El Uso del Peritaje Cultural-Antropológico como Prueba Judicial en América Latina: Reflexiones de un Taller Internacional: The use of Cultural-Anthropologic expertise as judicial proof in Latin America: Reflections from an international workshop

Influence of Three Probiotics Strains, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis BB-12 and Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 on the Biochemical and Haematological Profiles and Body Weight of Healthy Rabbits
Currently, probiotics are used as growth promoters on a large scale to improve
the productivity of several animals’ species within the aim of reducing the presence of antibiotic
residues in animal products consumed by humans. Several reports evidenced the positive effect
of probiotic supplementation on the growth performances and health of rabbits, mainly through
the balance of the intestinal microbiota of the host animal. Therefore, certain probiotics, including
Lactobacilli, Bifidobacteria, Saccharomyces, can improve the biochemical and haematological profiles,
especially in production animals. In this context, this study was performed on rabbits for the
economic importance they play as a source of meat proteins in developing countries and their use as
experimental models in research and biomedicine. This study then aimed to evaluate the effect of
three strains of probiotics: Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis BB-12 and
Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745, on the biochemical and haematological parameters and their
influence on the rabbit’s weight of the ITELV2006 strain. The findings evidenced that the probiotic
strain affected the biochemical and haematological parameters. Further, the strains showed a positive
effect on the weight gain of the rabbits. This study aimed to investigate the effects of three strains of probiotics, these being
Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis BB-12 and Saccharomyces boulardii
CNCM I-745, on the body weight, animal performances and blood parameters of rabbits (male
and female) of the ITELV2006 strain. The supplementation of the feed of the rabbits with the three
probiotic strains allowed observing positive effects on most of the biochemical and haematological
parameters investigated during a period of 60 days (30 days of supplementation and 30 days without
treatment). Further, there was a significant improvement in the body weight of the rabbits at the end
of the experiment. The effect of the three probiotics investigated in this trial was found to be related
to the sex of the rabbits and to the intake period (duration). Ultimately, these findings raise the
possibility of using probiotics to investigate in an in-depth and specific manner based on fixed factors
such as the strain, the gender and age of the animals, the main underlying mechanisms and effects,
which would allow achieving optimal and adapted health benefits and sustainable production. In
the context of animal production, it is worth investigating in a targeted study the effect of the three
strains on muscle growth and development and finding evidence of the possible consequences on
meat quality traits of the rabbits supplemented with probiotics
Essential oil and hydrophilic antibiotic co-encapsulation in multiple lipid nanoparticles: proof of concept and in vitro activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Producción CientíficaIn the worldwide context of an impending emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria, this research combined the advantages of multiple lipid nanoparticles (MLNs) and the promising therapeutic use of essential oils (EOs) as a strategy to fight the antibiotic resistance of three Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains with different cefepime (FEP) resistance profiles. MLNs were prepared by ultrasonication using glyceryl trioleate (GTO) and glyceryl tristearate (GTS) as a liquid and a solid lipid, respectively. Rosemary EO (REO) was selected as the model EO. REO/FEP-loaded MLNs were characterized by their small size (~110 nm), important encapsulation efficiency, and high physical stability over time (60 days). An assessment of the antimicrobial activity was performed using antimicrobial susceptibility testing assays against selected P. aeruginosa strains. The assays showed a considerable increase in the antibacterial property of REO-loaded MLNs compared with the effect of crude EO, especially against P. aeruginosa ATCC 9027, in which the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value decreased from 80 to 0.6 mg/mL upon encapsulation. Furthermore, the incorporation of FEP in MLNs stabilized the drug without affecting its antipseudomonal activity. Thus, the ability to co-encapsulate an essential oil and a hydrophilic antibiotic into MLN has been successfully proved, opening new possibilities for the treatment of serious antimicrobial infections.Tunisian Ministry of HEducation and Scientific Research and by the Fundación General de la Universidad de Valladolid (PIP 063/147181)Fondo de Innovación, Tecnología y Economía Circular (FITEC) e iNOVA4Health (UIDB/04462/2020
The economic impact of nuclear dismantlement in Spain
The process of dismantling a nuclear power plant involves a series of economic activities, linked to economic sectors other than energy, which represent an opportunity for economic development, not only for the local communities where the power plant is located, but also for the rest of the society. Currently, the Spanish nuclear power plants have an average operating life of 33 years and in a decade will end its design life, so it is of interest to know the economic impact that will have its dismantling. For this, in this paper a multisectorial model is developed with which the impact of the dismantling process is analyzed, which includes both the closure of the plants, as well as the substitution of other energy sources and the management of radioactive waste.
The present research generates contributions for the formation of an associativity by
adopting an associative model to achieve the export of palo bean to the Panama market.
Nowadays, the high competence of the production units has meant that small producers
must apply and develop associative strategies to overcome their limitations of scale,
increase production and marketing costs, have technical assistance and access to financing
sources, achieve high quality standards for export and therefore a better quality of life for
them. For this reason, the main objective pursued by this research is to analyze the most
relevant model of associativity that allows small producers to export a product with
competitive advantages to the international market, taking into account the study of factors
and elements that make up an associative model. Currently the small producers of palo
bean de Monsefu that have been working individually have faced several inconveniences,
which sometimes they have not been able to overcome, because they do not have the
necessary technical training, which generates a weakness in the development of their
productive process and an unstable agriculture that is not in line with their expectations in
relation to price and demand; from this reality arises the need to work together, helping
each other to solve problems that individually have not been able to do it. This is why the
study of a model of associativity of small producers more relevant that allows them to export
palo bean to Panama, one of the main consuming countries of beans in the world. The type
of research used was a Qualitative-Causal approach. In this research interviews and
surveys have been applied to farmers, these instruments have allowed us to know and
analyze the key elements necessary for the success of the formation of an association
focusing in export. As a result of the analysis of the information, it has been possible to
achieve the objectives of the research and the validity of the hypothesis that establishes:
An Associative model of small producers of Palo beans in Monsefu - Chiclayo allows export
to the Panama market. Finally, we have determined the conclusions and recommendations
that allow them to improve and raise their associative skills with a view to the organization
of producers so participate successfully in the national and international market
