Web-pohjainen työkalenteri

Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli suunnitella ja toteuttaa web-pohjainen työkalenterisovellus Unelmapaketti Ay:öön kuuluvalle Kodin Apujoukoille. Sovelluksen tarkoituksena oli nopeuttaa yrityksen työtehtävien hallintaa ja helpottaa työntekijöiden palkanlaskentaa sekä asiakkaiden laskutusta. Tavoitteena oli saada sovelluksesta toimiva, helppokäyttöinen sekä mahdollisimman selkeä. Työprosessin alkuvaiheessa ohjelmaa suunniteltiin yhdessä toimeksiantajan kanssa. Ohjelmointivaiheessa työtä tarkasteltiin yhdessä toimeksiantajan kanssa useita kertoja eri toimintojen valmistuttua. Sovelluksen ohjelmoinnissa käytettiin pääasiassa PHP-ohjelmointikieltä, jonkin verran Javascriptiä. Sen tietokantana oli MySQL ja siinä oli neljä eri taulua. Lisäksi sovelluksessa käytettiin Javascriptin jQuery-kirjastoa. Ohjelmointi suoritettiin Netbeans-ohjelmointiympäristöllä. Työkalenteriin sisältyi seitsemän eri verkkosivua. Esimiehen näkymän pääsivuna oli työkalenteri, jossa näkyy kaikkien työntekijöiden työtehtävät valitulta aikaväliltä. Työntekijöitä varten sovelluk-sessa oli viikkokalenterisivu, josta työntekijät näkevät omat viikoittaiset työtehtävänsä. Palkanlas-kenta-sivulla näkyvät lisätiedot valitun työntekijän työtehtävistä ja vapaapäivistä. Laskutus-sivulla nähdään valitulle asiakkaalle tehdyt työtehtävät ja niihin liittyvät tiedot. Työntekijät-sivulla hallitaan työntekijöitä ja heidän tietojaan. Asiakkaat-sivulla nähdään asiakkaiden yhteystiedot. Omat tiedot -sivulla voidaan muuttaa omia tietoja sekä salasanaa. Ohjelmaa testattiin sekä koko ohjelmointivaiheen ajan että sen valmistuttua kokonaisuutena. Työ-kalenterista tuli selkeä ja helppokäyttöinen, koska työtehtävät voitiin lisätä suoraan kalenteriin. Toimivuudesta ei ole testauksien ja korjauksien jälkeen löydetty virheitä.The topic of this final year project was to plan and implement a web-based work calendar application for Kodin Apujoukot which belongs to a company called Unelmapaketti Ay. The purpose of this application was to speed up the handling of jobs and to ease the calculation of salaries and billing. The goal of the application was to make it easy to use and clear. It was also supposed to be working flawlessly. The application was planned together with the commissioner. After the features were implemented in the development phase the program was viewed by the commissioner. The program was developed mainly with the PHP programming language but Javascript was also used to some extent. The database was made with MySQL and it contains four different tables. In addition to that jQuery library was used with Javascript. The application was developed with the Netbeans integrated development environment. The Work Calendar consists of seven different web pages. The Work Calendar page was the main page for the manager. The page shows all jobs from chosen times for each employee. The program also has a page for employees called Week Calendar page. On that page the employees can see their weekly work assignments. The Salaries page contains more information about chosen employee’s work assignments and holidays. The Billing page shows work assignments done for a chosen client and information about them. Employees are managed on the Employees page and the Clients page contains contact information about clients. Employees can change their information on the My Account page. Testing was done constantly in the development phase. The program was also tested completely after it was done. The Work calendar became clear and it was easy to use because work assignments could be added straight into the calendar. There have been no errors after testing and correction

Grundandet av ett företag inom hästsportbranschen : En studie om val av verksamhetsform

Hästsporten i Finland ökar konstant och därför ökar också behovet av hästsportsaffärer. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka möjligheten att grunda ett lönsamt företag inom branschen. Arbetet utförs som ett praktikfall där två olika verksamhetsformer, butik gentemot butiksbil, analyseras med hjälp av modeller för kapitalbindning och materialflöde. Arbetet har gjorts utgående från teori, egna erfarenheter samt antagna värden. Det framgår i detta praktikfall att det är mer lönsamt att grunda en butik i Östra Nyland istället för en butiksbil. Arbetet fungerar som ett hjälpmedel då man grundar ett företag inom hästsportbranschen.Equestrian sports are constantly increasing in Finland and therefore the need for equestrian shops is also increasing. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of establishing a profitable company in the industry. The study is performed as a case study where a shop and a moving shop are compared in order to work as an equestrian shop. These two kinds of shops are analyzed using the models for capital and material flow. The study has been made on the basis of theory, personal experiences and assumed values. It appears in this case study that it is more profitable to establish a shop in Eastern Uusimaa than to establish a moving shop driving around Finland. The study can be used as a tool for establishing a company in the equestrian industry

