Media habits and resignification by students in the public school system

Neste artigo temos por objetivo investigar o lugar do campo da comunicação/educação na conformação da realidade social buscando compreender, por um lado, o espaço ocupado pelos meios de comunicação no cotidiano dos estudantes e, por outro, as ressignificações desses estudantes frente à temática da família homoafetiva, pautada pela telenovela. Para tanto, adotamos como itinerário metodológico a abordagem quantitativa para investigar os hábitos midiáticos dos estudantes de duas escolas públicas do Ensino Médio e, posteriormente, a abordagem qualitativa, buscando entender, por meio da análise de discurso de linha francesa (ADF), seus usos e apropriações quanto à telenovela.This article aims to investigate the role of the communication/education field in shaping the social reality, aiming to understand, on the one hand, the role played by the media in the student’s daily lives and, on the other, what are the resignifications done by these students in relation the theme of gay families, which was approached by the telenovela. For that end, we have adopted as a methodological itinerary the quantitative approach to investigate the media habits of students in two public high schools and, later on, the qualitative approach, aiming to understand, through the French Discourse Analysis (FDA), its use and appropriation in regard to the telenovelas

Estudos baseados na prática para uma aprendizagem baseada em competências

F Faced with the existing gap in formal education regarding the dissonance between learning and competence development, the objective of this article is to investigate how the "Teaching Case" method corroborates Practice-Based Research, placing practice as a priority for understanding of students' learning and skills development. The study demonstrates the contribution of the Inspirational Teaching Case method to the teaching-learning process according to four categories: practical learning; theories subordinated to practice; interesting challenge and engagement. The research results indicate that the Teaching Case allows articulating the four categories and that this articulation contributes to competence-based learning.Diante da lacuna existente no ensino formal quanto à dissonância entre a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento de competências, investigou-se como o método caso de ensino corrobora com os estudos baseados na prática, colocando a prática como prioritária para a compreensão da aprendizagem e do desenvolvimento de competências dos alunos. O estudo demonstra a contribuição do método Caso de Ensino Inspiracional para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de acordo com quatro categorias: aprendizagem prática; teorias subordinadas à prática; desafio interessante e engajamento. Os resultados indicam que o caso de ensino permite articular as quatro categorias e que esta articulação contribui para uma aprendizagem baseada em competências

Hábitos midiáticos e ressignificações de estudantes da rede pública

Telenovela como roteiro do real: uma análise da família homoafetiva em Amor à Vida e Em Família

The aim of this article is to understand the discursive constructions in fictional narratives about homosexuality, in particular, to shed light on the contemporary legislative debate around the concept of family. For that, we selected as corpus of analysis two telenovelas, Amor à Vida and Em Família, in which the characters Felix and Clara, respectively, form a homoaffective family. Thus, we seek to elucidate, through the French Line Discourse Analysis (ADF), the meanings articulated around the trajectories of these characters so that we can understand the articulations between media and homosexuality.O presente artigo tem por objetivo compreender as construções discursivas nas narrativas ficcionais televisivas em torno da homossexualidade, em especial, lançando luz ao debate legislativo contemporâneo em torno do conceito de família. Para tanto, selecionamos como corpus de análise duas telenovelas, Amor à Vida e Em Família, em que os personagens Félix e Clara, respectivamente, formam uma família homoafetiva. Assim, buscamos elucidar, por meio da Análise de Discurso de Linha Francesa (ADF), os sentidos articulados em torno das trajetórias desses personagens de modo que possamos compreender as articulações entre mídia e homossexualidade
