Posisi Wanita Pada Rumah Tradisional Baanjungan Di Banjarmasin

Arsitektur merupakan hasil kebudayaan manusia. Masyarakat Banjar memposisikan wanita dalam posisi yang sangat penting. Posisi wanita sebagai pengguna dari ruang sosial dalam masyarakat Banjar memegang peranan penting dalam keluarga, hal ini dibuktikan dengan beberapa aktivitas utama yang hanya dikerjakan oleh wanita dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Bahasan ini menggunakan metode penelitian deksriptif kualitatif yang didapat dari data primer dan sekunder. Bahasan ini memfokuskan pada Rumah Tradisional Banjar Baanjungan yang merupakan arsitektur klasik Banjar yang tidak banyak dibuat lagi dalam bentuk aslinya. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa peran wanita dalam masyarakat Banjar sangat penting yang dibuktikan dengan penempatan posisi wanita dalam rumah Baanjungan yang sangat terlindung. Posisi wanita berada pada ruang Palidangan dan Padapuran yang berada setelah ruang paling depan yaitu ruang Palataran dan Panampik Basar

PENDAMPINGAN TEKNIS PEKERJAAN PEMBUATAN MATERIAL PELAPIS TANAH SEBAGAI AKSES JALAN DAN AREA PARKIR

Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang sangat penting. Dengan adanya konstruksi jalan maka mempermudah masyarakat dalam melakukan mobilisasi untuk melaksanakan kegiatannya masing-masing. Kualitas jalan yang baik diperlukan demi keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan. Dengan adanya survai topografi dan geoteknik, maka dapat ditentukan perancangan lapis atas dan lapis bawah jalan. Selain memperhatikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembuatan jalan di lapangan juga perlu diperhatikan agar didapat konstruksi yang aman dan nyaman bagi pengguna sesuai dengan perencanaannya. Pada pelaksanaan di lapangan, perlu adanya koordinasi yang baik sehingga semua tahapan pengerjaan jalan dapat terlaksana dengan baik secara keseluruhan. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Departemen Teknik Sipil UNDIP memberikan pendampingan teknis dan pengarahan desain serta pelaksanaan pembuatan material pelapis tanah berupa paving block. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di area pemakaman Al-Hanafi, Semarang. Selain digunakan sebagai area parkir bagi kendaraan yang akan menyimpan barang digudang maupun pengunjung yang berziarah ke makam, jalan ini juga berfungsi sebagai akses menuju gudang peralatan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian juga melibatkan masyarakat dengan system gotong royong agar tercapai tujuan, yaitu pembuatan akses jalan dan area parkir, seperti yang diharapkan. Oleh karena fungsinya yang vital, dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat membantu permasalahan Pengurus Area Pemakaman Al-Hanafi Semarang tersebut.Kata kunci : area parkir, paving block, bantuan teknis, jala

Third-order nonlinearity with subradiance dark-state in ultra-strong excitons and surface plasmon coupling using self-antiaggregation organic dye

A strong coupling regime with dressed states is formed when a propagating surface plasmon (PSP) mode coherently exchanges energy with an ensemble of excitons at a rate faster than the system's losses. These states are superpositions of superradiance excitons and PSP modes, accompanied by remaining subradiance or 'dark' exciton states. Dark-states are ubiquitous, especially in disordered systems, and they rise in number as the number of excitons increases. Here, the ultra-strong coupling regime was experimentally observed with the coupling strength to bare energy as high as g/${E}_{exciton}\,$∼ 0.23 using a self-antiaggregation organic dye, BOBzBT2 in an Otto-SPR configuration. We show that the hybrid system of excitons in a nonlinear organic dye layer and a PSP mode can be described by employing dark-state in a theory of nonlinear third-order sum-frequency generation (TSFG). Close agreement between the theory and the experiment has been demonstrated. This study aims to determine how the influence of maqashid sharia on the happiness of the Muslim community in Indonesia, both in urban and rural areas in Indonesia. This study uses IFLS 2014 wave 5 data with the estimated logit model. The results of this study state that education (akal), health (jiwa), and income (maal) are significantly positively related to the possibility of the level of happiness of the Indonesian people not only in urban areas but also in rural areas

The Influence of Intellectual Capital and Corporate Governance on Financial Performance of Islamic Banks

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the effect of intellectual capital, independent directors, academic directors, and sharia supervisory boards on the financial performance of Islamic banks. The selection of samples observation based on the database of Best Islamic Financial Institutions Award, includes Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maroko, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uni Emirate Arab. Methodology - This study uses a sample of 20 Islamic banks in several countries which received the "Best Islamic Financial Institutions Award 2018" by Global Finance Magazine and has published financial reports for the period of 2013-2017. This study adopted panel regression analysis and utilized the Random Effect Model.Findings - The results of the study prove that intellectual capital has a positive effect on financial performance. While independent directors, academic directors, and the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) have no effect on the financial performance of Islamic banking companies. These results indicate that intellectual capital is a force for Islamic banking to increase company value through financial performance. While the factors related to corporate governance tend to reduce performance due to several limitations for management in carrying out its operational activities.Research limitations – this study has a limitation in using Islamic banking data from various countries with backgrounds that are certainly different from one another which might be bias. Practical implications – This study suggest that management needs to allocate its resources to provide guidance and development of human resources through regular training in the field of fiqh muamalah, contemporary Islamic banking products and services, effective business communication, as well as extensive market knowledge to anticipate the competition in ways that are in accordance with the principles of sharia.Originality – This research fills a research gap in investigating the nexus of intellectual capital and corporate governance mechanism on Islamic banking performance which has not been discussed in previous papers, particularly using Islamic banking in several countries that are committed to develop the Islamic financial industry

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors that most significantly affect the satisfaction of mustahiq zakat, namely the students of SMA Terbuka Depok (a school which is the result of the education program of the Zakat Sukses institution in Depok). The method that will be used is quantitative research using Non-Probability Sampling technique with Stratified Sampling approach. Data analysis used the ordinary least square method using the servqual model method. A Control Method for Modified Bidirectional Cuk DC-DC Converter

A control method for a modified bidirectional Cuk DC-DC converter is proposed in this paper. The proposed controller is a double control loop consisting of an inner current control loop and a voltage control loop is used to control the converter. The small-signals model that is useful in designing controllers is derived in this paper. A simple PI controller is used for both controllers. The simulation and experimental results are included in this paper to validate the performance of the proposed controller