Palovammapotilaan toimintaterapia : Opas toimintaterapeuteille

Palovamma on usein vakava yhtäkkinen onnettomuus, joka muuttaa perheen arkea ja asioiden tärkeysjärjestystä. Tieto palovamman saaneen tilasta ja tulevasta selviytymisestä ovat ensimmäisiä kysymyksiä lähipiirin keskuudessa. Palovamman aiheuttamien toiminnallisten rajoitteiden vaikutuksien selvittäminen ja lievittäminen ovat ensimmäisiä askelia arjen sujuvuuteen, jolla on keskeinen merkitys ihmisen elämässä. Toimintaterapiassa keskitytään ensimmäiseksi pääosin päivittäisiin toimintoihin. Kuntoutumisen myötä siirrytään tuotteliaisuuden sekä leikin- ja vapaa-ajan toiminnoista suoriutumiseen ajallisessa, fyysisessä ja sosiokulttuurisessa ympäristössä. Toimintaterapian suunnittelu on yksilöllistä huomioiden potilaan elämäntilanne, tarpeet ja toiveet. Potilas nähdään aktiivisena toimijana omassa kuntoutumisessaan. Onnistunut palovammapotilaan hoito ja kuntoutus edellyttää moniammatillisen tiimin työskentelyä. Tämän projektin tulostavoitteena oli painettu opas palovammapotilaan toimintaterapiasta. Opas suunniteltiin yhteistyössä Oulun yliopistollisen sairaalan K-fysiatrian toimintaterapeuttien kanssa. Opinnäytetyössä käsitellään palovammapotilaan toimintaterapiaa ajankohtaisen, näyttöön perustuvan tiedon ja palovammapotilaiden kanssa työskentelevien toimintaterapeuttien haastattelujen avulla. Saamamme palautteen perusteella saavutimme oppaan laatukriteerit, joita olivat käytettävyys, näyttöön perustuvuus ja selkeys. Oppaan avulla toimintaterapeutit voivat tiedottaa omasta osaamisestaan moniammatillisessa tiimissä. Palautteen perusteella opas on hyödyllinen toimintaterapeuttiopiskelijoille, koska palovammapotilaita omana asiakasryhmänään käsitellään koulutuksen aikana suppeasti. Oppaan avulla opiskelijoiden on mahdollisesti helpompi kohdata palovamman kokenut potilas. Opinnäytetyö ja opas sisältävät tietoa palovammapotilaan toimintaterapiaprosessista laajana kokonaisuutena. Jatkossa kehittämistyötä aiheesta voisi jatkaa keskittymällä johonkin tiettyyn osa-alueeseen tarkemmin kuten palovammapotilaan toiminnallisen suoriutumisen arviointiin ja palovammapotilaille suunniteltujen arviointimenetelmien suomentamiseen.Major burn injuries are a devastating, life-changing trauma. Care of patients with burn injuries is complex, but effective specialist input can make a significant difference to outcomes. A burn injury often has a huge impact upon the individual which in turn affects their family and those close to them. As a member of the multidisciplinary burn care team, occupational therapists play key roles at various points on the continuum of care delivered in the recovery process. This project was developed in co-operation with the occupational therapists from Oulu University Hospital. The objective of our thesis was a guidebook for occupational therapists and occupational therapy students about occupational therapy with burn patients. The guidebook consisted of independent information search about the topic, meetings and contacts with the co-operation partner and interviews of other occupational therapists who are working with burn patients. The guidebook was designed with a publisher programme. Occupational therapists who were the informants in this project also participated in the feedback poll about the guidebook which was accomplished by email. After that the guidebook was finished. Result of this project was the guidebook. According to the feedback, it is evidence-based, useful tool in occupational therapists’ work and its appearance is pleasant. The guidebook represents a wide perspective about the occupational therapy process of burn patients. It includes useful evaluation measures which are designed for burn patients. The guidebook can be used in the education of occupational therapy students. It can also be used in instructing of occupational therapists who have never worked with burn patients. In the future it would be essential to translate into Finnish the evaluation measures described in the guidebook.Opas palovammapotilaan toimintaterapiasta

