected company. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes particular tools of marketing communication, it’s principles in the theoretical level and methods of analysis of a company internal and external environment. Introduction of practical part describes selected the company and the selected product. Further takes place analysis of current state of the selected product, analysis of particular tools of promotion and analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats involved in the product. Last part contains proposals to improve the current communication mix.

    PVP Based Materials: Biodegradation in Different Environments

    The research deals with biodegradation of films prepared from polyvinylpyrrolidone and polylactic acid (PVP/PLA). Biodegradation of PVP/PLA films was supported by the following additives: 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, 1-octyl-2-pyrrolidone, acrylamide and N-acetyl-L-phenylalanine according to the previous study. The films were prepared by a solvent casting technique. Biodegradation was observed using the respirometric method in different environments. The films subjected to biodegradation were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It was found that the films are substantially degraded, but not in the biological way; PVP was quickly removed in presence of water because of its easy solubility.     Modeling of the partial oxidation of glycerol by estimation of its transfer function

    The reaction pathway for the conversion of glycerol into different products, namely glyceraldehyde, glyceric acid, glycolic acid, mesoxalic acid and tartronic acid was studied by means of electrochemistry. Multiple Pulse Amperometry technique was used to control the potential during the electrooxidation reaction. The estimation of the transfer function was realized on the basis of dynamic models for the oxidation reaction.     Hydration and barrier potential of cosmetic matrices with bee products

    Honey, honey extracts, and bee products belong to traditionally used bioactive molecules in many areas. The aim of the study was primarily to evaluate the effect of cosmetic matrices containing honey and bee products on the skin. The study is complemented by a questionnaire survey on the knowledge and awareness of the effects and potential uses of bee products. The effect of bee molecules at various concentrations was observed by applying 12 formulations to the skin of the volar side of the forearm by non-invasive bioengineering methods on a set of 24 volunteers for 48 h. Very good moisturizing properties have been found in matrices with the glycerin extract of honey. Matrices containing forest honey had better moisturizing effects than those containing flower honey. Barrier properties were enhanced by gradual absorption, especially in formulations with both glycerin and aqueous honey extract. The observed organoleptic properties of the matrices assessed by sensory analysis through 12 evaluators did not show statistically significant differences except for color and spreadability. There are differences in the ability to hydrate the skin, reduce the loss of epidermal water, and affect the pH of the skin surface, including the organoleptic properties between honey and bee product matrices according to their type and concentration.Internal strategic project of Tomas Bata University in Zli

    Electrooxidation of glycerin by potential sweep technique and controlled potential electrolysis

    In this study, potential sweep technique and controlled potential electrolysis were used to analyze the electrochemical oxidation of glycerin in a three electrode system using platinum as a working electrode. Electrochemical experiments were performed at different concentrations of glycerin and manganese dioxide (0.015-0.124 M) to analyze the reaction order of reactant and oxidant. Voltammograms were studied at different positive and negative potential limits (-1.5 to 1.5 V vs Ag/AgCl), sweep rates (0.01 to 0.08 V/s) and temperatures (27 to 60 °C). The influence of each parameter on the voltammogram shape is discussed.     Effect of hydrothermal treatment on the structure of an aluminosilicate polymer

    The effect of hydrothermal treatment on the structure of an aluminosilicate polymer prepared by a polycondensation reaction between silicate and hydroxoaluminate in alkaline aqueous solution was studied. The structural changes were investigated using X-ray diffraction analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy imaging and thermogravimetric analysis. The results indicated that the amorphous aluminosilicate polymer transformed into a crystalline product during the hydrothermal treatment at 145A degrees C. The crystalline phase was identified as a mineral of the zeolite group, most likely phillipsite. This transformation required an alkaline environment during the hydrothermal treatment
