The structure of flirtation as a speech genre in dialogues of Soviet intelligentsia: Composite genres and subgenres (based on plays by L. Zorin and V. Azernikov)

    Get PDF
The article studies speech behavior of the class of Soviet intelligentsia in communicative situations of flirting. The research is based on Soviet comedy plays of the 1960s–1970s: “Dobryaki”, “Entsiklopedisty”, “Tranzit”, “Pokrovskie vorota”, “Teatral’naya fantaziya” by Leonid Zorin and “Vozmozhny varianty” by Valentin Azernikov. The relevance of the topic is related to the increased interest ofmodern linguistics in the verbal means typical of romantic discourse in general and of the genre of flirting in particular. Authors of dramatic texts create a speech portrait of the characters and place them in different communicative situations using speech genres and their verbal means of actualization, appropriated for the social group to which the character belongs. The semantic content of the lexeme “flirt” includes the following main features: ambiguity, elements of comic genres and play. The article presents the subgenres of the speech genre of flirting: compliment, gratitude, hint, joke. The author describes the revealed verbal means which actualize the speech genre of flirting in the speech of the class of Soviet intelligentsia. They are complicated and ambiguous constructions, polysemous words, lexical repetitions, use of plural “you”, vocabulary with positive semantics in assessing moral qualities, precedent statements. Stage directions describing characters’ intonation, gestures and movements are treated as supporting means of modeling of the non-verbal behavior in flirting. &nbsp

    Sphingolipids in ischemic stroke

    Get PDF
Determination of new biomarkers involved in the pathogenesis of ischemic stroke is an extremely important task from the point of view of identifying possible mechanisms for preventing the occurrence of an acute event, better diagnosis, and influencing the stages of pathogenesis to reduce the inflammatory focus. Sphingolipids belong to new biomarkers of atherosclerosis, which are involved in inflammation, apoptosis, and ischemia. The widespread introduction of mass spectrometry has made it possible to study sphingolipids in more detail. This review aims to summarize the available data on the role of sphingolipids in ischemic stroke

Research objective. Study of condition of hemostasis system at patients with hysteromyoma complicated by bleeding; comparative estimation of hemostasis indicators at patients with uterine arteries embolization (the basic group n=48) and abdominal hysterectomy (comparison group n=65). Materials and methods. Complex study of the basic hemogram parameters and hemostasis at 162 patients with hysteromyoma and 30 patients without marked genital pathology (the II control group) was carried out. 48 patients formed the main group which was subjected to uterine arteries embolization for bleeding break; 65 patients (the comparative group) were surgically operated upon abdominal hysterectomy; 49 patients with hysteromyoma had no bleedings and formed the control group. Research of hemostasis system was carried out by means of test-tube method, and also by plotting set for express-diagnostics, analysis of thrombocyte unit of hemostasis system was realized with 2-channel analyzer of thrombocyte aggregation «Biola» — LA 230. Results. Presented analysis of hemostasiogram parameters allows to state development of chronic DIC-syndrome in women with hysteromyoma. Reliable shortening of coagulation index, decrease of thrombocyte aggregation function in comparison to the control group data were revealed. Conclusion. Development of hyper coagulation with increase of paracoagulative products with simultaneous activation of fibrinolysis processes in all the patients with hysteromyoma was revealed. Minimal effect of embolization of uterine arteries to hemostasis system in patients with hysteromyoma was marked. And they were intensified after surgical treatment, which is the evidence of definite advantages of this method unlike of hysterectom

In this context, the marine isotope substage 11c (MIS11c) interglacial offers a suitable scenario, given that during its later portion orbital parameters were close to our current interglacial. Ice core data indicate that warmer-than-present temperatures lasted for longer than during other interglacials. However, the response of the Antarctic ice sheets and their contribution to sea level rise remain unclear. We explore the dynamics of the Antarctic ice sheets during this period using a numerical ice sheet model forced by MIS11c climate conditions derived from climate model outputs scaled by three glaciological and one sedimentary proxy records of ice volume. Our results indicate that the East and West Antarctic ice sheets contributed 4.0–8.2 m to the MIS11c sea level rise. In the case of a West Antarctic Ice Sheet collapse, which is the most probable scenario according to far-field sea level reconstructions, the range is reduced to 6.7–8.2 m independently of the choices of external sea level forcing and millennial-scale climate variability. Within this latter range, the main source of uncertainty arises from the sensitivity of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet to a choice of initial ice sheet configuration. We found that the warmer regional climate signal captured by Antarctic ice cores during peak MIS11c is crucial to reproduce the contribution expected from Antarctica during the recorded global sea level highstand. This climate signal translates to a modest threshold of 0.4 °C oceanic warming at intermediate depths, which leads to a collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet if sustained for at least 4000 years.Publisher PDFPeer reviewe