Jos nuoren mieli sairastaa : Opas masentuneen 13-17-vuotiaan nuoren vanhemmalle

Masennus on mielenterveyden häiriö, joka koskettaa koko sairastuneen perhettä ja siksi avun saaminen ajoissa on tärkeää. Murrosiän tuomat muutokset nuoressa voivat olla haasteellisia erottaa masennuksesta, joten on tärkeää erottaa masennuksen oireet ikäkaudelle tyypillisistä piirteistä. Vanhempi saattaa olla huolissaan nuoresta, mutta nuoren kohtaaminen voi olla haasteellista. Huolen puheeksioton avulla vanhemman on mahdollisuus kohdata nuori ja saada aikaan hyvä, dialoginen vuorovaikutus. Toiminnallisena opinnäytetyönä luotiin opas, jonka kohderyhmänä on 13–17-vuotiaan masentuneen nuoren vanhempi. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda selkeä ja helposti ymmärrettävä opas, joka vastaa vanhempien ja toimeksiantajan tarpeita. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana oli Savon Mielenterveysomaiset - FinFami ry (OMA ry), jolla oli tarve oppaalle, jota voisi käyttää tukena työskennellessä mielenterveysomaisten kanssa. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin keräämällä teoriatietoa sosiaali- ja terveysalan tietokirjallisuudesta, haastattelemalla mielenterveysongelmiin sairastuneiden nuorten vanhempia ja selvittämällä toimeksiantajan tarpeet. Opinnäytetyönä tuotettiin tiivis PDF-muotoinen opas. Raporttiin kirjattiin opasta laajemmin tietoa masennuksesta, sen oireista ja hoidosta. Lisäksi raportissa käsiteltiin opasta yksityiskohtaisemmin nuoren kohtaamista ja huolen puheeksiottamista sekä niiden erityispiirteitä. Raporttiin kuvattiin oppaan tekemisen vaiheet suunnittelusta toteutukseen sekä ulkoasun että sisällön osalta. Oppaan sisältö kirjoitettiin helposti ymmärrettävään muotoon ja ulkoasu pidettiin yksinkertaisena käyttämisen helpottamiseksi. Oppaan tuottamisessa huomioitiin myös sen käytettävyys tulostettuna ja harmaasävyisenä. Oppaan sisältämää tietoa voivat hyödyntää vanhempien lisäksi esimerkiksi masentuneen nuoren muut läheiset ja vanhempien kanssa työskentelevät henkilöt. Nuoren kohtaamiseen ja huolen puheeksiottamiseen liittyvää tietoa voi soveltaa monipuolisesti myös muissa tilanteissa kuin mielenterveysongelmiin liittyen. Toteutetun oppaan rinnalle voidaan tuottaa muihin mielenterveysongelmiin sovellettuja samankaltaisia oppaita ja näin luoda sarja helppolukuisia ja tiivistettyjä teoksia.Depression is a mental disorder which affects not only the one depressed but the whole family, and that’s why it is important to get help on time. It may be difficult to tell the difference between normal behavior of adolescent based on the symptoms of adolescent’s depression. Parent might be worried over the adolescent but encountering him or her can be challenging. By taking up one’s worries parent has an opportunity to encounter the adoles-cent and accomplish good dialogical interaction. During this functional study a guidebook was created for parents whose 13–17 year old adolescent is suffering from depression. The aim was to create a clear and easily understandable guidebook which would respond to parent’s and client organization’s needs. The client organization of the thesis was Savon Mielenterveysomaiset - FinFami ry (OMA ry) that had a need for a guidebook to use to support their work. Savon Mielenterveysomaiset is an association which works with the close ones of mentally disordered by providing peer support, discussion and information about mental disorders. This study was made by using theoretical information collected from health and social care research and by interviewing mentally disordered youth’s parents and finding out the client organization’s needs. A compact pdf-format guidebook was created. The report handled information on depression, its symptoms and treatment more than the actual guidebook. The report also discussed encountering adolescent and taking up ones worries. The stages of making the guidebook’s layout and content from a draft to a finished product was reported. Guidebook’s content was written into an easily understandable form and layout was kept simple to ease the use of it. While making the guidebook attention was also paid to the guidebook’s usability as a printed or grayscale form. The information of the guidebook can be used not only by parents but also by depressed adolescent’s other close ones and the people working with parents. Information of encountering adolescent and taking up one’s worries can be adapted diversely also into other situations than those related to mental disorders. Similar guidebooks can be created for other mental disorders and thus create a series of easy to read and compact guidebooks

Pientalon lämmitysjärjestelmien vertailu

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli vertailla minkälaisia kustannuseroja maalämpöpumpulla ja suo-rasähköllä lämmittämisessä on. Lähestyin aihetta asiakaslähtöisesti käymällä läpi molempien tapojen eri rakentamisvaiheita, lämmityskustannuksia sekä investointeja ja niiden kannattavuutta. Aihe on ajankohtainen, sillä kasvavat energiahinnan kustannukset aiheuttavat ihmisille haasteita valitessaan oikeata lämmitysjärjestelmää. Tarkoituksenani on antaa todellinen vertailu sähkö-lämmitys näkökulmasta koskien tätä kyseistä kohdetta, jonka sähkötöistä vastasin. Minulla on vuosien kokemus sähköalalta ja olen ollut monenlaisissa kohteissa sähköasennus-työssä, siksi osallistuessani koko rakennusprojektiin alusta alkaen pystyin kertomaan eri työvai-heiden eroista ja kustannuksista todellisina. Lisäksi minulla oli käytössäni todelliset sähkönkulu-tuslukemat ja vedenkulutuslukemat vuoden ajalta, joita voitiin vertailla vastaaviin laskennallisiin sähkölämmityslaskelmiin. LVI- urakkalaskelma on saatu urakoitsijalta ja sähkölämmityksen osalta laskelma on todellinen tarvikkeiden osalta ja työtuntikulut on laskettu vastaavien kohteiden työtuntien perusteella. Purkutyöt eivät kuuluneet LVI-urakkaan ja sähkötyökustannuksiin, koska rakennuttaja teki ne itse valvonnan alla. Kokonaisvertailulaskelman perusteella voitiin päätellä, että maalämpöjärjestelmän investointi oli kannattava pitkällä aika välillä. Kuitenkin varaavien tulisijojen käyttö olisi paljon merkittävämpi käytettäessä sähkölämmitystä. Maalämpöpumpulla on ajoittain ongelmia lämpimän käyttöveden riittävyydessä esimerkkitalon perheen käytössä, vastaavasti sähkölämmitteisessä varaajassa, sitä ongelmaa ei ole. Nykyinen tekniikka mahdollistaa lämminvesivaraajan veden lämmittämisen auringon avulla yli kahdeksan kuukauden ajan, joten kuluero lämpimän käyttöveden suhteen jäisi pieneksi.The objective was to compare the work of the theses of the kind of cost differences, geothermal pump and direct electric heating was. In vivo imaging of pyrrole-imidazole polyamides with positron emission tomography

The biodistribution profiles in mice of two pyrrole-imidazole polyamides were determined by PET. Pyrrole-imidazole polyamides are a class of small molecules that can be programmed to bind a broad repertoire of DNA sequences, disrupt transcription factor-DNA interfaces, and modulate gene expression pathways in cell culture experiments. The 18F-radiolabeled polyamides were prepared by oxime ligation between 4-[18F]-fluorobenzaldehyde and a hydroxylamine moiety at the polyamide C terminus. Small animal PET imaging of radiolabeled polyamides administered to mice revealed distinct differences in the biodistribution of a 5-ring β-linked polyamide versus an 8-ring hairpin, which exhibited better overall bioavailability. In vivo imaging of pyrrole-imidazole polyamides by PET is a minimum first step toward the translation of polyamide-based gene regulation from cell culture to small animal studies

Ensihoidon kenttäjohtojärjestelmää tarvitaan Pohjois-Suomessa

Oulun yliopistollisen sairaalan erityisvastuualueen kenttäjohtajien ja ensihoitajien mielipiteitä kenttäjohtotoiminnasta selvitettiin kahdella kyselytutkimuksella. Kyselyihin vastasi 270 ensihoitajaa ja 29 kenttäjohtajaa viiden sairaanhoitopiirin alueelta. Kenttäjohtajan tärkeimmiksi työtehtäviksi arvioitiin ensihoitoasetuksen mukaiset tehtävät: johtamisen moniviranomaistilanteissa, ja usean ensihoitoyksikön tehtävillä, toimimisen hoitotason ensihoitajana sekä hätäkeskuksen tukemisen. Kenttäjohtajilla oli myös muita kuin asetuksessa säädettyjä tehtäviä ja ne vaihtelivat sairaanhoitopiireittäin. Kenttäjohtojärjestelmää pidettiin hyödyllisenä ja ensihoitopalvelun laatua parantavana

Evidence for spared attention to faces in 7-month-old infants after prenatal exposure to antiepileptic drugs

Introduction: Prenatal antiepileptic drug (AED) exposure is associated with an increased risk of cognitive impairment and autism spectrum disorders detected mainly at the age of two to six years. We examined whether the developitiental aberrations associated with prenatal AED exposure-could be-detected already in infancy and whether effects on visual attention can be observed at this early age. Material and methods: We compared a prospective cohort of infants with in utero exposure to AED (n = 56) with infants without drug exposures (n = 62). The assessments performed at the age of seven months included standardized neurodevelopmental scores (Griffiths Mental Developmental Scale and Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination) as well as a novel eye-tracking-based test for visual attention and orienting to faces. Background information included prospective collection of AED exposure data, pregnancy outcome, neuropsychological evaluation of the mothers, and information on maternal epilepsy type. Results: Carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, and valproate, but not lamotrigine or levetiracetam, were associated with impaired early language abilities at the age of seven months. The general speed of visuospatial orienting or attentional bias for faces measured by eye-tracker-based tests did not differ between AED-exposed and control infants. Discussion: Our findings support the idea that prenatal AED exposure may impair verbal abilities, and this effect may be detected already in infancy.
